this morning when we came in, young thug released from prison late last night. Yeah, thugger, thugger. He was given time served for five of the years he was supposed to serve, plus 15 years on probation. There is also a backloaded 20-year prison sentence here that could kick in after probation, but he's only going to have to serve that time behind And bars if he doesn't successfully complete his probation term. So he just has to be good. And do you guys remember what happened here with him? Rico. Yeah, Rico. So back in 2022, Young Thug was charged alongside. It was like two dozen people under Georgia's sprawling Rico Act. And prosecutors basically accused him of leading a gang that had committed a murder and a bunch of violent crimes. And he has always said, he has always maintained he was not the leader of this gang. that YSL, is that what it was?

What is the RICO thing? What is that?

It's a lot of, yes, it's a lot of stuff involved. Drugs, attempted murder. They're saying, like Shannon said, that he was a leader, not just a part,

but a leader in this YSL gang. RICO is short for Rocketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.

It's like mafia and mobs and gangs and stuff, right?

Yeah, and the craziest thing about this one, as you're playing this song, a lot of the outside of them saying it, excuse me, them saying they had informants and all of that stuff, They alluded to him admitting certain crimes through his lyrics.
