So FIFA has revealed the star-studded lineup for the World Cup closing ceremony that's happening this weekend, July 19th, at MetLife Stadium. Jennifer Hudson, we love her, We're going to be performing a very special rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner right before kickoff. And then former Pussycat doll Nicole Scherzinger, Laura Posini, Robbie Williams, and streamer iShowSpeed are all going to be performing during the pre-match celebration. Tom Cruise is going to be making some sort of special appearance. And then the halftime show, of course, will feature BTS, Justin Bieber, Madonna, Shakira. Real quick, USA Basketball has named Detroit Pistons head coach J.B. Bickerstaff as an assistant coach for Team USA. So big congrats to him this morning. Legendary pilot Captain Sully Sullenberger revealing he has Alzheimer's disease.

He was the hero who somehow landed a passenger plane on the Hudson River, saving everyone on board after a bird strike took out the engines. Captain Chesley Sullenberger's bravery would later be portrayed on the big screen by Tom Hanks.

This is the captain. Brace for impact.

But now, the pilot nicknamed Sully, whose bravery inspired the world, is on a new mission, sharing his Alzheimer's diagnosis. Sullenberger, now 75, says the disease is in its early stages. saying it is my hope that by sharing this other families living in the shadows with this disease will feel they too can step forward. Courage can be contagious. More than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's dementia and while there are treatment options to delay or manage symptoms

there is no cure. Although memory problems can be found in various types of dementia short-term memory loss is the defining symptom of Alzheimer's disease. The concern is when it's disruptive and when it's progressive and when it's persistent. Those are the key things that you look for when we're talking to patients about their symptoms.

There is encouraging news in the field of research. Just yesterday, researchers announced a promising experimental drug that may help slow early stage Alzheimer's and cognitive decline by lowering levels of a brain protein called tau. It works by targeting the mechanism that normally produces tau in the body. This is the first study. I think we have a really encouraging signal. Hope is what Captain Sully is focusing on, saying, though it may impact my memory of the past, this diagnosis will not prevent me from looking forward to and appreciating our future.

Yeah, sad. It's a horrible disease. Anybody that has family that is dealing with that or dealt with that is just awful. Sully was amazing. I mean, that movie was perfect.

I don't think I've seen the movie with Tom Hanks.

Oh, my God, it was an amazing movie. Was it? You should watch it. I didn't put it on my thing. You never saw Sully? Isn't it just called Sully? I was more of a flight guy. Well, I've never seen Sully. Sully was a much better pilot than Denzel was. No, Denzel did it while he was drunk. No, no. And still saving people. Sully saved their ass on the water. Denzel would have. He was drunk and still saved the people. He would have landed and gone to the bar. But go watch that movie. Both of you guys watched that movie.

I literally just put it on my list.

And knowing it's a true story is amazing.

Yeah, yeah. And lastly, imagine getting your brand new license plate in the mail, pulling it out and realizing it is naughty. That just happened to a Florida woman. I didn't know I was getting a plate.

When Nancy Delostritto went to collect her mail, she got quite the surprise, a new license plate with her vehicle registration renewal.

And I looked at it and I said, I don't think so.

The plate reads S-Q-Z-A-5-5, but from a distance, those 5-5s can be read as S's. Well, you get the picture. Squeeze blank.

I don't think a woman that lives in a senior community that's going to be 77 years old next month will be driving around with what this plate has to say.

The plate's become the talk around her retirement community, especially the men. We were with her when she showed it to one of her 89-year-old neighbors.

And this is what I received from the DMV for my new license plate. That's good for 10 years.
