All right, we're uninterrupted. We got War of the Roses coming up here in just a little bit. Shannon's got the dirty for us now.

So we talked about this yesterday, and now a continuation of this story. A second audio clip has been released of ESPN host Shannon Sharp allegedly threatening to choke his ex-girlfriend, the same girl who was accusing him of rape and sexual assault and misconduct. Tony Busby is the attorney for the accuser, has released this phone conversation between his client and Shannon.

and I'm getting choked, so I guess we're going.

I might choke you in public. Big black guy chose small white woman.

It's not a good look, Shannon.

Not a good look that you did what you did to me.

Okay, well.

Well, what?

So here are the details behind this. Tony Busby says his client was 19 years old at the time of that alleged recording. Shannon Sharp was in his 50s and he just said he was an abusive boyfriend the entire time that this relationship was happening. Shannon Sharp's attorney's claims these audio clips are misleading because they are undated, out of context, and edited. But that's the latest development in that story.

Is that still a threat what he said at the end of the day no matter what?

You know what? I didn't know she was 19. She was 19 years old, this girl?

I guess at that time. At that time. She's 21 now.

She's 21.

I don't know what her age is now.

But I'll choke you in public as a threat.

Yeah.

Like, how can you take that out of context or say it was edited? What was the fight over?

What were they fighting about? I have no idea.

I don't see it like that. Obviously, when you put it on paper or you're... I feel like, again, the context is the biggest thing. My mama then told me, hell of a times I'll kill you or I'll smack the hell out of you. Like, that's how some people talk. I don't think he actually choked her. Just her reaction, too, is, okay, Shannon. Unless she's scared.

Does she say that she was choked by him? Or does she say that he's just verbally threatened, too?

I don't know the answer to that question. I don't know. Do we know?

But that's another thing. Is there a reason why we don't seek criminal charges in these instances?

How do you prove it criminally?

Well, I'm saying, is there a reason why we're... I mean, I think if if if I'm in a situation where I've been sexually assaulted, I don't know if there was a rape allegation that was in there as well. But like seek actual justice, not just the check, because in my mind, it's like, well, what are we doing?

But if you don't have the evidence that it happened, which a lot of these cases don't, because women are too scared to go get the evidence taken. She got audio from two years ago. That's it's a lot easier to record a phone screening than to go to a hospital and get a rape kit done. and i think that when we're talking about these situations people are saying to themselves it'll get better or they get loved bombed after this and they say oh it's

fine he's sorry or whatever it is and people don't you have a a time frame and a window to

collect that evidence but wasn't she wasn't the whole thing though that this was uh never going to come out because she was asking him for a million she was asking him for a no 50 million and he he said no i'll give you 10 million to keep this quiet and she goes that's not enough if you are i mean i would hope that she would have you know not choose chosen the money over the fact that she wanted justice to be done with this guy. That's a lot. I mean, that's crazy, though. $50 million versus $10 million and they're fighting over money. If the guy is a bad guy, let's keep him off the streets. Otherwise, let's let it go to a court of law.

Wow. Basically, what the story gets interesting was with like three days out of the event, we had the first house that was all set up at, ready to go, had a plumbing issue and flooded in the backyard. And then trying to move essentially, you know, upwards of $15,000 of sound equipment and all this stuff to another house. And then 24 hours out, we had to switch it. And then there was a bit of a kickback from the school. So we didn't really have the event confirmed until about, I want to say, 16 hours out.

This guy sounds like they throw the kind of parties that Luke's fraternity throws.

This thing was a big mess. They got slapped, like you heard, with some citations. And I guess Alex and Drew from the Chainsmokers are now paying all of the citations that ASU slapped them with for having this huge party.
