844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548, 95th Color. You could be going to see the Red Wings and 21 Pilots. We're going to get a look at what's trending right now in the Dirty on the 30. What's up, Shannon?

00:01:17 - 00:02:33 | Speaker 2:

Do you trust it? Billy McFarlane, the founder of the Fyre Festival. Do you guys remember? Yeah, how did we forget? It was a very controversial Fyre Festival. Well, he told the Today Show that round two is a hundred percent happening. He is not involved in the details. He made that very clear. He's got somebody running and organizing it. Hotel, travel, ticketing companies were brought in this time around. Because he's legally not allowed to. There is a vision. Now, no artists have been announced as being a part of this thing yet, okay? And it just might not be music. There may be other things. As Billy said, they're thinking about, for example, bringing on professional skateboarders to do demonstrations. They're thinking about bringing on MMA champions to teach techniques in the morning before, like, the actual concerts start. A total of 2,000 tickets went on sale yesterday. I saw they ranged in price from about $1,400 to $1.1 million. dollars. Billy said customers can get yacht accommodations and access to artists who will be performing depending on like what level of ticket you buy. And then I guess as it gets closer to the date, there'll be some cheaper $500 tickets available or something like that.

00:02:34 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 8:

Well, the interesting thing too, is that he needs this money. He's two things. He needs the money because he's got to pay restitution. He's got like tens of millions of dollars in restitution that he's got to pay. The other thing is, he hasn't officially been telling people that he's going to the Fyre Festival because it's out of the country and he can't leave the country without...

00:02:52 - 00:02:53 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I can't pronounce where this is.

00:02:54 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 8:

It's somewhere in Mexico or something.

00:02:56 - 00:03:20 | Speaker 7:

Fyre Festival is back, if you can believe it. It's been eight years since this ad premiered featuring bikini-clad models and promising an unforgettable Caribbean experience complete with luxurious accommodations and A-list entertainment. It was basically the exact opposite of everything we were promised. And unforgettable it was. Festival goers who shelled out thousands of dollars were greeted with tense and soggy sandwiches.

00:03:20 - 00:03:24 | Speaker 1:

There was no electricity, there was no showers, there was no bathrooms, there was no running water.

00:03:24 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 7:

The disaster gained worldwide attention, spawning multiple documentaries.

00:03:28 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 1:

An absolute disaster.

00:03:31 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 7:

And landing co-founder Billy McFarland in prison for four years for fraud. I just really should have canceled everything and just stopped lying. After being released from prison in 2022, McFarlane told our Michael Strahan he is not a con man. I put every dollar I had or could find to make this festival happen. Now he says Fyre Festival is happening for real this time. McFarlane posting, I'm sure many people think I'm crazy for doing this again, but I feel I'd be crazy not to do it again. The festival is set to take place on a Mexican island beginning in late May. Tickets now on sale, although no performers have been announced. What makes FIRE so cool is that we are selling it.

00:04:10 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 9:

Ah, yeah, it's good. You know what every liar has said? I'm for real this time. Every liar has used that line. Do you think Ja Rule will do this one? I think we should broadcast live, to be honest with you.

00:04:23 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 5:

I bet it's actually amazing. I bet it's like the redemption. If they follow through. Yeah. It's just a matter of getting, like, they don't have anybody to even announce yet. Well, they're trying to sell it out before announcing anybody.

00:04:35 - 00:04:39 | Speaker 9:

See, that's scary. Didn't they do that last time, too, like that? Yeah. That's risky to me.

00:04:40 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, he's trying to do it again this time because he thinks it's going to be iconic, but it's just a mess. Yeah.

00:04:46 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Let's talk about Tate McRae for a moment. Her so-close-to-what-signed posters are trending on Reddit right now. Some of them look like her actual...

00:05:00 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 6:

autograph. Lydia sent me a screenshot yesterday. Many others look like maybe she had a couple other people signing these posters for her. That's all. It's just very interesting that people are posting their poster and everybody is comparing the autographs, right? And of course, there's a little bit of variation to how fast she's signing or whatever, what writing utensil she's using, but some of them are very, very different. She is getting

00:05:29 - 00:05:46 | Speaker 5:

called out for that fans are calling it secretarial or tape yes okay yeah but here's the thing if i'm on her social team you you put her in front of a stack of anything and have her sit there and sign it on live right yeah stream her music in the background put a download link whatever put her

00:05:46 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 6:

on live and have her sign stuff yeah yeah uh nbc nightly news anchor lester holt announced he is leaving he made that announcement yesterday said he's going to be leaving the show the broadcast at the start of the summer after more than 10 years. Now, the good news is, if you are a Lester fan, he is not leaving the network. He will continue hosting Dateline on Friday nights. NBC News has not yet said who is going to replace him over at NBC Nightly News.

00:06:12 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 8:

Do you see they're having problems, too? They just fired everybody over at MSNBC.

00:06:16 - 00:06:21 | Speaker 6:

Oh, did they? Joy Reid, she up on her. Is Brian Williams still there?

00:06:22 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 8:

He does, like, fill-in things and does some stuff at night, but I think that he's just, like, a part-time person. person okay but i think this lester holt thing is not him retiring i think this is they're having some financial issues at uh maybe he's taking a little a little buyout

00:06:36 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 6:

yeah or something yeah and lastly some of your favorite starbucks beverages just might be getting retired next week in an effort to boost sales and prioritize customers the new ceo of starbucks brian nickel is making some changes including thinning out the menu and getting rid of some of what he calls the less popular beverages he actually wants to reduce the menu by 30 to simplify it and align with the company's core identity so starting march 4th a selection of the quote-unquote less popular beverages including several frappuccinos are going bye-bye and the drinks were being are cut for one of three reasons either they're just not purchased a lot they're too complex to make or they're similar to other beverages on the menu okay so um the espresso frappuccino cafe vanilla frappuccino java java chip frappuccino the white chocolate mocha frappuccino a lot of the frappuccinos caramel ribbon cream crunch cream the double chocolatey chip the chocolate cookie crumble the white chocolate cream they're all gone the white hot chocolate gone the royal english breakfast latte gone iced matcha lemonade gone and the Honey Almond Milk Flat White, which actually I really like.

00:07:48 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, same. I'm like very shocked that that one is gone.

00:07:52 - 00:08:16 | Speaker 6:

Now, here's the thing. New drinks are coming. Starbucks said it has plans to bring back the beloved lavender beverages. And they're also going to introduce a new iced cherry chai and a jalapeno chicken pocket in the spring. So, something's going, something's coming. Their lavender flat white was really good.
