00:01:36 - 00:01:44 | Speaker 7:

this morning breaking news that came in yesterday in the evening or towards the evening about uh

00:01:44 - 00:02:12 | Speaker 2:

former president joe biden yeah diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer they discovered a small nodule on his prostate that led him to make a doctor's appointment get it evaluated. They also found out that the cancer has already spread to his bones. A spokesman said the president and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians. Now, just so you understand how it got, it already got described as aggressive. This is cancer expert,

00:02:12 - 00:02:32 | Speaker 3:

Dr. David Aegis. We classically grade prostate cancer by Gleason score with 10 is the highest, six is the lowest and a Gleason nine, which is what the president has is a very aggressive form of the cancer, which is manifest by the fact that his has already spread to his bones. So it's bone metastatic or stage four Gleason 9 prostate cancer.

00:02:32 - 00:03:17 | Speaker 2:

Just moments ago, the former president sharing a new photo of himself and the former first lady. And the caption says, cancer touches us all. Like so many of you, Jill and I have learned that we are strongest in the broken places. Thank you for lifting us up with love and support. President Donald Trump, by the way, responding to news on social media, saying, Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden's recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery. Now, while it is sounding like this is new news to the former president and his family, somebody pulled a clip from two, two and a half years ago where he mentions that he has already been diagnosed with cancer. Listen to this.

00:03:17 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 1:

And because it was a four-lane highway that was accessible, my mother drove us and rather than us be able to walk and guess what the first frost you know what was happening it had to put on their windshield wipers to get literally the oil slick off the window that's why i and so damn many other people i grew up have cancer and why can't for the longest time delaware had the highest cancer rate in the nation and at the time his people said he

00:03:46 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 7:

they all thought they were all like oh boy what's going on this was another one of those times where They were all worried about him. No one caught it, though, I guess. No, they didn't. I don't remember it being a huge story. Oh, it was. Back then? Yeah. It was. It was. It was only on probably Fox News at the time that they were covering it. But so did you see this morning? CNN is coming out this morning. And this is pretty interesting that they're the ones questioning this. But CNN's Brian Stelter questions the timing of Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis, questioning that this is coming out on the weekend that all those tapes were released of the Robert Herr investigation into, remember the documents that were at his house? Yeah. And they released a bunch of the audio of his interview, and he didn't sound great in the interview, like he didn't remember when he was the vice president or what year he was the vice president. And Stelzer and CNN reporting this morning that they believe that that the timing seems a little suspicious because of the news cycle was all about these audio recordings. Listen, I will say this, if anything, to hear, you know, President Trump. Trump, who's obviously not a fan of Joe Biden's, come out and say something nice. I think this is one of those things where you pull each other together and you stop being so political and just say, hey, we wish the guy well. You know what I mean?

00:05:11 - 00:05:12 | Speaker 2:

Absolutely.

00:05:12 - 00:05:35 | Speaker 7:

Nancy Pelosi is also getting crap this morning, too. She wrote a get well wish on her social media and she had to turn the comments off because people are calling her two faced because she didn't stand behind the former president when he was running for president. And she it was called a backstabber because, remember, they kind of led the attack on him to drop out of the race.

00:05:35 - 00:06:50 | Speaker 2:

But Cassie Ventura is done testifying in the sex trafficking trial of Sean Combs. She had a long day on Friday, her fourth day on that witness stand for much of the day. Diddy's defense attorney is trying to undercut her claims that she was an unwilling participant in his infamous freak offs. having her read text messages seemingly showing that she was excited to perform. Again, Cassie saying she was worried for her safety here because of the beating she endured during and following the freak offs. She referred to herself as, quote unquote, basically a sex worker at one point in her testimony. Cassie and her husband, Alex Fine, issuing a heartfelt statement emphasizing the importance of speaking out against abuse. In his statement specifically, Alex praised Cassie's courage and resilience, stating, I am so proud of my wife for standing up and speaking her truth. Her strength inspires me every day. Now, in Related Dirty, Diddy has filed to dismiss Dawn Richard's civil suit against him on the same day that she took the witness stand against him in his criminal trial. This is his legal team is pointing out a series of reasons why Dawn's lawsuit shouldn't go further. statute of limitations improper group pleas all sorts of legal things but they're saying she

00:06:50 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 6:

should not be allowed to do this so she was the last one to testify on friday and we expect her to start back up again on monday but she has a very limited role here she's talking not about the allegations in her civil lawsuit as to what she claimed sean combs did to her but specifically about an allegation of the violence that sean combs put upon cassie where she uh cassie was making breakfast at a scene. Sean Combs got very mad, said, where's my eggs? Came down, took the pan and started swinging it at Cassie. The impact here is that this isn't just violence for the sake of freak-offs. This was violence for the sake of their relationship and also the seriousness of this violence as well that Don Rashard saw firsthand.

00:07:31 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, saw several times firsthand and was also told to keep quiet on what she says went down. Bill Belichick sitting down with Good Morning America's Michael Strahan to talk about what else his relationship with his 24 year old girlfriend jordan hudson what do you think about

00:07:46 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 7:

all the attention that your relationship has been getting yeah well she's been terrific you know

00:07:50 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 4:

through the whole process and she's been very helpful to me she does the business things that don't relate to north carolina that come up in my life so i can concentrate on football and and that's really what i want to do you know i acknowledged her in the book she was very helpful on that with the with the tribute pages and also given a perspective of the book from kind of a business side you know sometimes i get a little football technical and uh and so you know she did a good job of uh keep me on balance there so what did what did jordan mean to you well we have good personal relationship and you know i'm not talking about personal relationships

00:08:21 - 00:08:27 | Speaker 1:

michael you know that okay i know what i'm saying are you happy yeah you look happy yeah i never

This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

00:10:09 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 2:

I would say Bishop State's like a home for people. It may not be like a four-year where you have a dorm, you have a roommate, you have a rec center, but it's still a place you can go meet new people, classmates, put in the hallway, make friends with advisors on all these teachers and everything like that. It's just a place you can feel like yourself and not try to be the thing you don't want to be. With this program, I learned networking a lot. We've had two dinners with heads of different companies dealing with shipping or even game design builds, dealing with AutoCAD or 3D modeling. So really being able to meet new people or meet heads of new people has been really helpful. I don't come from a wealthy family, so four years were kind of not out the picture, but less probable for me to go to. Bishop State with my scholarship, it cut my price in half and made it way easier for me to go to school for the same 12 credits I would go for a four year.
