One Direction was reportedly planning a comeback before Liam Bain's tragic death. All five original members, including Zayn Malik, who quit the band, had been in talks to do one last reunion show before Liam's fatal fall last month. And although the plans have been placed on hold, I cannot talk right now, a source of mine said a concert is still a possibility, but it would take on an entirely different meaning for the group. It would be a tribute, so, to Liam. And the guys were not that close before his death. Like, they kind of all went on to live their separate lives and separate careers. But his death served as a wake-up call for Harry and Niall and Louis and Zayn. They're all, you know, checking in on each other and are closer than they have been in years. So, unfortunately, and this happens, his death kind of brought them all back together. And now we know that Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan is officially making a run for the governor's seat here in Michigan. He said he will run as an independent and not seek the Democratic nomination in 2026, which is interesting considering he is a longtime Democrat. And his thought, the mayor said his approach just didn't fit comfortably inside the dogma of either of the two main political parties.
