Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:34 - 00:01:45 | Speaker 3:

We'll get the dirty on here. We got Throwback Throwdown coming up here in just a little bit. Who's going to win $500 for you from Imagine Theaters? That's on the way. Shannon, what's trending?

00:01:45 - 00:01:56 | Speaker 1:

Well, Justin Timberlake, trending at the moment, says he's been diagnosed with Lyme disease. Sharing that news on Instagram yesterday, commemorating his Forget Tomorrow tour, which just wrapped in Turkey, I think, on Wednesday.

00:01:56 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 3:

Have you ever known of anybody that had Lyme disease?

00:01:59 - 00:01:59 | Speaker 1:

I do, yeah.

00:02:00 - 00:02:05 | Speaker 3:

It's, by the way, this is Lyme disease season. They say that the ticks are a record high.

00:02:05 - 00:02:11 | Speaker 1:

So I found a tick on Bo, my dog, and it's like no joke. I've never seen a tick.

00:02:11 - 00:02:14 | Speaker 3:

You have to look, too, on dogs. What made you notice it?

00:02:14 - 00:02:16 | Speaker 1:

Well, it was on his nose.

00:02:16 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 3:

Oh, thank God.

00:02:17 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 1:

And do you want to know? Well, it had been there for a couple of days. I kept thinking that it was like, he always digs and like I have mulch and dirt and stuff, and it was in there, and I went and got him groomed, And the groomer was like, I had to remove a tick from his nose. I felt so bad. I was like, that's what it was. It had buried itself into his nose. Wow. Yeah. So definitely check yourself, check your dogs. But he, Justin Timberlake, going back to him, wrote that the disease can be relentlessly debilitating both mentally and physically. And he said he did consider ending his tour when he was diagnosed, but he decided, quote, that the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress that my body was feeling. He said he's glad he kept going. But, I mean, he was, I kind of feel like he should have disclosed this information a while ago because he's just been getting slammed by audiences and fans for seeming to lack energy in his performances. I mean, it was just really lackluster.

00:03:13 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 3:

Remember this one, this clip? He was like not singing.

00:03:16 - 00:03:26 | Speaker 1:

He had the audience sing, but he said, you know, at least now people can understand. He was in a massive amount of pain and feeling crazy fatigued.

00:03:26 - 00:03:40 | Speaker 3:

I would like him to reveal his medical because it's just so interesting that this comes out two or three days after that bad press that he got.

00:03:40 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 1:

First thing I thought when I read it yesterday.

00:03:42 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 3:

I thought it was to put out a fire or something.

00:03:45 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 6:

No, you don't come out and lie about having Lyme disease.

00:03:47 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 3:

But what would be the thing of saying, hey, before, hey, by the way, I'm.

00:03:51 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 6:

Because it's nobody's business. He's just trying to push through and do what he signed up to do, which was the tour.

00:03:56 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 1:

I get that. I just go back to when Justin Bieber was diagnosed with that. What the heck was that? Ramsey Hunt. It was basically Bell's palsy. And he he came out and said, this is the reason that I've basically not been myself on stage. And actually, it's gotten so bad. I don't think I can continue giving the performances that I want to give to my fans. I kind of would have appreciated that.

00:04:19 - 00:04:21 | Speaker 6:

Everybody handles things in their own way.

00:04:21 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're right. He did finish by writing. I honestly don't know what my future is on stage, but I'll always cherish this run and all of them before. It's been the stuff of legend for me. Did you guys see what's coming back? They made the announcement yesterday. The presidential fitness test. Oh, yes. Do you remember that? I remember that. Oh, my God. I hated those days at gym class.

00:04:41 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 3:

I didn't know it went away, but I guess it went away. It did.

00:04:44 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 1:

So you had to do sit-ups, pull-ups, push-ups. Remember the sit-and-reach? The sit-and-reach test? The program changed, I think, in 2012 during the Obama administration. Yeah. Well, yesterday, President Trump signed an order reestablishing the.

00:05:00 - 00:05:16 | Speaker 4:

president's council on sports fitness and nutrition and part of that is that presidential fitness test to be administered by health secretary rfk jr and i saw that kansas city chief superstar harrison butker was on hand for this announcement got a little compliment from

00:05:16 - 00:05:40 | Speaker 3:

the president in the white in the process one of the most accurate kickers in nfl history a young guy still he can kick it long i think he's uh i guess he's considered the best there is in the business harrison butker so harrison where are you harrison handsome guy by the way i didn't it's usually not my thing but he is a good looking sucker good looking sucker and then while we're

00:05:40 - 00:05:53 | Speaker 4:

talking about white house happenings i also saw yesterday that press secretary caroline levitt made the announcement about a new literally a new addition to the white house this huge ballroom

00:05:54 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 2:

We are proud to announce that the construction of the new White House ballroom will begin. For 150 years, presidents, administrations and White House staff have longed for a large event space on the White House complex that can hold substantially more guests than currently allowed. President Trump has expressed his commitment to solving this problem on behalf of future administrations and the American people.

