All right, Shannon, what's going on in the Dirty on the 30?

Well, shout out to UConn beating South Carolina 82-59 to win its record 12th NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship yesterday.

It's an even dozen for Gina Auriemma and Connecticut.

They hadn't done it in a while. They hadn't done it since, what, 2017 or something like that? Yeah, that's amazing.

We were watching the game, and I mean, it wasn't even really a game. They were just killing them.

Did you see the controversy online about it? What was it? Controversy online where people are upset that why is it that the women's championship was 3 o'clock on a Sunday while the men's championship is Monday night at 9 o'clock at night or 8 o'clock at night? I think it's better to be on 3 o'clock on a Sunday because I personally will watch the entire game, which I also watched it too, and I don't really watch women's basketball that much unless Caitlin Clark's in there.

He admits it. The GOAT. Here we go. The GOAT.

But the men's championships tonight, so they felt like there were people, women, that were upset saying that they believe it's sexual discrimination, that the game was not on primetime last night.

See, I actually feel like they got a better slot.

I agree. I would like it if they played on the same day. Like if you had, say it was today, I would like the women to play at six and the guys play at nine.

Why do the guys get to play second? Why can't the women play second?

Well, I think the men draw a larger audience. I think you always put your superstars to go last.

You're mean.

I was going to say, Paige Beckers, for those who don't know, she'll probably be the number one draft pick going to the Dallas Wings in this upcoming draft. She suffered two, I would say for some people, would be career-ending injuries, like back-to-back years. She broke her tibia laughing in 21-22 into her ACL the next season. So for her to battle through all of that and to now be a champion like that, I think that's an amazing story.

It's amazing that she'll still be number one, because I think that if that were a male athlete, I think that he would have been down on the draft, even if he was playing great.

But look at like Michael Penix, who played for the Washington Huskies. That was the team that the Michigan Wolverines beat to win a championship. Yeah, he was drafted pretty high for the Falcons and he had like three horrific leg injuries. And football is a sport where, you know, that can happen.

But he wasn't a number one pick, though. That's the interesting thing.

Lottery still, though.

You know what they should do? NBA, WNBA, which I think would be really smart. In high school sports, they will have the men's and the women's teams sometimes play back-to-back, like where the varsity teams will play back-to-back or JV teams in JV men's and women's. They should do a WNBA, NBA game on the same court for the fans to have at Ford Field or, like, one of these big old football stadiums do, like, the WNBA game and the NBA games, and the fans get to watch both games in the same day. Like, I think that would be awesome. Or even the NCAA do that with the championships. So that Monday night or whatever, they could have both of them in the same place.

again. Russell Brand has been charged with rape and sexual assault over alleged attacks on four different women in London between 1999 and 2005. He is facing five separate counts ranging from indecent assault to rape. Now, we've heard rumors about him for a long time. The allegations officially surfaced back in 2023 after investigation was done by some UK media outlets. he has consistently denied them.

I've always told you guys that when I was young and single, before I had my wife and family, we were just out of shot over there, my beautiful children, I was a fool, man. I was a fool before I lived in the light of the Lord. I was a drug addict, a sex addict, and an imbecile. But what I never was, was a rapist. I've never engaged in non-consensual activity. I pray that you can see that by looking in my eyes. And, of course, I'm now going to have the opportunity to defend these charges in court, and I'm incredibly grateful for that. In the meantime, you lot, stay free, and we will be continuing to discuss this matter.

Yeah, he is set to appear in court on May 2nd.

It's unusual for them to come out and speak when they're being alleged in this.

I mean, he has vehemently denied these rape allegations. Eminem's daughter, Haley, welcoming her first child with her husband, Evan McClintock. A big congratulations to them. She shared that news on Instagram over the weekend with a photo of her baby boy in front of a sign that reads, Elliot Marshall McClintock. I love that name. 3, 14, 20, 25. She's obviously giving her baby boy the middle name to honor her dad. And this makes Elliot, this makes Eminem, excuse me, a grandpa for the very first time.

What will he be called? You know how they always, you know, people have different names for their grandpas or grandmas?

And here's the thing. Olive Garden has held that top spot since 2018. So it's been number one for a long time. And last year, Texas Roadhouse, though, saw an increase of 14.7% in sales across their 720 locations. The rest of that top list, so it's Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Chili's, Applebee's, Buffalo Wild Wings, rounding out the top five.

You know, it's interesting. Buffalo Wild Wings kind of took a little bit of a drop there. For a while there, it was right up on my list. I loved it. I absolutely loved it. I don't see a lot of Chili's anymore. Where are the Chili's at around here? I don't either. I feel like they've all kind of gone away. Yeah, in Madison Heights by Oakland Mall. That was the one I remember. I would always go to the Northville one or Novi Northville one. That was always a good one. Right, them chicken crispers. I used to get with the corn.
