called out in court for allegedly lying in the middle of the last presidential debate, this time about the Central Park Five. Now, the five men who were wrongly accused of a violent series of attacks back in the 80s in Central Park are now suing Donald Trump for something he said with that debate with kamala kamala harris in the debate harris brought up donald trump calling for the execution of the central park five by getting a full page ad in multiple newspapers papers including the new york times after the men had been arrested and trump responded by saying

this they're destroying our country and they come up with things like what she just said going back many many years when a lot of people including mayor bloomberg agreed with me on the central park five they admitted they said they pled guilty and i said well if they pled guilty they badly hurt a person killed a person ultimately and if they pled guilty then they pled we're not guilty but this is a person that has to stretch back years 40 50 years ago

because there's nothing now here's where the central park five have a problem first nobody was killed in the attack second and more importantly they never pled guilty they always pled not guilty and they were fully exonerated so they're now suing trump for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress resale tickets for the world series opener at Dodger Stadium against the Yankees started at, are you ready for this, over $1,300 a ticket. Sales for games three through five that will take place in New York are 40% higher than for games one, two, six, and seven in LA. This is about double the $685 that tickets went for last year for the Texas Rangers-Arizona Diamondbacks matchup in the highest ball time.

It's understandable. You got the two teams from the biggest cities on the coast. You got LA versus New York. This is the dream matchup. Is it? Yeah, it is.

I don't know anything about basketball or baseball. I say that every time. Are these like, for me, hockey had the original six. Are these like original teams?

Well, the LA, first of all, the Dodgers used to be in New York. They used to be the Brooklyn Dodgers. Okay. You know, Jackie Robinson. But this is like the matchup of matchups. You've got the two highest priced teams in the sport with the highest priced players now in the World Series. And I think that this is what Major League Baseball probably has been dreaming of.

They don't have salary caps, right?

I don't know. They do have, yes, they do have a form of like where you can, you have to pay like if you go over a certain amount. But I think it's kind of like the NBA where it's kind of as shaky as can be. Like, you can pretty much pay these guys whatever the hell they want to get paid.

This is about to be an incredible series. Starts Friday. We talked about Shohei Ohtani. He has the international appeal. So everybody around the world wants to see this. I'm going for the Yankees, though. Although I would love to see Shohei get a ring. I think it would just be an incredible story to cap an incredible year. I went to Dodgers.

Justin Bieber posted to his Instagram stories yesterday addressing Liam Payne's passing by sharing a video of all of the vigils his fans were holding in Liam's honors. the caption read rest easy Liam and it had this voiceover right that was very encouraging to fans and had messages like mourn his loss no matter if they met him or not or remember you're allowed to grieve as a fan you're allowed to love somebody you've never met you're allowed to admire someone for their art you're allowed to cry to break to feel like part of you is gone which I don't feel like is always a message that we get from other artists so I thought that was really sweet he's definitely going through something right now to reach out to another fan base

the guy everybody believes was taken advantage of by Diddy and all of his crew so I'm waiting for him to come out and do the speaking he's got to come out and and uh and his family needs to come out and talk about uh him because I feel bad for the poor guy you think he will uh I really hope so I mean I think that I think that uh Justin Bieber is you know he's found God and I think that he's kind of pulled himself away from the industry a little bit it would be interesting right now if uh if he were to come out and talk about how horrible it was to be a child coming up

in this game i don't think we ever treat people the same or as adults once they come out and say this happens and i think macaulay calkin is like a great example of that yeah i don't think he wants the treatment he'd receive afterwards for admitting to those things and discussing them admitting that they happened he had obviously no wrong not admitting fault admitting that they occurred uh speaking of diddy he's saying that he's the victim here so buckle up ladies and gentlemen uh he's the victim of pure character assassination hello good morning with t.i rick

Okay, where was I in this? Peer character assassination by witnesses and their attorneys in his federal criminal case. And because of this, he's not going to get a fair trial. New legal documents were released where Diddy is saying he has a constitutional right to a fair trial, but he's not going to get one because of his detractors, a.k.a. his multiple accusers and their lawyers, if they don't stop talking to reporters. The one thing that Diddy is mentioning in these new docs is that the witnesses' attorneys need to shut up, citing a rule that requires lawyers involved in criminal matters to refrain from making unauthorized statements related to the character or reputation of the accused, saying that it can lead to an unfair trial and they might be setting him up to lose no matter what.