00:06:17 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 4:

Did you see the plans for this thing? Well, it's way too much money, but it looks like it's something straight out of the Palace of Versailles. It's gold.

00:06:24 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 6:

Big, beautiful ballroom. I got really pissed off about it because I was like, okay, we got people losing their jobs and stuff and you're building the ballroom. But then they said that the money is going to be all donated money. So they're having people donate the money. But you wonder what they're getting for their donations for this ballroom. But go back to the presidential fitness test. It was around back in the day when we started this morning show because I remember we went to Abbott Middle School and Coach Jamie Thomas made the whole show do it. We got to do it again. We had to do the shuffle. In honor of. It was the, like, what was it? The shuffle run and all the rest of that stuff. But he had Bryson DeChambeau there, the golfer. He had all these, like, you know, obviously athletes that were part of the thing.

00:07:06 - 00:07:06 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:07:07 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 6:

And then all I kept thinking to myself was, I want to see Trump do the presidential thing.

00:07:10 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 5:

I'm literally sitting up here like, you got to rename it.

00:07:13 - 00:07:22 | Speaker 6:

You got to rename it. Well, here's the deal. It was always named that. Or you got to do it. That's what I'm saying. It should have never been named that. And we've had unhealthy presidents in the past. I mean, we've had presidents in wheelchairs, for God's sakes.

00:07:23 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 5:

Change the name.

00:07:24 - 00:07:31 | Speaker 6:

But no, it'll be interesting to see how gym teachers like to do this. But I feel like kids don't even get gym class anymore.

00:07:31 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 4:

Oh, they do. Do they? I know Lucy and Smith had something called the Pacer Test. And it was essentially the same thing where they had to hit a certain number of reps of everything. And Lucy got so competitive. She's like, I scored the highest of all the girls in the fifth grade. She was like, she would go to bed early the night before.

00:07:48 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 6:

Could you guys do the climb the rope thing? Did you guys have the climb of the rope? We didn't have that in Moscow. So we had a rope, and we had to do a rope climb. You think this body is climbing on a rope? My arms would come out of the socket. No, not at all. You know who did?

00:08:03 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 4:

Brad Yeager.

00:08:04 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 6:

Tracy Rosa. Oh, I bet you watched her. She me up that rope. She me up the rope. Yeah, all the cute girls got up on the rope.

00:08:10 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, this got a shout-out in the 5 at 6.55 earlier in the show. This new face wrap that Kim Kardashian just debuted as a new product in her Skims shapewear line. It's supposed to help shape your jaw. I mean, this thing looks absolutely crazy. So Anthony Hopkins, who very famously played Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the Lambs, posted this kind of funny parody on Instagram wearing this face wrap.

00:08:43 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

Hello, Kim. I'm already feeling 10 years younger.

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God.

00:08:51 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

He does the thing. He does the thing. Khloe Kardashian posting, reposting that to her Instagram stories, writing, I am screaming right now. Let's go. Why do we want this?

00:09:03 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 6:

That's such a great movie.

00:09:05 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 4:

Are you looking at it right now? You know why?

00:09:07 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 6:

Why do we want this? Kevin, people want to look young. I'm sorry just because black don't crack and you always are going to look young.

00:09:14 - 00:09:14 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:09:15 - 00:09:16 | Speaker 6:

White people want to look young, too.

00:09:16 - 00:09:18 | Speaker 5:

I'm just saying, but white people can't look young.

00:09:18 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 6:

But do y'all all want to look the same? We all want to look like Kim Kardashian.

00:09:22 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 5:

That's what I'm saying. Everybody's face is going to be shaped the same? Yes. That's kind of crazy.

00:09:27 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 6:

I want to look like, what did you say the other day? I want to look like Caitlyn Jenner. That's what I want to look like.

00:09:48 - 00:09:54 | Speaker 6:

yeah and is it the similar thing too is it all the same stuff yeah they do all types of crap my

00:09:54 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 1:

son had to do it and he said that he was so out of breath he has asthma so yeah it made it It just wore him right out. Yeah. I will tell you this. You know, it's interesting that you look at, like, what schools probably serve in their cafeterias, and then you have to go do that right after you just had lunch. That was, like, my horrible times. That pizza. I had hot dog day when I had to do my fitness test. Not a good one to have a couple hot dogs.
