Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30. All right, Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:01:21 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 4:

Well, the former CEO of Abercrombie & Fit, his name is Mike Jeffries, He got arrested and indicted yesterday for engaging in sex trafficking and prostitution. This is a huge story today.

00:01:37 - 00:01:46 | Speaker 9:

This morning, former Abercrombie & Fitch chief executive Mike Jeffries is free on a $10 million bond charged with coercing aspiring male models into sex acts.

00:01:46 - 00:02:01 | Speaker 1:

To anyone who thinks they can exploit and coerce others by using the so-called casting couch system, this case should serve as a warning. Prepare to trade that couch for a bed in federal prison.

00:02:02 - 00:02:23 | Speaker 9:

Jeffries allegedly used his power as CEO to lure men to what prosecutors call sex events with the promise of modeling opportunities for the clothing brand that did not exist. Fifteen men have come forward claiming they were forced to sign non-disclosure agreements, wear costumes, and perform explicit sex acts for money. Also charged with the 80-year-old Jeffries, his partner and a recruiter.

00:02:23 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 1:

The defendants pressured the men to consume alcohol, Viagra, and muscle relaxants known as poppers during the sex events.

00:02:33 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 9:

One former model says he was flown from Los Angeles to a party at Jeffries' estate on Long Island, New York in 2011.

00:02:39 - 00:03:01 | Speaker 7:

I was told that there could be some things that were not your normal interview. However, this is your chance. I walked into a scene that would make most people extremely uncomfortable.

00:03:01 - 00:03:09 | Speaker 6:

Why is it this, and I know this sounds the same, but why is it that all these guys, like this guy, I just looked at what this Jeffries guy's look, he looks like he's a creepy guy.

00:03:09 - 00:03:38 | Speaker 4:

He's got creepy eyes. I was going to say, obviously, we shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but he does. This is not, unfortunately, an uncommon story. I mean, we're hearing it so much right now with Diddy. We heard it with Harvey Weinstein, where I can further your career. Come and hang out with me. Almost like people with power abusing. This is time and time and time. This is so common, unfortunately.

00:03:38 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 6:

The craziest thing, though, is that he was bringing people in there and doing this and then not giving them the jobs. These guys all were told, hey, you do this.

00:03:49 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 4:

Not that that would make it better. Right. That's like a common thread. That's like what the Me Too movement was about. Yeah. Yeah. Just a terrible story. And by the way, 16 counts right now. I guarantee that number doubles, triples over the next couple of months.

00:04:02 - 00:04:05 | Speaker 6:

I know he's not been part of Abercrombie for some time now.

00:04:05 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 4:

Since 2014.

00:04:06 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 6:

But how do you revive something after this? I know that he's not part of it now, but he was part of it then. Like, do people look at this and does it hurt the brand, I wonder? No, I don't think so. You don't think so? I don't think so either.

00:04:18 - 00:04:31 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, I mean, he's been out for a decade. They have done a lot of work on that brand with inclusivity and... Diversity. Yeah, they've done a really good job, I think.

00:04:31 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 6:

But didn't some of the movies and the movie companies take a huge hit when the Harvey Weinstein came about, like where those movies became like these epic movies, became bad movies to watch.

00:04:42 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 5:

I don't know the Amber Crombie customer base if they like really care about this. You know what I'm saying? I don't know how long this will be a huge news thing.

00:04:50 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

Speaking of Diddy, his kids released a joint statement and I did want to read that for you. They posted a family photo and wrote, This past month has devastated our family.

00:05:00 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 3:

Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold on to the truth knowing it will prevail and nothing will break the strength of our family. We miss you and love you, Dad. In related dirty, Jennifer Lopez's ex-husband, you guys remember Ohani Noah? Yeah. He is blaming Diddy for their divorce. They were only married, I don't even know if they made it a year. It was like 97, 98.

00:05:31 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 2:

Wasn't that? I think he's a restaurant guy, if I remember correctly.

00:05:35 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 3:

Look at J-Lo in 97. Yeah, he did an interview about their breakup. And he explains that when Sony came in to the picture and started paying her millions upon millions of dollars, there was Diddy, who was going to be one of the producers of several songs on her first album, on the 6. And he said that's where the cheating, the lies, the separation started. Because at the time, he was spending most of his days in L.A. opening his restaurant. She was flying back and forth between Miami and New York working on the album. And he said that that was the crack that started it all. He also claimed that their divorce marred his career and sabotaged his chance at several jobs. And he said, Diddy absolutely had something to do with that. Are we surprised? No. I'm excited. Cardi B had a message for the alleged prankster who sent child protective services to her home. She spoke about what she described as a prank call, sent CPS to her home at about 11 p.m. to check on all three of her kids. She went on Instagram live from the hospital. I don't know what she's been recovering from since Saturday, but she's been in the hospital since Saturday for some.

00:06:44 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 1:

take the services to come to my house, not my house, my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children are sleeping because there's an anonymous call that there's been going on that my kids have been getting abused and beaten. Are you dumb?

00:07:03 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, obviously she's saying that is absolutely not true. And lastly, Billie Eilish taken to her Instagram stories to show up on nasty leg bruise that she sustained And after tripping and falling on some steps as she left the stage during her show at Madison Square Garden on Friday, yesterday she re-shared a video of the fall. And the fall was captioned, Billy falling down the stairs at Madison Square Garden. She followed it up with this photo of this, like, humongous purple bruise on her thigh. Ouch. That's a big ouch. That show is good. Hey, for all of today's Dirty, you can catch up on the podcasts on the free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com.
