My name is Neterica Terry LaMille, and my major is general education. Some of the obstacles I have overcame at Bishop State is proving that I can show up consistently, even when my life was heavy. There are moments where I still feel overwhelmed by balancing work, leadership, parenting, and school, but Bishop reminded me that I'm capable of growth and not perfection, that I'm supported as long as I'm committed to being a better person than I was yesterday. My peers can depend on me. I'm there being poured into, but some of those students don't know that the faculty and stuff are really there for them. The JonBenét Ramsey docu-series on Netflix. I started it I think I'm like an episode or two in at this point. You're not presenting anything new. I'm kind of disappointed too but if you don't know anything about the JonBenét case it's old. It's from 1996 but it's never been solved. JonBenet Ramsey was this beautiful six-year-old little girl. She loved doing pageants. She was found dead in her basement the day after Christmas. Her killer never been found. Well, fast forward to 2024. Authorities in Colorado say new leads, they're

real close to finding her killer. There's new hope in the decades-old unsolved murder case of JonBenet Ramsey. Sources say progress is being made in the investigation into the six-year-old's killing. Obviously a homicide, a criminal act has been committed. Somebody did it. Sources close to the investigation say a team of experts is going through the remaining evidence using modern scientific and cold case techniques to try and crack the case. Jean Benet's murder has frightened residents of Boulder. It was the day after Christmas in 1996 when Jean Benet's parents realized their daughter was missing from their Boulder, Colorado home. A handwritten ransom note demanding $118,000 was left behind on the stairs by the kitchen. Hours later, John Ramsey found his daughter dead in the basement. The unsolved murder captivating people for nearly 30 years. Netflix now out with a docuseries on the case.

She had tape over her mouth and her hands were tied behind her back and I immediately pulled the tape off.

JonBenet's parents and brother were cleared in 2008 after additional DNA evidence was found. Boulder Police released an annual update on the case, releasing the update earlier than usual this year due to increased attention on the investigation.

Detectives are regularly investigating some aspects of this terrible crime, and I receive updates frequently.

Interesting, by the way, that Netflix may lead to the Menendez brothers possibly being released.

I don't think it's going to end up happening, though.

Yeah, the last judge that talked on that thing. Remember, he pushed it back until January.

I think he's given himself some time to kind of let people die, you know, they're stuffed it down. And then possibly this one here, which who knows.

But so much has happened in terms of, like, CODA with, like, DNA since 1996. I'm very surprised that this case hasn't been solved.

But here's what makes me infuriated was that Making a Murderer documentary series, you remember that, where they coerced the kid into a confession and you can watch it on the docuseries, did not get a pardon and is still in jail for a murder he clearly did not commit.

Serena Williams is shooting down these claims that she is bleaching her skin after a recent video sparked that speculation. The tennis superstar put the rumors to rest during an Instagram live that she did yesterday. She was walking fans through her makeup routine. And she said, no, for all of you haters out there, I do not bleach my skin. She said there's a thing called sunlight. In sunlight, you get different colors. And she said that video of her that's going around, she had stage makeup on. She was volunteering to help at her daughter's school play. And she's like, so that was the difference in color there. But no, she said, I don't actually bleach my skin. So can we just kind of clear that up? And lastly, Planned Parenthood jumping on the Wicked bandwagon to talk about sexually transmitted infections. If you go to Planned Parenthood, did you see the ad now? Planned Parenthood social media. It's a parody of the Wicked musical poster posing the very important question of, is your discharge green?

Oh, boy.

Is that word worse than moist? Yes. Leakage, discharge, and moist are all pretty bad. But it said, if you're experiencing wicked sexual and reproductive health care concerns, Planned Parenthood health centers are holding space to help, even if your pee is green. But they said the word. I just can't say that word. Megan's looking right now.
