This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

Alan Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first time I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. And I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.

So King Charles found himself back in the hospital after getting his most recent cancer treatment yesterday. According to Bookingham Palace, the king experienced temporary side effects that required a short period of observation in the hospital. So lots of details there. His Thursday agenda was canceled, And then the statement continued that he's now recovering at Clarence House. And the King's cancer diagnosis was first revealed last February. But that's not good. That's not good. Have you seen his hands lately? I don't have hope.

That was homicide.

Okay. Oh, Jesus Christ. Megan Fox and her ex, Machine Gun Kelly, welcomed their first baby together. MGK took to Instagram yesterday to announce that Megan Fox gave birth to a little girl. Captioning it, she's finally here. Our little Celestial Seed. 3-27-25. Celestial Seed, dude. Bleh. No. Celestial. These two are so weird. I love it, but they're weird. I thought they weren't on talking terms. He shared a black and white photo of him holding his newborn's hands. So I'm guessing he was there. It's such a music that he composed with the help of Travis Barker and other artists. Now, Travis Barker, obviously, married to Kourtney Kardashian, who's really good friends with Megan Fox. So maybe, maybe they're back together. I don't know. This is Megan Fox and MGK's first baby together. But she shares three other children with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green. On the latest episode of Kylie Kelsey's Not Gonna Lie podcast, posted yesterday, Kelly Clarkson said that some of her now peers, they initially judged her for getting her start on American Idol. And some of those same stars, they ended up serving as coaches on an offshoot competition series, The Voice, that they do together, which is kind of awkward. She said people that were really mean have been coaches, you know what I'm saying, like hated talent shows. And then they ended up being on The Voice. But while these televised talent shows are all the rage now, let's be honest, The three-time Grammy winner, she added that 20 years ago, people were really cruel at first. And I get that. We all said, like, nobody's going to make it off these shows. It's a joke. She said it took the industry kind of by storm, the talent shows. It was a very unlikable thing in the industry concerning the populace. And now there's so many. She also talked with Kylie Kelsey about an awkward run-in she had with Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley while getting ready to film her talk show.

Fallon and my show are right across the hall from each other. Yes. And I ended up running into and I told you a minute ago I met Barkley, but I forgot I also met Hertz and I walked up and they all I happen to be wearing a cowboy sweatshirt that day. I had no idea. Well, I had no idea they were going to be. Sure. And I didn't. And I walked up and they were like, oh, sure you. And I go, no, I voted for you. As if he was on American Idol. I literally told Jalen Hurts I voted for him. I was voting for you. I called all night, Jalen. And I don't know why. And then I looked at him and I said, what? No, I didn't. I was like, no, I was rooting for you. I was, though. Were you? If the Cowboys would have been there, I would not have.

Oh, she sounds just like us. Not knowing any of the right words to use. Temple Roan, we talked about this earlier this week, was on the Call Her Daddy podcast, spilled some major tease, like she's very in love after dating a secret someone for six months. We talked about that, like I said, earlier this week. But when she was asked about her dream collab, she instantly said SZA, which is the correct answer. Turns out SZA's very interested in making this happen, okay? She reposted the clip on her Instagram story and wrote, actually didn't believe this quote when I saw it written until I saw it come out of her mouth just now. Please, we must. I need this to happen because I'm obsessed with both of them, but fans even called SZA the number one Chapel stan, and I would like to do it. She, SZA, has come out saying Chapel makes her want to make new music and art forever. I just, I feel like if they did a collab, it would be the song of the summer.

Zapple. What? Like SZA and Chapel Zappa. Oh, I love that. I don't know. I just feel like I wanted to say something.

Okay, so a Commerce Township family is currently suing the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts and an employee. Now, they are alleging that a staff member at the Florida theme park in 2023 filmed up the skirt of their child. They were at the Hollywood studio section of the park when the incident occurred in the Star Wars Galaxy Edge store. They were looking at toys when the employee approached them and intentionally dropped a different toy. Then he reached his arm under the dress of the minor, holding a camera facing upwards, and took either photographic or videographic images. When the child realized what had happened, they began hysterically crying and screaming, ran to a bathroom. They had a panic attack. The family called Disney Security. Security called the Orange County Sheriff's Office. The employee admitted to several incidents of video voyeurism, including this particular incident. So police took his phone. They found more than 600 images and videos of guests and coworkers on his phone taken during his six years of employment at the parks. Before the incident with the Commerce Township family, this employee was actually caught filming a different parks employee who reported the incident to a supervisor, and they claimed that Disney did not adequately investigate or address that report. The family is claiming the Disney Parks Corporation knew that he was unfit for his position, knew he was a risk to park guests and other employees, and they are now seeking $50,000 in damages.

My name is Natarika Terry LaMille, and my major is general education. Some of the obstacles I have overcame at Bishop State is proving that I can show up consistently.

even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school, but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, but some of those students don't know that the faculty and staff are really there for them. So when they don't know that, I'm that resource that explain and show them that they're here to help us.
