The last dirty of the day. So Morgan Wallen, not going to submit his album, his brand new album, I'm the Problem, for consideration at the 2026 Grammy Awards. He's also not going to be submitting any individual song for songs, excuse me, for award categories, including best country solo performance. No, we haven't really gotten a legit explanation from him, but I keep hearing from everybody. He just feels like he's been under recognized by the Grammys in the past. And so he was like, I don't really want any part of it. Now, his collaborators on the album, and there were a lot of them, are going to be able to submit songs that they co-wrote with him. And that album features collabs with Post Malone, Eric Church, Ernest Hardy, and Tate McRae. Multiple number one songs from the album, but not going to be hearing about it. At least not from him at the Grammy Awards. Frank Ocean, Drake, The Weeknd. A whole bunch of artists have done this before where they've just boycotted, criticized, not been a part of the Grammys.

I like it. The Grammy Awards, to me, are stuffy and old. It's the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Morgan, that you got to be with us. We're the ones playing the music. The Grammys do nothing. It's literally a bunch of old, stodgy people, and they don't even like rap music, and they don't like—

They ain't never like rap music.

And honestly, they probably like country music, but they don't like the country that you're doing, Morgan.

Mariah Carey just spoke on this, too, during an interview. They asked her about the Grammys, and she was kind of saying, like, one-word answers. Her word for the Grammys was overrated. Oh, yeah.

The latest with the Menendez brothers, Lyle and Eric Menendez will go before a California parole board panel over the next two days of some very high stakes hearings to determine whether they're going to continue to sit in prison for the 1989 murders of their parents or go free. Now, Eric's parole hearing is scheduled to begin this morning. Lyle's is going to be tomorrow at the end of both hearings. Members of the board will consider whether the brothers currently pose an unreasonable risk of danger to society if they are released from prison after three decades.

Wouldn't it be amazing if only one of them got out? Oh, that's insane. Wouldn't that be great? That would be insane. It's like the brother that got chosen for student council and you didn't.

And lastly, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the FTC, is suing the operators of L.A. Fitness over allegations that they make it ridiculously difficult for people to cancel their gym memberships. The complaint filed yesterday accuses L.A. Fitness and its other clubs, including Club Studio, which I know we have here locally, of charging its customers hundreds of millions of dollars in unwanted recurring fees as a result of these crazy, confusing cancellation policies. I know tens of thousands of customers have complained about this and the FTC is pointing to two unfair and unlawful cancellation processes that it says the gyms, the LA fitness gyms have used for years. this idea that you have to go in person to cancel or you have to do it by mail, both of which options require customers to print out a form on the website and log in and use information that you may not even have, and then mailing the form, going to the post office, all that kind of stuff. And so the FTC is saying this is just way too complicated and too demanding. And if you try to do it online, good luck, because it's so buried on the website,

it'll take you forever to even find it you know what the worst was uh i used to have the radio service you had to pay for i won't say the name of it but we know uh and uh they do that they they make it so hard for you to try to drop out that it becomes a pain in the ass and then you're talking to a guy on the phone that i think is in india or something doesn't live in this country but he's you he's technically like trying to keep you so he's you know making it very difficult to the point that you just give up so who are you talking about i think this is a this
