Alan Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. And I've already got a job shadow before, and hopefully I will end the ship over the summer. If you choose Bishop, we're welcome to have you any day.

The latest on this plane crash, 67 people are believed to be dead this morning following the American Airlines plane that collided with a U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopter just before 9 p.m. in D.C. yesterday. We're getting new updates by the minute. More than 30 bodies have now been recovered from the Potomac River so far. Authorities are confident they will recover all 67 bodies. Now, American Airlines Flight 5342 departed from Wichita, Kansas, and crashed into that military aircraft like literally minutes before it was supposed to land. And this is over the Potomac River near Ronald Reagan National Airport. The Army describing the three on board that helicopter as, quote unquote, fairly experienced. They did say night vision goggles were on board. That was important for them to mention. Several members of the U.S. figure skating team were among the passengers on the American Airlines flight. Also, Russian World Figure Skating Championship champions, excuse me, Eugenia Shikova and Vedim Nomov were also on that flight along with their son. U.S. figure skating sang in a statement this morning. These athletes, coaches, and family members were returning home from the National Development Camp held in conjunction with the U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Wichita. We are devastated by this unspeakable tragedy.

So Russia going to launch their own investigation, I'm sure. If one of their own is killed in this, why wouldn't they? Well, three of their own.

You know what I'm saying? Yeah, I don't know.

That's the interesting thing. A lot of people said we got to look at the flight list of who is on this plane. is there anybody because everybody right away we all we don't believe anything anymore right we think there's always conspiracies to everything um and i get it i you know but air travel has been so unsafe lately like when you hear these near misses that when i heard the stat that this is the longest period of time that we've had no major crashes i mean that's pretty wild it is

the worst aviator.

American aviation tragedy since 2001. Shemmy, you said something about night vision goggles? It was important for the Army to note that, so I don't know if, why. If it was training, they said it was a training.

They say that night vision goggles change perspective of depth perception and everything like that, especially with the Potomac River there. And that sometimes you don't know the distance that you are with night vision goggles.

If that's the case.

I don't know why they're that close to the White House then. What were you going to say?

Or any airport that has commercial flights going in and out of it.

That's got to be a last resort.

Why are they training that close? You know? I don't know.

It looked intentional. That's all I'm going to say. I didn't see any other footage, I'll be honest with y'all. This morning, I was getting the news that y'all were reporting. I wish I wouldn't have watched. I looked at this dash cam footage like four or five times. And obviously, the speed that a plane is decreasing is like, you know, they're going hundreds of miles per hour. So it can happen that fast. But there are four lights, you know, when it's at nighttime, they have those blinking lights so you can see where the plane is. Yeah. It flashed four times before that helicopter hit them.

I don't know how you missed that. Well, that plane was so close to just being a landed flight. Yes. It's amazing.

Andy Reid is blowing off the chatter about his, or about the, I should say, alleged favoritism his chiefs have been getting. The Kansas City coach asked about it on the Pat McAfee show yesterday with Pat asking Coach Reid, you and the refs are meeting like tonight for the Super Bowl, right? Is that what's happening? And the coach's response, two very simple words. Yeah, right. He said he tries really hard not to pay attention to any of that stuff.

Do you think, Kev, that there is blatant favoritism?

Oh, definitely. I think there's a lot of money that is generated based on the superstardom of the Chiefs and who they're affiliated with, Taylor Swift, et cetera, et cetera. that it's good for the game if Patrick Mahomes is there. And I think the refs do just enough.

It's almost kind of like WWE wrestling fake, right?

Like, those Josh Allen, 4th and 1s, like, it's clear it's a first down. I don't know what they're looking at.

Well, that non-interception and then they called it a catch was, like, bad, too. Can I bring up another sports quick thing with Kevin? I watched the Pistons-Pacers game last night. Uh-huh. And the Pacers might be the punkest team I've ever seen.

Rihanna, so in her support for A$AP Rocky yesterday, she was there. She was at his trial in L.A. Told you she was going to be there. sat between Rocky's mom and sister as the trial in his 2021 felony shooting case continued. Now, if you're watching this on live stream, you're not going to see her. She was there. I don't know if she'll be back today, but security guards on both sides of the row that she's sitting in. She is not expected to take the stand and testify in this case whatsoever. But some details here. ASAP Rocky previously turned down a final plea deal last week, which would have seen him serve just 180 days behind bars. And now he's facing a max of 24 years behind bars, if convicted on all charges. And this all stems from that 2021 altercation that accuses him of firing a weapon at ASAP Raleigh following an argument near a hotel in Hollywood. Raleigh actually took the stand yesterday. Do we have that? Oh, yeah. Yeah.

He pointed at me. And then that's when Elijah was like in between. And he's like, I'll kill you right now. You're like whatever. The audio is really bad.

The only thing you need to know is Relly said he literally pulled a gun, pointed it at me, and said, I will kill you.

Getting some details about country singer Sam Hunt being arrested earlier this month on charges of speeding and violating an interlock device. You guys know what an interlock device is? It's that thing you have to blow into.

A breathalyzer?

Yes, before it'll let you drive your car. Police in Henderson County, Tennessee say Sam was charged, jailed, and released on a $1,500 bond all within a day. This was back on January 20th. His mugshot was just released yesterday, though. So, this is his second arrest in the last five years. Remember, he got arrested in 2019 on a DUI.

Did he look good in his mug shot? No, he looked drunk. Did he?

That is an allegation. I don't know if he was drunk. I'm just saying he didn't look cute. Dude, if there's one thing you got to do.

Do you know the funny thing about Sam Hunt? Do you know much about him, Kevin? No. Sam Hunt was a SEC quarterback. I forget what team he played with. Yeah, he played, he was like either a backup quarterback or something in college or something.

A massive fish bit the head of a woman performing as a mermaid. As kids are watching this happen at an aquarium. Now, it's in China. It's still this story. I mean, the video is crazy. This aquatic artist, her name is Masha. She's swimming in one of those like huge wall, like ceiling, Florida ceiling, wall-to-wall aquariums, okay? And you see this huge fish. Megan, you said you think it's a sturgeon. I mean, bit down on her, almost her whole head in its mouth. Snuck up behind her too. in front of all these little kids. So this woman tries to fight back. She's able to free herself from the fish. She rips off her goggles and swims to the surface. She suffered head, neck, and eye injuries. Here's the crazy, I mean, that part of the story is crazy in itself. Her employer told her to get your butt back in the water. What? And never, ever share footage of the attack, which everybody who was there was sharing footage of it. She got paid $100 for that gig, too. Not for this. Hell yeah. 100 bucks, baby. Yeah. I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, people in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be there you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or any 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four year.
