Backstreet boy Nick Carter is being sued by a woman who says he raped her and infected her with several STDs. He's being sued by a woman named Laura Penley. Laura claims she met Nick in 2004. She was just 19 years old. They started hooking up, did so on and off for a couple of weeks. She said she always asked him to wear a condom, but he refused. He told her he was clean. There's no reason. She claims she never had had unprotected sex before meeting Nick. Obviously an important part to this story. Then fast forward to the following year, early 2005. Nick invited her over. She told him she did not want to hook up. He allegedly responded by telling her the only reason she was there was to do just that. Laura claims Nick then picked her up off the ground, threw her onto his bed, and had sex with her despite her telling him no multiple times he did not wear a condom during that alleged assault. Now, Nick's legal team responding here, they say he does.

Taylor Swift's fans seem to think that she's going to be taking on Whitney Houston's iconic role in a remake of the beloved film The Bodyguard. Really? So, Tyra Banks was talking about this on social media yesterday. She said the same thing. And another big reason that people are thinking it might be Taylor is that the movie is reportedly being developed by Sam Rents, who is the director of Taylor's The Aero Store documentary. Interesting. I don't know. I can't see her doing something like that, but I don't know.

But that's a great movie, though, if you've never seen The Bodyguard.

I feel like both of them haven't had a hit since the early 2000s. What's going on? And shouldn't they have, like, artists that people know now or no?
