This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

Allen Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year, I don't think I'm mentally prepared. I found Bishop State, they had the program, I met a few people there, I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first day I met him, I told him about my background, he said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work, he didn't let me have any leeway, he pushed me to my limits, so I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing, all my instructors just want to see me succeed, they want to push me to my limit, they want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be, and I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department, and I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will internship over the summer. No, honestly, I was bummed when you told me earlier this morning, and I know you're going to do this story right now, but I was bummed when you said that the court date wasn't for another year.

March 9th, 2026. Biggie day. I don't think it's going to make it that far. And if it does, it will be a spectacle a la Amber Heard and Johnny Depp for sure. But at this point, that's what the judge said the court date is. The judge is filing also confirmed a pretrial conference that set for February 3rd of this year so next week essentially and that's only to discuss blake's request blake and ryan reynolds request for a gag order to be placed on justin baldoni's lawyer for the remainder of their legal proceedings uh i don't know how far they're gonna get with that to be honest but also dropping yesterday justin baldoni sent blake lively at some point during filming for it ends with us a seven minute voice memo it was sent around two in the morning and it was all related to the The movie's famous rooftop scene that we've heard so much about, which he said in his lawsuit that Blake completely rewrote after he agreed to let her pitch some changes. The audio message, and I'm only going to play you like two very short clips from it, but they referenced Justin rereading the scene at a meeting at Blake and Ryan's apartment. Ryan and their best buddy Taylor Swift was present at. And you're going to hear him apologize for his lukewarm reception to her changes.

I for sure fell short. And you worked really hard on that and the way you framed it and how that made you feel. I just want to say thank you for sharing that with me.

Yeah. Billy Ray Cyrus seemingly addressed his son, Trace Cyrus' concerns, public concerns for him amid this drama that is happening within their family. Trace writing a couple of days ago that all of the kids were genuinely worried about their dad following his performance at President Trump's inauguration. So Billy Ray wrote yesterday in the caption of a YouTube short, praying for my family, for my children, sons and daughters and their mother. He didn't directly name anybody in the family, but he did express his desire to move forward. And he wrote, let this.

i always find it interesting i didn't say this when we were on the air the last couple of mornings because i was down in tampa and it's tough sometimes to hear i'm a little bit undelayed there but um i always find it interesting when somebody is celebrity like this when they go to the press with their comments on it are you talking about his son his son yeah like i like Like, I feel like is he doing it just because he's trying to help his dad or is he doing it because he wants to embarrass his father, who obviously has somewhat of a it sounds like.

So I think I think it's the first I think that they and and maybe I'm naive, but I think that the family has exhausted every option of trying to get him help. And this was last resort.

Like, I think, like, if this were my kids and I, you know, was having issues with my kids, I'd hope my kids wouldn't go to another radio station and say, hey, let me talk about my dad, you know, who's a problem and stuff like that. I would hope that they would just keep it.

I would like to believe that Trace loves his dad so much that he's willing to sacrifice his relationship with him to get him help. But again, call me naive. I don't know. Reese Witherspoon sharing that she was once voted to be the foreman on a jury after she portrayed Elle Woods in Legally Blonde. Oh, really? This is kind of funny. It's from her appearance on The Graham Norton Show this week.

Love y'all. This is really upsetting. I definitely did not go to law school. I didn't finish college. Like, I played a lawyer in a movie once, but they fully made me the foreman. And I started realizing people don't know much about the law.

Pierre BVA will be in town. But if you were ever one of the kids getting dirty at Warped Tour when it came back today, ready to feel old, it's the 30th anniversary of the Vans Warped Tour this year. Part of the reason they're bringing it back. It is only coming to three cities over three weekends. But alongside Simple Plan and Bowling Fursuit, Pennywise, Miss May I, Dance Hall Crashers, Chandler, Layton, Hippin, and there are going to be dozens and dozens of names announced over the next couple of days. They said full lineup will be revealed in the next 30 days.

and business leaders have to say i would say bishop state's like a home for people it may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm your roommate you have a rec center but it's still a place you can go meet new people classmates put in the hallway make friends with advisors

on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be the thing you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or any 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, It cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four-year.
