good for them to be associating themselves with their dad like hardly not hardly supposed to not well i know i'm saying is put the like is this clothing line gonna be affected in a negative way because of the negativity of the dad.

Well, I think that the dad's got kind of a little bit of a tarnished reputation right now, and some people may hold it against the kids.

Yesterday morning, inside of the Today Show studio over at NBC's Rockefeller Plaza, some guy busted through security and lunged at co-host Craig Melvin. I believe he was actually looking for Al Roker.

was apparently asking and and how they got past security that's the big question again but they they somehow someway get past security they were asking for al roker they uh when the guy could not find al roker he seemingly then turned his attention uh in the worst possible way to craig melvin and again that's when the slur comes that's when he lunges thankfully uh they were able to restrain this person there are obviously there are uniformed police officers who work the show there are also undercover officers who work the show they got him uh in custody he has since been arrested again concern we've got some photographs from people standing around Craig with with what looks like might be security or officers having conversations with them although like the pro he is 10 minutes later he's on the air and you'd have no idea just went off without a hitch and you wouldn't even know anything happened but what a scary moment they didn't talk about it at all

we go did talk about it briefly uh let me take just a quick moment to address an incident that happened yesterday you may have heard uh that unfortunately an intruder made his way into an an unauthorized area here in studio 1a thankfully he was apprehended quickly he was placed under arrest uh we are cooperating fully with the nypd as they investigate the matter and we are just very happy that everyone is safe absolutely yes of course we want to make sure that you're safe Safe and sound.

Safe and sound at all times. That's crazy. I know, isn't it? It's crazy. And I've been, have you been to Rockefeller?

I've been outside the thing, but they weren't doing Today Show, yeah.

Nuts. All the time. I don't know how he did it. Do you guys know who passed away? This makes me really sad. Have you ever seen Home Alone 2? Yeah, for sure. The pigeon lady. Oh. No. She died. She was 81 years old. Her name's Brenda Fricker. Oscar winning actress, by the way. But yeah, best known for playing the iconic pigeon lady in Home Alone 2 Passed Away.

She had wisdom.

It was so sad when I saw that.

They got to bury her with a pigeon. I know that's not her only thing in life. In Central Park. A pigeon pin. Do you think, though, that they'll do something for her in Central Park? Macaulay Culkin got to say something. Any time that you have ever gone and you've ever been in Central Park before, that's all I think about is that particular movie.

The list is growing. I think of Law and Order. What was the episode in there? Law and Order. A few. A lot of people die. A few.

And lastly, everybody's still talking about explosive diarrhea. Now, shredded lettuce from a supplier called Taylor Farms is at the center of this outbreak.

The FDA thinks a possible culprit for the outbreak in four states is iceberg lettuce, supplied to Taco Bell by Taylor Farms, according to a person familiar with the investigation. Nationwide, nearly 7,000 Americans have gotten sick from something called cyclosporiasis, a parasite-borne illness triggering cramps and severe diarrhea. Identifying a potential source, the first step in solving a problem that impacts a total of 34 states. How soon could it end? It could end several weeks after they've identified a source and been able to issue those consumer safety recalls or being able to kind of make sure that any source is off the market, out of refrigerators, off shelves completely. In Michigan, there are 4,312 cases and climbing. One of them is Natalie Webb. I don't ever want to have to experience anything like that again. Taylor Farms, the nation's largest supplier of lettuce and leafy greens, has been linked to previous outbreaks. It voluntarily recalled yellow onions after E. coli was found at some McDonald's restaurants in 2024.

And so many families out there are going to be asking the same question. What should they do now?

The guidance remains the same, Tom. That is to wash your produce only by whole heads of lettuce. But we have some late breaking news. Our source tells us this outbreak is now they are looking this connection of lettuce in five states. Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana. So five states now. And Taco Bell, the restaurant mentioned in the piece, it voluntarily removed some produce earlier in this month.

Lots of other restaurants besides Taco Bell and grocery stores that this company, this Taylor Fresh or Taylor Made suffice.

I think they might not need, I'd stick away from that. I mean, this is the second time they've had something like this.

Last night I had all the girls over. I got them pizza. I got Smith wings. And I sat there and ate a salad. And halfway through it, I'm like, no, what am I doing? I feel fine.

Is it just the iceberg lettuce or is there a specific lettuce?

That's what they say. Yikes.

Didn't they say symptoms show up a week after you eat it? Shut up.

I feel fine right now.

A week after.

Is that still true?
