Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:19 - 00:01:20 | Speaker 6:

Show's flown by.

00:01:20 - 00:02:10 | Speaker 2:

I know. This is crazy. Honest to God, I saw, I looked over and I can see the schedule and I see Dirty's next. I'm like, I didn't feel like we just haven't even. Yeah, I am not that prepared for this dirty. Let's see how this goes. OK, so Coachella kicked off this past weekend and there were a ton of celebrities hanging out. Also, everybody wanted to see Gaga, who got some rave reviews, also sparked some controversy. Some people said her her set was very sadistic because it was red. Yeah, that is it. Post Malone, Green Day headlining, Benson Boone bringing up the original Queen guitarist, the legendary Brian May, to do Bohemian Rhapsody. We have that for you right here. By the way, he's a great person to sing Bohemian Rhapsody. I know.

00:02:11 - 00:02:17 | Speaker 6:

He's got kind of that Queen. Maybe it's because he's so skinny and he's always shirtless.

00:02:17 - 00:02:28 | Speaker 2:

No, Adam Lambert tours with Queen. And every time I see somebody else do it, I'm like, Anna Lambert sounds better. I saw randomly Bernie Sanders was hanging out and took the stage at Coachella.

00:02:28 - 00:02:35 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, they were doing, I think they were speaking and they're doing that whole Bernie Sanders and AOC thing where they're going around the country.

00:02:35 - 00:02:42 | Speaker 1:

And the future of what happens to America is dependent upon your generation.

00:02:43 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 2:

Chris Brown and Kuchi Tran reunited. Remember them from me back in the day. But some festival goers were stuck in traffic for 12 hours before getting onto the Coachella grounds. They were sharing they didn't have access to bathrooms, water, or gas while they were waiting to get in. So people were getting out of their cars to go to the bathroom like in bushes and on the side of the road. Others said their vehicles were overheating because it was like 104 degrees outside. Just a big, big mess with the festival over the weekend.

00:03:13 - 00:03:33 | Speaker 6:

So we're doing Lollapalooza this year. The show is going to get to be part of Lollapalooza. Coachella, I don't like because of the fact that it's out in the middle of nowhere. So you've got nowhere else to go but the Coachella thing. At least in Chicago with Lollapalooza, if I say, all right, I'm done, I'm going to go get myself some Portillo's. You know what I mean? Like I can go get an Uber to Portillo's.

00:03:33 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 2:

I'm with you. I have zero interest in ever going to Coachella, but I've never been to Lollapalooza and I would like to go to Lollapalooza.

00:03:39 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 6:

Lollapalooza is fun. I did Lala one year, and I hung out with all the people from 103.5 KISS FM and B96, the two radio stations in Chicago, the Top 40 stations. And they had little back area studios that were set up with tents, and the stars would just come back there. And I remember Ariana Grande walking back, just kind of doing interviews and stuff. It was pretty cool. I'm excited for this.

00:04:04 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 2:

So I don't know. I'm assuming it's happening right now. Yeah, I'm trying to watch the live NBC News update of Katy Perry and Gayle King. Everybody aboard this Jeff Bezos Blue Origin flight. All women, everybody on board, female. And there is a local tie, by the way. Aisha Bowe is the CEO of a company called Stemboard. She's also a former NASA rocket scientist and a Washtenaw Community College alum. She is or was on board, Lauren Sanchez, who, of course, is the fiancé of Jeff Bezos. She's on there as well.

00:04:40 - 00:04:41 | Speaker 6:

Here they are.

00:04:41 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 2:

Total ride taken about 11 minutes.

00:04:44 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 6:

Here they are, flying.

00:04:46 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 2:

Oh, so they're up. Yeah, I was going to say, lift up.

00:04:48 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 6:

No, they're landing now. Look it. They got the, see the parachute?

00:04:54 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

Oh, yeah. So they were about 62 miles above the earth, experienced weightlessness for a problem.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

Approximately four minutes.

00:05:02 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 4:

The parachute just opened.

00:05:06 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 1:

It sounds like a ride at Cedar Point.

00:05:10 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 4:

You know what they should do? They should have them land somewhere else and make them pissed off that they have to actually find a ride home or something. The thing that was weird was Jeff Bezos with just all the women. Like, why is he going up with them?

00:05:26 - 00:05:27 | Speaker 1:

Did he go up?

00:05:27 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 4:

It looked like he did. It looked like he was walking in there.

00:05:30 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 5:

All of the simulations going through all, I have gone through all of the training. They put you in the capsule that simulates all of this, including the sounds, and when you hear the motors of the persons pop out.

00:05:41 - 00:05:45 | Speaker 1:

No, he was not. He wasn't? No, he was in the crowd looking on.

00:05:45 - 00:05:49 | Speaker 4:

Oh, he was? Yeah. Then who was the guy that walked, he looked like a bald guy like him.

00:05:49 - 00:06:06 | Speaker 1:

I don't know. What's so crazy is Oprah was doing an interview yesterday, or maybe it was earlier this morning when I watched it. I just watched it. And she was talking about how her best friend Gail King has an absolute fear of flying. And she was in that. So why would she do that? Yeah. Because they thought it would be cathartic for her

00:06:06 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 2:

to kind of get over her fear, but... How much do you think she got paid?

00:06:11 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 4:

Or it's promotion for her TV show.

00:06:14 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 2:

I don't think they got paid to do this. Do you? Really? They're promoting that this is going to be a tourism thing.

00:06:21 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 4:

You got to love rich people doing rich people things. This is it. Right here.

00:06:27 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 2:

Remember that submersive vehicle that went to the Titanic? How long until one of those happened? I know.

00:06:36 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 4:

Is it weird to say that you kind of almost, like, watch this thing thinking, is it going to happen badly? Like, I feel bad even thinking that. Like, I should never think those thoughts. But you're just kind of like, okay, will everything be okay?

00:06:50 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 1:

I'm just so claustrophobic. I wouldn't do it for that reason. And I don't know. I have no interest in going to space. No.

00:06:56 - 00:07:00 | Speaker 4:

You know what? I'd rather go to, like, Space Mountain and Disney.

00:07:01 - 00:08:00 | Speaker 1:

Correct. Honestly, me too. And lastly, this story is all over the place, and I'm just kind of gathering details of it. This kid that is charged for killing his parents, this Nikita, I believe you pronounce his last name, Kasab, charged in the deaths of his parents. And the reason that he killed his mom and dad was to obtain the financial means to assassinate President Trump and overthrow the government. Really? Did you hear this story? 17 years old, he was charged last month with first degree murder, theft, other crimes in the death of his mom and his stepdad, fatally shooting them at their home outside of Milwaukee back in February, living with their decomposing bodies for weeks before running away with $14,000 in cash, passports, and he took the family dog with him. He was arrested three weeks ago in Kansas. More details to come out about this.

00:08:00 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 4:

So he loved the family dog more than his parents.

00:08:02 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, well, he wanted to kill his parents to get the money so that he could move forward in assassinating the president. Yikes. Just a nutty story. All right, for all of today's story, catch up by checking out the podcast search Mojo in the Morning in the free on Heart Radio.
