Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

00:01:20 - 00:01:28 | Speaker 5:

All right, what is Shannon going to be leading us off with this morning for the last Dirty of the week? By the way, what was the first Dirty Story of the week? Do you remember on Monday? 6.30? Oh, no.

00:01:28 - 00:01:29 | Speaker 4:

I don't.

00:01:29 - 00:01:32 | Speaker 5:

I'm trying to think of what it was. What was the big stories?

00:01:32 - 00:01:34 | Speaker 4:

It might have been Dolly. Was it? Oh.

00:01:34 - 00:01:36 | Speaker 5:

No, Dolly, that was during the week.

00:01:36 - 00:01:38 | Speaker 4:

Was Dolly Tristan? Yeah, it was probably Oscars.

00:01:38 - 00:01:40 | Speaker 5:

Oscars. Oh, yeah, it was Oscars. I think she's right.

00:01:41 - 00:02:46 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah. What's going on? So SpaceX lost contact with its unmanned Starship rocket just minutes after launching yesterday. Did you guys see this? Is this one that's picking up the stuck astronauts? No. Oh, okay. No, but this is, well, it's Elon Musk, right? Yeah. SpaceX. So the spaceship, Starship, launched successfully at 6.30 p.m. in Texas, but right away started to spin out of control. It was a test flight. Thank goodness. Several engines flamed out. But here's the deal. It was like a ripple effect. Airports in Orlando, Palm Beach, Miami, Fort Lauderdale were put under ground stops because of concern over space launch debris. SpaceX had ended its video feed of the launch without saying where the spacecraft was or where its debris may have hit, which was very interesting to me. Before that video feed was cut off, it showed the spacecraft just kind of tumbling and communications ended around the same point. People in Florida and some islands in the Caribbean and Atlantic reported seeing a huge debris cloud, so not good.

00:02:46 - 00:02:58 | Speaker 5:

That, by the way, is an interesting question about Megan brought up about the, is it the one picking these people up? The pilot, the spaceship, those, or those astronauts have been up in space for, was it a year

00:02:58 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 4:

or almost a year? It was supposed to be eight days.

00:03:00 - 00:03:31 | Speaker 5:

And they ended up, you know, getting stuck up there and they need to have something to take them back. So SpaceX is going to bring them back. There was a story that came out this week that Musk offered Biden the same opportunity to go pick them up and he didn't want to do it, turned it down. which is interesting because if I'm those people I don't care at that point if I'm a Democrat and I don't like Elon Musk I want to still come home I don't care who's picking me up as far as that is concerned you can drive me just as long as you get me home

00:03:31 - 00:03:37 | Speaker 3:

how many of these rockets have they lost it feels like these keep exploding and failing

00:03:37 - 00:03:39 | Speaker 5:

the second one that exploded

00:03:39 - 00:03:41 | Speaker 3:

but they keep failing right

00:03:41 - 00:03:45 | Speaker 5:

these rockets are for tests to get people up to

00:03:45 - 00:03:47 | Speaker 3:

a further destination

00:03:47 - 00:03:56 | Speaker 4:

Blue Origin is Jeff Bezos' company, and that one is supposed to take a bunch of women in the next... I think Katy Perry's on there, right?

00:03:56 - 00:04:00 | Speaker 5:

But has Blue Origin actually been in space or just circled the sky?

00:04:00 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 3:

Technically, they have, but they're like the airplanes that just go to that free swimming area. Heck no, do I want to be on that thing. But it's not that hot. Remember, the guy who did the base jump for Red Bull technically went into space, but he was just like on a hot air balloon.

00:04:14 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 4:

I'm not doing it. Mm hmm. OK, so this all the Epstein stuff so far has been quite the dud to me, at least. I mean, we haven't really gotten much information yesterday. Attorney General Pam Bondi on with Hannity and announcing that the Epstein files will be redacted. And she's saying before you get disappointed, it is for good reason here.

00:04:35 - 00:04:43 | Speaker 1:

Maybe some people don't understand the need to redact. In the case of a victim, that should be pretty obvious to people. What are the other things that maybe you'd have to redact?

00:04:43 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 2:

well national security now of course national security some grand jury information which is always going to be confidential but we'll see let's let's look through them as fast as we can get it out to the american people because the american people have a right to know we believe in transparency

00:05:00 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 3:

and it's going to come out. And when we redact things, Sean, what we're going to do is not just pull pages out like they used to do. If something's redacted, you will know the line and you will know why it's redacted.

00:05:11 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 5:

Did anything ever come of all of the files that were handed over to the FBI a week ago today?

00:05:15 - 00:05:17 | Speaker 3:

Not yet. I think these are the files they're talking about.

00:05:17 - 00:06:00 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, yeah. Jennifer Lopez, apparently not very happy with constantly seeing photos of her ex, Ben Affleck, and his ex, Jennifer Garner. The big story this week was that Ben wants Jen back and she has completely friend zone him she's in a relationship she's happy they have been spending a lot of time together co-parenting their three children which is generating headlines and even like i said causing some speculation about ben's feelings for his ex um but a source telling me that these photos are all over page six the daily mail du moi have been like salt in the wound for j-lo they just finalized her divorce a couple of weeks ago so this situation is now is completely messing with her head.

