So if all 76 passengers take up Delta on its offer, the airline will have to fork over just about $2.3 million in total. Now, Delta care team reps are telling customers, people on that flight, that the offer has no strings attached and does not affect their rights. So when I heard that this morning, I'm thinking, does that mean that they could still lawyer up and sue for emotional distress? Or I don't know what you would sue for in this case for in addition to that $30,000 more money. Delta is just saying, hey, we're so sorry this happened. Here you go. I don't know.
