Okay, you guys. Big redhead. So this morning, my friends just sent me this. So this is my source. The FDA has recalled organic blueberries due to a dangerous E. coli outbreak.

I just served it to everyone yesterday at my mom's birthday.

So look at the specific brands though, like definitely. look that up. So we've got blueberries and then lettuce. However, a little twist on this lettuce story. Taylor Farms, the company that the FDA initially said was the Taco Bell lettuce supplier responsible for this explosive diarrhea parasite that people are terrified of getting, it's not them. The FDA came out this morning to say that the original test results were a false positive. So the company went ahead and had voluntarily recalled all of its lettuce from various places including Taco Bell, but it did not have any traces of cyclospora on it when they went back

and did a retest of it. Are they going to sue then? Because the misinformation on that has got

to have ruined that company. For sure. I mean, it's pretty bad, but I know they released a statement. I just saw it this morning. Let me see if I can find it. It says, Taylor Farms, Today, the FDA apologized to us. Today, we were informed that the FDA made a mistake. It was a false positive. And they just said, you know, acting on initial information provided by health officials and out of an abundance of caution, we completed a voluntary recall of iceberg lettuce from central Mexico. And they just said our thoughts remain with everybody who felt ill. So they did the you know, they did a great thing.

So I have to tell you that Tony Travato would like me to videotape myself eating Taco Bell to prove to all the masses that Taco Bell is safe.

I always feel like this is the best time to go to somewhere that has an issue. Because they're on their piece of shoes. Yeah. You guarantee they're clean and everything.

And lastly, another athlete affected by a home burglary. This time, NFL star Saquon Barkley.

Tonight, police outside Philadelphia searching for at least two people accused of breaking into the home of NFL star Saquon Barkley. Investigators say the Super Bowl champion was home with his family early Saturday morning when they were targeted. Officers arriving at Barkley's home within minutes. The alleged intruders already gone. Police say it is not clear if anything was stolen.

How long were they in the home? It was a very short period of time.

Barkley has been outspoken about his love of being a father.

When you have those kids and you see those kids grow up, you realize that there's so much more in this world than how well you run a football.

Investigators releasing this picture of a white SUV they say may have been involved. There is history of NFL star's homes being targeted. Last year, police say thieves stole about $200,000 worth of property belonging to Cleveland Browns quarterback Shador Sanders. And in May, three Chilean nationals arrested in Argentina, wanting in connection to break-ins at the homes of Travis Kelsey and Patrick Mahomes. Police say the Barclay family was not hurt, Lindsay.

That's crazy. Home at the time. Wow. That's really scary.

Do you mind if I do one story on your thing? So I followed a bunch of people that were out at that Lavender Festival, the Blake's Lavender Festival, which we've gave away tickets to.

Yeah.

A storm came upon everybody at, I guess, the last minute. There was really not a lot of forewarning that the storm was happening.

I saw the video of this.

And many of these local vendors that were selling stuff lost all of their goods. and one of them was this one that i saw and i and i was so kind of uh uh taken by it uh hold on a

second here like the the tent everything just ripped apart all their stuff underwater

we just had the most crazy storm come through and my tent is destroyed my products are destroyed and yeah this is the reality of doing outdoor events but this one this one was it's really taking a blow so i don't even know where to start

wow just devastation of everything that's gone uh that's jamie and jamie we reached out to you because i was so sad to see all this that happened to you and every one of these vendors And I wanted to give you an opportunity to plug your business on the air and how people can follow you so that you can make up for some of the loss that you had from the weekend.

Yeah, absolutely. Well, thank you, Moja. I appreciate you reaching out. I'm happy to be here. I'm Jamie, and I own Desert Dreams Jewelry. So, Jamie, can you just tell me, when the storm came in, there was no warning? Like, I know that you guys probably saw dark skies, but they didn't come out and say, hey, we got to close things up?

Yeah, so everything was pretty normal. We, you know, we'd been set up all day, and I was on AccuWeather all day checking out the situations because I had heard of storms possibly coming through, you know, the southeast area of Michigan. And it all just changed incredibly fast. You know, we didn't really have, you know, a lot of warning from the event coordinators. I personally didn't receive any advance warning. I think that everyone was just kind of reacting in the moment because we all know that Michigan weather can change really fast. Yeah, absolutely. I know that, and especially lately, I feel like we've been experiencing some more severe weather than we've ever seen, and I think that it's incredibly difficult to manage, probably on Blake's part, when you are responsible for coordinating thousands of people, and so we did not receive an advance.

Well, and on your phone, if you don't get anything from the National Weather Service, too, like at least something alerting you on your phone, you wonder.

Even up to, yes, I'm sorry, go ahead.

No, say what you're going to say, even up to what?

Sure, absolutely. Well, even in the moment, I was on AccuWeather seeing the wind gusts possibly of 30 miles per hour. I've experienced storms doing these events for 30 mile per hour winds, and it did not result in this kind of damage. So I do think that even though the weather warnings did not anticipate the amount of damaging winds that we would have experienced.

Wow.

Because a lot of people on the post on Instagram, I don't know if you had a chance to sum through the lovely comments people have been leaving. Don't get me wrong. We are incredibly grateful for all the support that we've received, but we've also received, you know, some super awful comments, people saying that we're choosing greed over safety.

That's crazy.

And, you know, I understand why people might think that from the outside, but the reality is very different. None of us wake up thinking, you know, I'm willing to risk my life today.

And my small business. Jamie, that's just called the social media and everybody has to be a hater.

The internet trolls coming out in full swing. And, you know, we trusted that if the conditions became unsafe, that there would be guidance from the event. But when the storm escalated as quickly as it did, you know, everyone just skipped it from, you know, selling to trying to protect people and whatever they could.

are fortunate that we um were able to salvage a lot i know a lot of vendors who had lost everything um so we are definitely you know coming together as a community i think that the vendor community is is really beautiful um and you know after the event to see everybody helping one another I think that just was everything in the moment. So I do believe that Blake's on their Instagram had shared a list of vendors who were at the event. So if anybody is wanting to support any of those, there is a list on there.
