Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:20 - 00:01:22 | Speaker 5:

Oh my gosh. Shannon, what do you got in this hour's Dirty on the 30?

00:01:22 - 00:02:13 | Speaker 6:

So this Tracy Morgan story had to be wheelchaired at a Madison Square Garden during the Knicks game last night. He's a huge, huge Knicks fan. He was vomiting on the floor while sitting courtside. There's photographic and video evidence of this happening, unfortunately, for him. But during the third quarter of the game against the Miami Heat, a 10-minute pause was taken in order to clean the barf off the floor. And the cause of the delay was Tracy Morgan, who had puked all over the hardwood. So, of course, you know, there's fan video of this because people see something happening around him and they all get out their phones. But was wheelchaired out of the arena, trying to stop a nosebleed as well with a towel. So I don't know. Like, I hope he's okay. St. Patrick's Day got him. Either that or he got this norovirus that's going around and threw up so hard at me to know his nosebleed.

00:02:13 - 00:02:38 | Speaker 5:

He's in bad shape. Really? Yeah, I think New York Post posted just a little bit ago because of his kidney issues or whatever. Did he have a stroke? Well, he had a stroke, yeah, not that long ago. And he also, I think, has been dealing with some kind of diet. Which organ of yours do you need to do dialysis and things like that? Your kidneys. Is it your kidney? Yeah, I think he's got some issues.

00:02:38 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 6:

Ugh.

00:02:39 - 00:02:39 | Speaker 5:

Wow.

00:02:39 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 6:

Universal Music Group issued its first official court response to Drake. who is suing the label for defamation as it relates to distributing and promoting Kendrick's Not Like Us. So attorneys for UMG filed this motion to dismiss his lawsuit yesterday morning, and they called, now remember, UMG is Drake's label as well. They called Drake's allegations meritless and stressed that public embarrassment is the real reason he's choosing to sue here, not anything having to do with UMG. So UMG's lawyers wrote, plaintiff, Drake, one of the most successful recording artists of all time, lost a rap battle that he provoked and in which he willingly participated. Instead of accepting the loss, like the unbothered rap artist he often claims to be, he has soon his own record label in a misguided attempt to solve his wounds. UMG went on to argue that Drake issued his own statements toward Kendrick during the battle, including accusations that he's physically abusive to his partner, said some things about his business partner, being the dad to certain kids. However, his insults and allegations didn't engage the public like Hendrix did. And so basically they're saying, this is him taking his ball and going home. And that's why this lawsuit is here.

My favorite new TikTok and Reels trend that I keep seeing it coming up in my algorithms are all these girls that are getting married dancing to this song with their bridesmaids and this guy pops on and goes, white people ruining everything for us. Have you seen it? It is so great.

00:04:24 - 00:04:36 | Speaker 6:

The big winners at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in LA last night. Cannot get enough of Benson Boone and Beautiful Things was named Song of the Year.

00:04:36 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 2:

This is a crazy job. it is not what I was expecting to do with my life and every day is a new adventure but I think something that is really really really really important for me in my career is having someone that believes in me and from the very beginning of doing radio interviews and promo and coming to radio stations Tom Pullman has believed in me and iHeart has believed in me and they have

00:05:00 - 00:05:06 | Speaker 7:

played my music and streamed my songs and what about tony travato truly um

00:05:06 - 00:05:19 | Speaker 6:

it is incredible to feel believed in tom gets a lot of praise he should because he helps a lot of artists out but tony travato right that guy is always the first to play any music

00:05:19 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 4:

also taking home trophies gracie abrams is a jelly roll sabrina carpenter glorilla mariah Carrie, one of three powerhouse women who won honorary awards last night. 00:05:42 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 3:

for honoring the truth I've fought for in my music and to every artist who's ever been told they're different, complicated or too much. Please never change. I loved

00:05:54 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 6:

seeing our Our fellow iHeart jocks, like some of the music jocks, get airtime last night. I think it's really cool. They featured jocks from Memphis, Dallas, some of the New York ones. That is very cool. Some of the midday hosts and some of the afternoon hosts and stuff. So it wasn't just all, let's put Ryan Seacrest. Celebrity presenters. I love that. Elvis Duran on there. It was cool.

00:06:17 - 00:06:34 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. By the way, Billie Eilish's Hit Me Hard and Soft named Album of the Year. It was nominated for a Grammy in that same category, lost to Beyonce's Cowboy Carter. So a big, big honor for her last night, and she was performing as well. And, oh, this is just a performance. Oh, what'd you perform?

00:06:35 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 6:

Let's see. Gracie Abrams was so excited to have her present her with the award last night. Although she kind of, it was weird, because she's like, I grew up to you, Billie. I'm like, oh, wait a second, aren't you guys, like, the same age?

00:06:53 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but Millie's been famous since she was 15.

00:06:56 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 6:

I know, but when you say that, it makes you feel like you're, like, ancient, you know?

00:07:00 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 4:

And lastly, a quick update on that Pontiac mom who's currently in jail for leaving her kids in that filthy home by themselves for years and years. She is now being accused of calling their caregiver repeatedly despite being told not to do that. So Oakland County Prosecutor Karen McDonald has asked to have Kelly Bryant, that's mom's name, Kelly Bryant's communication privileges revoked because of this. I guess she had called the caregiver 10 times over a four-day period to talk to the kids in an attempt to discuss her criminal case, which is a big no-no. Interesting that she left them alone for years, but all of a sudden, yeah, wants to get into contact with them. Now she, yeah. And this is important because this order is in place. Like, they never want to shut off communication between a parent and a child unless the child, in this case children, are the victims. So this was put in place to protect them. So if the judge does revoke her communication privileges, she will no longer have access to phones or tablets in jail. She's going to be able to, unable to video call or call anybody from jail. So she's done. She's done. To catch up on all of today's Dirty, check out the podcast by searching Mojo in the Morning in the totally free iHeartRadio app.

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:09:16 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 1:

My name is Patrick Pettway, and I am getting my Associates of Science and General Education with an emphasis in business administration. To me, it was a no-brainer. When you go out here and you're looking for funding to go back to college as a 40-year-old man, I got six people in my household. The extra money just doesn't just grow out of trees. for me to be able to be accepted through FAFSA and to have Bishop State pay for all of my tuition. Not only that, but the curriculums, you know, they make it so easy to understand on their website. Like I said, I'm a 40-year-old man, so I don't use technology too much, but it was very understandable where I needed to go. It was extremely fast. These past two years, things have just moved in a total different type of way. It's like its own moving entity to see things.

00:10:00 - 00:10:01 | Speaker 2:

manifest the way that they do.
