Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, with what's trending in the Dirty on the

00:01:41 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 8:

30 and more on what's going on in California right now, the city is burning. Yeah, Paris Hilton,

00:01:47 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 2:

John Goodman, Billy Crystal, Adam Brody, and Leighton Meester. As of this morning, The three fires that are just raging in the Pacific Palisades have led to the evacuation of more than 130,000 residents. Another half a million are without power. The L.A. County Fire Chief also reporting five people have lost their lives. And more than 2,000 structures have been destroyed, including the very famous Pacific Palisades High School. You know that backdrop from a lot of movies, including Freaky Friday. Carrie was filmed there. I mean, just many, many movies. show uh saved by the bell yeah that's right yeah mandy moore's home is gone she wrote on instagram last night honestly i'm in shock and feeling numb for all so many who have lost including my family and just people in general not celebrities but everybody who lives in that area just devastated that everything they have is just in an instant gone listen to this sweet 91 year old man 91 years old talking about the fires it's it's my whole life five minutes ago

00:02:55 - 00:03:15 | Speaker 4:

i was sitting in the car by myself and i just the tears just came over my face so and it's my entire history is is is in the house i'm okay i'll be okay i'm tough and we'll start over even even though i'm 91 years old i'll start over again my entire history is

00:03:15 - 00:03:36 | Speaker 2:

in that house. By the way, the NFL says they are continuing to prepare as if Monday night's playoff game will happen at SoFi Stadium in L.A. However, the league says they do have a backup plan, an alternate site in that State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, in the event that they are forced to move the game because of the wildfires. ESPN's Adam Schefter talking about this last night.

00:03:36 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 5:

There are no plans to move that game, but it's early in the week and that game is still five days away and this is such a potent fire let's see what happens the nfl said today it is monitoring events just like the nba's monitoring events there for nba games in california and the los angeles area as well the nfl will be doing the same exact thing don't some of the players live

00:03:59 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 8:

in the areas that are burning down i there are players yeah that are in the areas yeah and i think honestly the fans you can't ask season ticket holders who just lost their homes but i also think the nfl is interesting that they go on they just like they don't want to ah you know what we'll postpone it they their schedule goes on they've done this with snowstorms they've done it with um other tragedies i think that there was uh another weather event that took place where they moved the game remember detroit got a game the buffalo bills game yeah yeah and i'm

00:04:29 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 9:

wondering though if it's worse to say now we need you to travel to go to this game for the season ticket holders because then it's like not everybody can afford that and i just especially

00:04:39 - 00:04:51 | Speaker 8:

not now in detroit when we got that game with buffalo and we also got a vikings game i think at one point but it might have been a regular season game i think that they just gave the tickets to the fans locally so the arizona fans are probably going to get them lots of other

00:04:51 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 2:

things postponed like truly postponed we'll get into that next hour but there have been a whole

00:04:55 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 8:

a plethora of events that are you know this person but uh brett dummler

In Other Dirty This Morning, actress Jessica Alba is divorcing Cash Warren, her husband of 16 years. And I had heard some whispers that they had recently separated. I don't know why, by the way. I don't know the reason, but both have not been wearing wedding rings as of late. They did spend Thanksgiving together with their three kids in Puerto Vallarta. And then last week, she and Warren also celebrated their youngest child's New Year's Eve birthday together at Universal Studios. But it is over. She desperately tried to keep the spark alive. From what I've been told, it just didn't work. Teddy Swims and his partner, musician, I think, do you pronounce her name, Raish? Raish, right? I don't know how to pronounce her name. My apologies. But they announced they're having a baby. I know. He's going to be a dad.

00:06:14 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 6:

The swimmers have been swimming.

00:06:16 - 00:06:28 | Speaker 7:

They shared that news yesterday on Instagram. She looks so cute. Oh, my God. There's photos of them at the beach. And she has this cute little baby bump in full view. So congratulations to them. That's amazing news.

00:06:28 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 6:

Teddy, Teddy, Teddy. We love him. Our little Teddy.

00:06:32 - 00:06:33 | Speaker 7:

And it is...

00:06:33 - 00:06:37 | Speaker 6:

Hey, it's Teddy Swims, and I'm hanging out with Mojo in the morning. Thank you.

00:06:37 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 7:

Okay, Rach. It is Girl Scout cookie time. We are about to be in full swing in our house. Although Lucy's going to kill me because I keep forgetting to make her link live. I will do that today. Anyway, if you are a fan of two particular cookie flavors, stack up because they are going to be retired after this cookie. season s'mores my favorite no my second favorite so mid depends on which version you get correct s'mores and toast yay cookies the french toast ones they're going away following the 2025 cookie sales much like raspberry rallies were removed following sales in the year before last so if you like s'mores if you like toast yay get them now that's it

00:07:21 - 00:07:34 | Speaker 3:

In this station, why the most popular in the bunch? With the taste of mint, just a dip, and a chocolatey coat of crunch. Hey. The sales I earn will help you learn about business too. I like some olives.

00:07:35 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 7:

Red box. Purple box. Oh, I'm not ready for these cookies to overtake my life.

00:07:43 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 3:

Girl Scout cookies. Pick the one for you. Ow, ow.

00:07:47 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

I've been told by Chelsea that I am not allowed to buy Girl Scout cookies, just make donations.

00:07:53 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 7:

We'll take your donation.

00:07:54 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 6:

We're both watching our weight, taking some shots and jabs and all the rest of that stuff. And plus, I got a gluten allergy, and the gluten-free Girl Scout cookies.

00:08:02 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 3:

They're me.

00:08:03 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 6:

Below.

00:08:03 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

00:08:06 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 6:

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:09:25 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 1:

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, people in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be there you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. we've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years where

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 2:

kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits

00:10:09 - 00:10:18 | Speaker 1:

I would go for a four-year. Ready to make your own Bishop Statement? Visit bishop.edu today and start building your tomorrow at Bishop State Community College.
