That's what made me sad. Val Kilmer, who played, God, he's been in everything. Doc Holliday in Tombstone. He was just in Top Gun Maverick. He channeled Jim Morrison in The Doors. Bruce Wayne in Batman Forever.

I see without seeing. To me, darkness is as clear as daylight.

Died yesterday at the age of 65 in L.A. His daughter said it was pneumonia that took him. But he had been battling throat cancer for several years, was very open about that journey and the fact that he needed a trach. In fact, I pulled an interview that he did with Good Morning America back in 2021.

I was going to diagnose the throat cancer, which was healed very quickly. This is a phytoidomy to help his brain.

Obviously talking with the trach there. He lived, I mean, he really shied away from Hollywood, aside from doing Top Gun Maverick, but lived on a quiet ranch in New Mexico and spent his time painting and helping to oversee some theater programs for high school students who were really interested in, like, Shakespeare.

Very cool.

So, yeah, 65 years old, so young.

A lot of people thought that if he didn't get the throat cancer because of that whole movie, The Doors, that he did, he would have probably been even a bigger actor than some of the actors that we see out there that are the biggest A in the list actors, because he was kind of a heartthrob at one point. Oh, God, yeah. Not a great Batman, though. Agreed. That was a good Batman movie. One of my least favorite Batmans. Ben Affleck is the worst. What about Christian Bale? Christian Bale's the best. Oh, Christian Bale's my favorite. Are you kidding me? I dreamt about him. The worst is Ben Affleck, then right after Ben Affleck is probably Val Kilmer and then Michael Keaton. What about George Clooney is worse than maybe Val Kilmer. He was more Bruce Wayne, though. I feel like that's why he was him. I like Robert Pattinson, though.

Big congrats to Jason and Kylie Kelsey. They welcomed their fourth daughter this week. Four girls. He is absolutely a girl dad. Kylie announcing the birth of Finley, Finn, and Kelsey on Instagram last night. She joins big sisters Wyatt, Elliot, and Bennett. The cutest girl names ever. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said yesterday that she has directed federal prosecutors to seek the death penalty against Luigi Mangione, that guy accused of gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York City a couple of months ago. For what it's worth, he has pleaded not guilty to the state indictment that he's faced. and has not yet entered a plea to the federal charges that he's facing. But still, the death penalty is what they're looking at for him.

Because he went up and shot a man directly. But I'm saying, why not just throw him in jail for life? Why are they going straight for the death penalty? I don't know. I mean, people get, not saying people get murdered every day, but like they don't seek the death penalty for all these murders. Why this one?

This is pretty amazing that, do you know that in California, They're talking about making a law that protects the insurance company or protects you from the insurance companies and using his name as the law. Really? Usually when you do a law and you name it after somebody, it's because the person, you know, did something that was like great. They're saying this guy murder was a great act in doing that.

They want to make an example out of him. That's why they don't want any copycats.

Well, it's interesting. They say his legal defense fund is huge because of all the people that sympathize with him are all sending him money.

Chris and Cal Larry sharing the name of the athlete that she had a casual fling with. People were very invested in trying to figure out who it was. It was former NHL player Nate Thompson. This was a big secret that she teased a couple of months ago on Bunny XO's podcast.

I never said his name or anything, but TikTok detectives sort of pieced it together. And I don't even care. I said his name on tour. I really think he's such a great guy. So that's not one where I'm like, I don't want anyone to know. A really amazing guy. He is an ex hockey player. He's been retired for a couple of years now. He's a dad. He's just he is someone who has done a lot of work on himself. And we really connected on such a deep level.

As you can tell by her past tense, they're not together anymore. Nate commenting after she dropped his name saying he has nothing bad to say about her, even though it would never have worked out. He didn't want to call her his girlfriend. And Jen, I know that is kind of like actually a bad thing after he said he had nothing bad to say about her, but then said, I would never call her my girlfriend. I don't know. And lastly, Gen Z professionals are using Gmail to determine their co-workers ages. This makes me feel very old. And I'm going to explain to you how this is happening. So this started on Reddit and somebody explained that their Gen Z co-worker called them out for using their first and last name at gmail.com.

Really?

And this makes you old because it means that you got that email address when your first and last name were actually available on Gmail, which is when it first started. So if you have that, which I do with my middle initial and some dots in there, I'm not going to get away my personal email address, but it just means that you are old. And other people were trying to make this guy feel better by going, I'm earthlink.net old, or I still use my AOL email, which I know Mojo still has an AOL account.

I have it only for all my junk mail. What do you put on your resume if you don't have your first and last name? a creative one I don't know what this guy's like it's a badge of honor at this point
