Well, the U.S. men's national team, talking about the World Cup, is getting one of its top players back just in time for tonight's 8 o'clock game.

This morning, questions being raised after word that President Trump asked FIFA to review the red card penalty given to U.S. men's soccer star, Valerian Balogun. Wow. Last week, this controversial foul on a Bosnian player led to Balogun receiving the red card. He was ejected and was suspended from the next game, which is tonight against Belgium.

This doesn't be, for me, the criteria of the red card.

Many experts were quick to call the red card undeserved, but FIFA insisted teams cannot appeal red cards. Presidents, however, apparently can. Sources say President Trump called FIFA President Gianni Infantino and asked him to review the suspension. And yesterday, the organization made the surprise announcement, saying it would allow Balligan, the top U.S. goal scorer, to play tonight, saying his red card would now be suspended for a probationary period of one year. President Trump responding, thank you to FIFA for doing what was right and reversing a great injustice. Infantino has described Trump as a friend and last year awarded him the first ever FIFA Peace Prize.

This is truly one of the great honors of my life.

Balligan's teammates are relieved.

Obviously, for us, it gives us a boost. We're really excited.

But other teams outraged by FIFA's decision. It's a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad decision. Not good for the sport. As for Belgium, who will now have to defend against Balogun tonight. Their coach is mocking the decision, invoking April Fool's Day, saying, I didn't know that at the World Cup, the 5th of July is actually the 1st of April. But the red card reversal is not unprecedented. Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was given a red card just before the World Cup, which would have sidelined him for the start of the tournament. But FIFA intervened, allowing him to serve the suspension at a later date.

You go to games to watch the players. and when you kick players out of games i've seen this a lot in the nba where they'll give a couple technicals to a player and eject them in the first half of the game if you're a fan that bought those tickets for a lot of money you want to see the players on the field now if it's a egregious thing you know an act you know the guy you know intentionally does it but if it's marginal you can't red card a guy like that and i don't know soccer at all but i do know the other sports And in basketball, there is nothing worse than when you go to a game. And I think this happened. I bought tickets to go watch Pistons play Denver. And what's the guy's name? Jokic. Jokic got kicked out of the game in like the second quarter. And I'm like, I didn't pay for these tickets to not see Jokic out on the court.

This is like 30 times of a larger moment than that. This is the World Cup. This is March Madness on steroids. Yeah, one game elimination series and your best player gets ejected. Yeah.

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put them in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be the thing you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State, with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.
