this story we talked about this briefly in one of the earlier dirties yesterday and then i saw it like kind of spinning out of control yesterday evening and and uh this jennifer garner and ben Affleck? Are they getting back together? She is 1 million percent not interested in rekindling her relationship with her ex-husband. I know I saw the photo of them playing paintball and he was like giving her a hug. No, they are like strictly they have friend zoned each other. And I know that Ben apparently has been telling everybody who will listen that he is open to the idea of getting

back together, that feeling is very much not mutual. Again, Jen Garner has been dating like a regular old businessman, John Miller, since 2018. She is happy. Her head is not anywhere near the idea of rekindling with Ben Affleck. They have a great co-parenting relationship, and that is where things stand at the moment. So whether or not Ben is telling people he wants another chance with the mother of his children it's just it is it's not going to happen travis kelsey confirming he is coming back for the 2025 nfl season said he is hungry for redemption and ready to rewrite the narrative this is from this week's episode of the new heights the biggest

thing is that i love playing the game of football that's a good reason i i love playing i still feel like i could play it at a high level um and possibly at a higher level than i did last year I don't think it was my best outing. You know, I think I let my guys down in a lot more moments than I helped them. I want to give it a good run. I got a bad taste in my mouth on how I ended the year and how well I was playing and, you know, how accountable I was for the people around me. And I love so many people in Kansas City, both in that facility, in the community. And it's home for me now. And, you know, I don't want to leave that life yet.

I love that, and I respect that. And a game as brutal as football where any play could be your last play, and we've seen that so many times play out on the field, it's every athlete's dream to go out on your own terms. And you never want to leave the field feeling as though you didn't give it your all.

So Celine Dion, the night before last, was at that simulator golf league that Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have. It's huge ratings for ESPN. Yes.

No, but why was she there?

Her sons are huge golfers, and she was a huge golfer. She golfed a ton. And so they brought her on ESPN during the coverage, and they asked her some questions. They asked how she's doing, but then they also asked her what song of hers, and she was very clever with the song, most resembles her golf game.

I was wondering, there was a video of Tiger going viral. It was all over my For You page yesterday of him, like, demanding a chicken strip from his son. I'm guessing it's from the things. Gotcha. It's really popular.

The crowds that show up for this thing are unbelievable. And the ratings have been spectacular. And the commissioner of it, you've met him in our studio, Jason Langwell, who used to put on the Rock Financial Tournament that we would go and broadcast from as the commissioner of this league.

Is this a similar league to when tennis does doubles and they're mic'd up and it's more conversational and silly? Yes, they're having fun. Yeah, okay. I really like that kind of stuff.

And everybody on the sidelines that are watching this thing are all drinking and getting drunk.

Yeah, yeah. And lastly, I saw this video all over social media yesterday. the horses that were just running loose on the highway near Byron Center. This was yesterday morning around 730. The Kent County Sheriff's Office said what happened was the horses got out of a boarding facility and were literally just running down the highway.

I mean, on M6 this morning, you may have seen something out of the.

extraordinary. Around 15 horses were loose on the freeway in the area of Byron Center Avenue. This was around 7 30 this morning. Take a look and you can see it there. The Kent County Sheriff's Office says the horses have now been wrangled. Deputies say the horses came from a boarding facility in the area of Wilson Avenue and 76th Street but it's unclear how they got out. We're working to get more information. We'll have an update for you coming up tonight on News 8 at four or five. It was nine

deputies, MSP troopers and animal control and several just regular people had to go out and help them get all of these horses back into a trailer and back to their facility safely. But the visual of it...
