Did you guys see what happened at the Katy Perry show in San Fran over the weekend? Holy crap. So, she has this, like, humongous butterfly that she flies over the crowd on for part of the show. And it looked like one of the cables, like something happened to some of the cables.

This is the heart-stomping moment. Pop star Katy Perry's giant flying butterfly suddenly drops. Lurching toward the crowd below, Perry stops singing and looks up at the rigging, then raising her hand as if to steady herself before continuing on with the song, Roar.

She came over right in front of us and all of a sudden just dropped. And when that happened, my heart literally sunk because we were scared for her. We were scared for the fans that were also below her.

The scare unfolding Friday at the Chase Center, part of her Lifetime's tour. And this is not her first stunt stumble. Last month in Australia, the pop star clinging to her large metal sphere as it tipped to one side. And Katy Perry isn't the only star caught dangling from above. In June, Beyonce's flying red car tilting midair during her Cowboy Carter stop in her hometown of Houston. Stop, stop, stop, stop. The megastar pausing the show, later reassuring the crowd.

Stars like Beyonce, Katy Perry, and others, they're well aware of how much their concert tickets are going for their fans. They really want to make sure that fans are getting their money worth.

And Chris Brown was left hanging during a performance in Newark until the latter arrived. And this morning, as artists push the boundaries on stage, these malfunctions are raising questions about Ariel's stunt safety, not just for the performers, but for the fans watching below.

I would have damn near had a heart attack if that happened. It was really scary. If you haven't seen it, definitely worth a Google.

Did you ever see a pink show? Have you guys ever been to a pink show?

No, but she does tons of acrobatics.

She does acrobatics throughout the whole show. Yeah. and I don't know how many times she's ever had an incident. I have not heard of many, but maybe Katy Perry needs to just stay on the stage and sing. Like, I think that the pink thing is part of her deal, but I think that sometimes the artists, like, they want to give you, like, the greatest thing ever, and I think that the idea that they're flying up, like, that's not a good way to die. You know what I mean?

It's a dumb way to die.

And it's like a circus where they're doing it in so many different places, you know?

The only thing that I do like about it is that it gives fans the opportunity to be that much closer to the artist. Yeah. You know what I mean? You're standing in seats that's so, so far away. This is their chance to get close. She's in Detroit, August 3rd. We'll need the daughter.

And lastly, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's daughter, Shiloh Jolie, making the dirty because of her girlfriend? 19-year-old Shai and her rumored girlfriend, Kiani Rose, spotted in Studio City, California, together on Saturday by the paparazzi, just packing on the PDA. And I'm hearing from a few different people that it's actually a pretty serious relationship to the point that they have a condo and have moved in together as well.
