Well, I'm going to start off with a heartbreaking Camp Mystic update from Texas. As rescue efforts continue, parents are starting to receive letters that their daughters wrote and sent before these catastrophic floods took their lives. I mean, can you imagine getting a letter in the mail from your daughter who is no longer here? The July 4th floods claimed at least 27 young lives from Mystic, including campers and college-age counselors. Still, several are missing, unaccounted for. Mindy McKnight was sharing her story about how she received two letters from her daughter, Paisley, after the Camp Mystic flood. Letters that had obviously been written before the tragedy. And she said the moment that she opened them was just heartbreaking. and she just said it's it is so tough it's so tough for your daughter to be gone and you read something that she wrote when she was very much still here wow awful so sad to me that there are still so many individuals who are missing not just camp mystic campers but in people who were

in that area we also had uh some more bad weather issues uh during the overnight uh there was more big storms that are coming their way and then this week we're getting lots of flooding i don't know if uh you were out and about at all on saturday but saturday the rain that happened in the afternoon was like torrential and it only would lasted maybe 45 minutes to an hour but we they say that in the one hour period of time that we got rain was more rain than in some weeks that we've gotten last

year it was weird that sky was so dark i went around my house turned on all my lights and then

like an hour later it was bright and sunny I guess yeah we had an event at a new car wash ill ill car wash like on my own road it was a beautiful event tigers excuse me lions mascot pulled up it was an amazing event all of a sudden dark yeah rain pouring couldn't see a

thing had to close up early you know what that's the reason why we had rain you had the event at the car wash anytime I get my car wash it rains all right Justin Bieber has agreed to pay his

Former manager, Scooter Braun, we know that name, $31.5 million as part of a financial settlement. $26 million of that was part of the advance that was owed because of the canceled 2022 Justice Tour. It was the amount that Scooter and his company paid Justin as an advance for that tour. And then the tour got canceled. He never saw that money. So that was a sticking point. Bieber also going to. to pay Scooter $5.5 million for unpaid commissions. And then I saw, too, over the weekend, Scooter commenting on Justin's album that he dropped on Friday, Swag. Was he positive or not? He was very positive. He called it the most authentic album that he feels like Justin has ever put out. He said it was beautiful, raw, truly him, and just said, I'm happy he released it without a lot of promotion, like with very little warning. And he said he's still incredibly proud of Justin and

very impressed with the album we premiered and played all the music on friday but all through the weekend we were kind of spicing it up in there and playing the music on the iHeart app and of course on our radio stations and i tell you that the response from listeners was way more positive than what friday morning's response was from all of us i think we were shocked to hear bieber's music and we're none of us you know we weren't blown away by it but honestly as the weekend went on, I started really liking the songs a lot more. If you listen to the lyrics of a lot of the songs, there is a lot to him, especially knowing all the stuff that he's been going through.

Some people online were also saying that this album was just a setup to a larger pop album that he's going to be coming out with. Potentially by the end of the year.

Music Festival. Oh my god, I would die. I would die! I'm serious. You'd have to pick me up off the ground. All right. The final vote for Love Island USA season seven. Reunion date also announced that is dropping Monday, August 25th, just so you know. And lastly, Superman, the big movie at the box office over the weekend, opened with $123 million in the U.S. and Canada. It is the first DC title to surpass $100 million in its opening weekend since Wonder Woman did that back in 2017. So Superman number one, Jurassic World Rebirth number two, and F1, the movie coming in, and third.

Have we checked on the whereabouts of Jay Towers, one Jay Towers? Is he on a sabbatical? It's just like a thing, a moment for him, like where he, when a movie comes out like

this, he takes a few days off.

I mean, that guy, every weekend I'm watching his social media and he is doing some Superman stuff. It's incredible. I just rewatched Man is Steel.

I forgot he was in that movie.

Yeah. Yeah.

A reporter or something like that.

Well, and he also is like best friends with the originals, all the originals and stuff. And they go out and they do autograph signings. And people ask Jay nationally for his autograph because they know him as one of the world renowned you know superman i don't know what do they what do they call the people that are like aficionados documentary i don't know he like documents historian like a historian yeah the

movie is incredible though if you haven't seen it go see it could we ask though could we ask the uh

like lawrence tech or madonna university or maybe go big go u of m could we ask them to make jay a
