So the Michigan-Michigan State game yesterday that, Kev, I'm so sorry you couldn't be at.

Ah, you know, everything happens for a reason. We're going to talk about you not feeling good. You were sick all weekend. You were sick on Friday, Kev. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You were supposed to announce the game yesterday, and you had to call in sick. I don't think I've ever known that you've ever done that before. That's how you know it was a real thing. Wow.

Well, I was listening to the news station on the way in this morning, and I love that all they could say was there was a kerfuffle. There was a kerfuffle mid-court. Yeah.

Kaysen and Pippen there were maybe standing in center court. Holloman, I can't tell you about that. You're right.

So, here's what happened. Michigan guard Fat Fat Brooks shoved Michigan State guard Trey Holloman, you just heard there, at mid-court at the Breslin Center. It has been a tradition since, like, the mid-90s for seniors to kiss the Spartans' logo in their final home game and the the wolverines were like blocking what's up with the wolverines

and the logos at mid-court or midfield i hate this so there was this kerfuffle before officials

michigan coach dusty may and michigan state assistants went in and then actually separated

the players here's dusty may trey holliman shelved a couple players uh but it looked like they might been standing on the logo where michigan state tends to just what did you what did you see did were they aware of that tradition was it intentional or what did you see i didn't know

there was a tradition where they're shooting free throw and we have guys standing half court that there's not a tradition that we can't stand half court as the game's going on so i'm not familiar with that one is that a tradition okay oh yeah yeah no problem with that and obviously it took longer than any 10 uh f2 timeout monitors you know whatever the case it took a while but we're fine with that they've earned the right for that the seniors have poured their hearts out as far as the whatever happened i i did are we not aware are we not allowed to stay in a half court while they're shooting a free throw is that what oh you are okay so yeah so they walked up and did i mean look they they earned the right to rub our noses in it it is

what it is we have to play better and so we move on and by the way they do it still if they lost that game they they still do the same exact tradition if they would have lost that game

They played this game against, I think, Wisconsin one year. I remember I was at that game. And Wisconsin's coach, that guy Bo Ryan, was kind of a dick. And he understood it. This isn't about anything other than the seniors. And many of these seniors literally have stuck with the program when they could have gone somewhere else and not had to come back their senior year. Nowadays with NIL, obviously they're getting paid. They want to stay. But I just think that it's just classless. This is their moment. And again, I love the Wolverines when they're losing to the – Although, I'm worried about seeing them for a third time in the Big Ten tournament because it's hard to beat a team three times in one year.

Shout out to Michigan State, man. This has been an incredible season so far with incredible moments. Capped off with an amazing victory yesterday. The outright Big Ten champions. They also are the Big Ten champions in hockey who had a great moment being recognized also on the floor yesterday. What an incredible day for the green and white, man. Shout out to Izzo. 30th season. Hang a banner.

I love that guy. I said it in that clip that's up on our Instagram, the guy should run for governor. He would win. There's not a person, Republican or Democrat, that wouldn't vote for Tom Izzo. Now back to you, Shannon.

Really sad update on the very mysterious death of actor Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy. We've now gotten a lot more details. This story is just so nutty to me. So they died of natural causes a week apart. The state medical examiner's office said Betsy died first, probably around February 11th of a rare viral infection, something called Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome, which is spread through an infection by rodents.

Oh, Jesus.

Okay, like mice. Gene, they said, probably died around February 18th, a full week later, which remember I told you was when the last activity on his pacemaker was recorded. Their body is found in separate rooms in their very private gated home. The chief medical examiner also noted that Gene Hackman might not have even known his wife had died because he showed advanced signs of Alzheimer's disease. They said he was in a very poor state of health. He had significant heart disease, and that is ultimately what resulted in his death.

The Hackman kids are set to inherit $60-plus million from this guy. They didn't check on their old man for that long of a time.

That's what I keep saying. Nobody did. And listen, I get that she was the primary care provider for him, and maybe it took a day or two for somebody to check in, but... Come on. Eight days where nobody checked on him. Nine days total.

Those kids should not get a dime from their dad.

That is absolutely horrific.

Horrific. Taylor Swift fans are convinced that she made a secret appearance on Gaga's new album, Mayhem, that dropped at the end of last week. Specifically, fans believe that Taylor made an appearance on the album's ninth track, this one. How about you? It sounds like a dang Taylor Swift song. Come on. Everybody pointed out on social media that the song is a lot more upbeat compared to the darker pop sounds of the rest of the album. I saw one Swifty make a comment and it said, the production, the vocal style, the lyrics, it is screaming 2014 to 2019 Taylor so bad. So she's not credited anywhere on the album. But if you remember, she did this on, was it Calvin Harris? This is what you came for. Oh, yeah. And didn't use her real name. So maybe this is another one of those instances. I don't, but this totally sounds like a Taylor song.

It does. The first time I listened to the album, that's the first thing we said.

A 10-year-old Michigan boy died after his foster mom sat on him because he was acting up, crushing him under her 340-pound frame. Jennifer Wilson told police that Dakota Stevens, that was her foster son's name, had run away from her home that morning. She found him at a neighbor's home. The boy, who was only 91 pounds, threw himself on the front lawn outside of her home, at which point she sat on him. You can die from that? while calling his caseworker he was

screaming and screaming and screaming eventually stopped moving she was 340 pounds okay so she told police that she thought he was faking being hurt until she noticed that his eyelids had gone pale and again he wasn't moving when she rolled him over he was airlifted to the hospital there was nothing doctors could do he was taken off of life support two days later just a month after he had been placed in this woman's custody she faces six years in prison if convicted these foster

parents sometimes you know majority of them are good people but there's some bad ones that just want the money for being foster parents and you see this woman doing what she did geez well imagine

like you're the parents right and you're working to get your child back and then you hear something like this has happened and now you're hearing only six years yeah that's insane yeah so she

That's a life imprisonment thing. I don't understand that. Oh, I think so.
