Disgraced Hollywood mogul, Harvey Weinstein, has chronic myeloid leukemia, an uncommon form of cancer of the bone marrow. He is currently going through treatment in prison at Rikers Island. And we're learning about this because it was brought up during his legal battle. with Manhattan prosecutors over their efforts to combine his original 2020 sexual crimes with a new criminal indictment. His New York conviction was overturned this year as he was serving a 23 year sentence. New York Court of Appeals found that in the original case, the judge prejudiced Weinstein when he made a decision to let women testify about the allegations that weren't a part of the case. The reason that Weinstein is still in prison, though, is because he was also convicted in a 2022 case of rape in L.A. and sentenced to 16 years in that case.

You know how they say that good things happen to or bad things happen to good people? This is one of those things where it's like there are probably a few people going, eh, whatever, you know?

Yeah, I was holding my breath with where you were going with that sentence, and I'm glad where it ended up.

No, you know what I'm talking about? It's like, it's Harvey Weinstein. Although it's interesting, this guy's had more health issues. Just think of all the money that they're spending on this guy to try to make him better. I'm cool with that. Stay in jail. Stay in jail.

Enjoy prison treatment. The Queen of Halloween, a.k.a. Elvira, did an interview recently that kind of blew up over the weekend. She was talking about past celebrity experiences and a negative story about Ariana Grande was brought up.

Oh, really?

I'll tell you briefly why she went, okay, she came and she brought 20 guests. So she wanted 20 and 21 tickets. We're like, okay. And we give her the tickets and she comes backstage and she asks if I could take pictures with all of her friends and relatives she brought. I take a picture with every single one of them. I sign autographs for every single one of them. Then I say to her, can we take a photo together? She goes, no, right there.

Oh, she stepped Elvira.

Yeah, so Alvara posted this on her Instagram. I don't think anybody expected it to get the kind of attention that it did. And let us not forget Ariana Grande is the middle of promoting Wicked, where she plays the good witch. She cannot have negative press right now. So Ariana Grande goes to her Instagram, and she types out this huge apology saying, I'm so disheartened to see this. I actually don't even remember getting the chance to meet you because I had an anxiety attack. And to my memory, I left before the rest of my family. But if I'm misremembering this moment, I sincerely apologize for offending you so. Ariana even thanks Elvira for being so kind to her family, noting her mom had nothing but nice things to say about her, but added, she might have different feelings about that now, but I'll ask her. Clearly, we all have our days.

Hasn't Ariana, though, had kind of a little bit of a reputation for not necessarily always being great to fans?

That clip was, I edited it. It started with him talking about her donut situation and being rude to people in general. And yeah, she does kind of have a history of that.

When she licked the donuts at a bakery that she didn't buy. So the person after her bought the donuts that she had essentially spit on.

Fans seem to be coping With Liam Payne

death by listening to his music with streams for both One Direction and his solo music, seeing a huge spike following his passing. Since his death last week, his music jumped from 4.7 million monthly listeners on one streaming platform to 8 million monthly listeners. The single Strip That Down specifically gained about 800,000 streams, which is absolutely insane. That is

unbelievable, isn't it? It's like usually a scandal or a death gets you more streams because the Diddy stuff got a bunch of streams, too.

Yeah, One Direction blew up, but this song specifically went up nearly a million streams in the past week.

This actually was one of the better songs that we ever played.

You mean his only song that we played?

Well, no, but it's one of the better songs we ever played, period. I think this is still one of the best songs. It's a good record. I love this song.

Sometimes you forget what an artist does, And then, you know, unfortunately, like you said, when they have a scandal and they pass away, you start to re-listen, you're like, oh, damn, I forgot this song.

I never understood why he didn't have any more hits after this, because I always thought that this was actually a pretty good song.

Well, I think you said the record label, like, shelved him, right?

Something like that? Well, that was what happened before he ended up dying, that a lot of people were... He had a really bad reputation. Oh, did he? Yeah. Oh, geez.

He did some not great things. Taylor Swift gave Dave Portnay a little surprise this weekend a letter thanking him for his support he posted the letter up on one of the Barstool podcast social medias that he got while he was attending the URS tour in Miami on the envelope Taylor wrote Dave with like a star drawn on it next to his name and in the back had a seal with the number 13 in it but if you're wondering okay but what's inside of the note well she wrote that she was happy Dave was going to attend her show which is what she writes in a lot of them But then she went on to thank you for always being so supportive, so loyal, and for having her back when a lot of people didn't. If you're wondering, well, where did this come from? Well, this all has to do with when she endorsed Kamala Harris for president. Dave Portnoy was the one to go to the Internet and defend her, tweeting, As king of the Swifties, people are asking me what I think of her Kamala endorsement. I don't care at all. People can vote for whoever they want in this country. However somebody votes will never change my opinion of a person. And I'm voting the other way, but to each their own. So that's what this is all about.

That's dope. Two things. First off, Flavor Flav is King of the Swifties. And you know what wasn't in that note? A quarterback for Michigan.