00:06:00 - 00:06:05 | Speaker 4:

Do you think J-Lo's people are framing it this way to be like he stepped out on their marriage and that's why it failed?

00:06:05 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, because I don't think that Ben and Jen Garner are doing anything different than they have been for the past couple of years. They've co-parented very well. They're very amicable. They're together all the time. She's helped him in a lot of his low points with his various struggles with things. So, yeah. J-Lo needs this style. Yeah. uh charlie xcx in talks to play the white witch in greta gerwig's upcoming chronicles of narnia film for netflix which i did not even know she was happening or this was happening remember she is uh the director behind the barbie movie but charlie xcx among the top choices for the role she's been in talks for a while nothing has been signed or agreed upon just yet an actor I don't know that she's ever acted in anything. Producing this stuff. So she is in talks to be the White Witch. I don't know if she is in talks to contribute any sort of musical components to the movie, but her name is out there.

00:07:01 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

Do you think sometimes when you name yourself Charlie XCX and then you go into acting, you wish you would have used your real name?

00:07:10 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

I'm sure she will. It's like when Lady Gaga acts, she uses Stephanie Germanana.

00:07:15 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 3:

Does she? Yeah. Yeah. Because I always still see them listing her as Lady Gaga and stuff.

00:07:20 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 4:

Ariana Grande put her full name in Wicked. Because Grande is her mother. It's on her mother's side, right? Interesting. Or it's a shortened version. I don't remember. But she has a longer name that she uses in Wicked.

00:07:35 - 00:07:43 | Speaker 5:

And lastly, just a little PSA, a reminder for you. We spring forward this weekend, which means we lose an hour of sleep.

00:07:43 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 3:

I'm okay with it. As long as I don't have to, like, be dark at 5 o'clock at night. I hate that.

00:07:48 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, same. But the time change is going to take place at 2 a.m. on Sunday, moving us ahead automatically to 3.

00:07:54 - 00:08:25 | Speaker 3:

By the way, I'm pissed off at Trump because he was going to get rid of daylight savings time. And then yesterday, he said that he may not do that. That bums me out. I thought that was the one thing that we should definitely do. I thought that was bipartisan. Didn't you? that everybody wants to get rid of it and everybody like don't you guys wouldn't you rather have it always be that it stays light later and then it stays it's dark during the morning absolutely I think so yeah

00:08:25 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 5:

hey for all of this week's dirty catch up on the podcast on the totally free iHeartRadio app or MojoInTheMorning.com

00:08:31 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 3:

don't go anywhere actually hold on a second I gotta do the top five I forgot about that I was gonna explain who some of these people are that are in the studio but right now instead I gotta do the top five it's our can you guess what song is number one or what artist has the number one song?

00:08:44 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 5:

I'm going with Kendrick.

00:08:46 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Well, we're going to find out. Number five song in the country right now. Tipsy, a bar song. Everybody at the bar. That song, by the way, has been on this chart for 46 weeks. Is that crazy? The number four song. Kendrick Lamar.

00:09:11 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

TV off.

00:09:12 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 3:

This is now the new M&M for me, where everybody asks me for tickets to Kendrick Lamar like they would for all M&M shows back in the day. Actually, Morgan Wallen was, I think, the third most requested ticket. Oh, Taylor Swift. Taylor was number one, yeah. That's number four. Number three. Another Kendrick song.

00:09:42 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 1:

They not like us. They not like us.

00:09:44 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 3:

Yes.

00:09:45 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 1:

They not like us. They not like us. They not like us.

00:09:49 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 3:

Number two. She's got a new album out. And you say that this is the last song on that album? Is that right, Megan?

00:09:57 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:09:57 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 3:

There you are. Okay. Yeah.

00:09:59 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 4:

There you are.

00:10:00 - 00:10:30 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's the last song. The second to last song is Blades of Grass, which is a weird ballad that goes right into this, which is a more upbeat ballad. But I thought this was going to be a Bruno song. And it's on her new album, Mayhem. Her album is getting great reviews. It's amazing, dude. They said it's her best album. If you are a Gaga fan and you like the Born This Way, the Fame Monster, it is very old school. There is a song that sounds like Prince. There is a song that's clearly inspired by Michael Jackson. It's very 80s. It's so sick. It's dance pop anthems

00:10:30 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 4:

Don't forget the song that sounds like Phil Callens That's what he told me this morning

00:10:34 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 3:

But I'm telling you right now Killa and Zombie Boy Those are good songs

00:10:41 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 4:

Alright and the number one song in the country You don't need to listen to Ryan Seacrest This weekend Actually you should because our boss will get mad for me saying this

00:10:49 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 1:

Luther Hendrick and SZA And Shannon already ended the derby

00:10:58 - 00:11:01 | Speaker 4:

So I'm just going to say, we'll be right back.

00:11:01 - 00:11:09 | Speaker 2:

Fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, fuh, hey, go.

00:11:09 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 6:
