Well, Timothy Salome totally surprised fans by appearing at his own lookalike contest in New York City yesterday afternoon. He was surrounded by bodyguards as he took photos with his lookalikes, some of whom were dressed like in everyday attire, but others dressed as characters from his movies like Wonka and Dune. Some of these guys, I mean, really looked just like him. It was nuts. But the organizers ended up being given a $500 fine for holding an unpermitted costume contest in Washington Park. I think the prize was only like 50 bucks or something, but there were so many people there. Somebody got arrested, I saw, for getting unruly over this costume contest or over this lookalike contest. My favorite was that they had one of those giant checks for $50. Yeah. It was so dumb. So dumb.
