This is the Bishop Statement at Bishop State Community College. We want you to hear what our students, educators, and business leaders have to say.

Alan Lee, my major is drafting and design. In high school, I did it since my sophomore year, and I kind of wanted to continue it. It was the only thing I was good at. I didn't want to move to a four-year yet. I don't think I was mentally prepared. I found Bishop State. They had the program. I met a few people there. I ended up enrolling. The instructor, first time I met him, I told him about my background. He said, okay, great, you know about this. He built me straight to work. He didn't let me have any leeway. He pushed me to my limits. So I think that made me choose drafting design at Bishop State and stuck with it. The sport's amazing. All my instructors just want to see me succeed. They want to push me to my limit. They want to see me be the best I can be, get a job, just be as successful as I can be. And I really appreciate all of them. With my degree, as of right now, my plan is to work for the city of Mobile with their urban planning department. Mojo in the Morning's Dirty on the 30.

I feel like we just did the dirty,

which I think we did because we just ended, but we're doing another. I love it. It's a dirty day here on the show. I'll make it quick. No, long dirty.

I want to do this story about Twitch again because I am seeing it everywhere and the backlash is growing fierce. So if you don't remember who Twitch is or was, I should say, he was on the Ellen DeGeneres show. He's on So You Think You Can Dance. He was like a dancer, choreographer. And he passed away in 2022 by suicide. Well, now his wife, Allison Holker, is her name. She's pretty famous too. But she's opening up about the hidden struggles that her late husband was wrestling with at the time of his death.

There was a moment I was with one of my really dear friends and we were cleaning out the closet and picking out an outfit for him for the funeral. and it was a really triggering moment for me because there was a lot of things I discovered in our closet that I did not know existed and it was very alarming to me to learn that there was so much happening that I had no clue so that was it was a really scary moment in my life to figure that out but it also helped me process that he was going through so much and he was hiding so much and there must have been a lot of shame in that and he was wrestling with a lot inside himself and he was trying to self-medicate and cope with all those feelings because he didn't

want to put it on anyone so she also has a tell-all memoir coming out in a couple of weeks the first week of february and she says she is being open and transparent about what happened with her husband to help others who are in the same situation with a family member or who have you know dealt with something like this however twitch's family not super happy they are blasting her for airing out his alleged drug use, mental health issues, for allegedly making them sign NDAs in order to attend his funeral. That's something that just came out in the midst of all of this. One of Twitch's cousins, her name is Elle, tweeted, he was not an addict. He smoked weed and he was trying to quit. He wasn't some junkie. She also is saying that Allison has kept Twitch's three kids from seeing his relatives. A close friend of his also echoed her comments in a lengthy Instagram post, writing, this This is by far the most tacky, classless, opportunistic act I have ever seen in my entire life. She's not giving it back. J-Lo said she is keeping the 8.5 carat natural green diamond engagement ring that she got from Ben Affleck now that their divorce is over. The one that he engraved to say, not going anywhere. Not period, going period, anywhere, which that didn't age very well. But the former couple settled their divorce on Monday, nearly five months after she filed to end their two-year marriage. The ring is worth five million bucks. It's green because that was her favorite color and she's keeping it.

Interesting that I think the law states that.

Once you get married, that it is yours, right? Contract has been fulfilled, yep. But she's got enough of those. Boy, I tell you what, she's got a whole investment of those things.

To be fair, don't you think at a certain point, this probably isn't valuable to either party, right? They're both insanely rich, and this probably isn't a big part of it. She probably just doesn't want it resold as J-Lo's ring. That's a good point. Yeah.

They should put it in one of those museums like the Smithsonian. No, no, not Smithsonian. Put it in like the one like where Dr. Kevorkian's vehicle is.

Oh, like one of the Vegas museums.

Yeah, exactly.

Lastly, this is a pretty crazy story and something to be mindful of if you weren't aware because I sure wasn't. There's a TikTok influencer named Tabitha Swadish. And she was forced to change the locks on her new home because of something that she did on TikTok. She made the mistake of flashing her brand new front door keys to her millions of followers in a video to document the first day in her new house. She's got about 15 million followers. And there she is on this TikTok flashing her keys excitedly as she's talking about how she already set up like the electricity and the gas and all of that fun stuff before she goes to open the front doors for the first time. Totally innocent, right? However, several of her followers were quick to point out how easily she had compromised her safety. Yeah. Because sharing an image or a video of just your keys can enable would-be thieves and criminals to make a copy, leaving your home at a serious risk of somebody breaking in. So thankfully, her boyfriend saw this, hightailed his butt to the local Home Depot to get a new lock and key set for the front door and all is well. But just so you're aware, don't do that.

Can I do some breaking news right now? Absolutely. With the fires in L.A. and Calabasas and now moving, they say, fastly across Los Angeles. The NFL says that they have not made a determination on whether or not they will move or do anything different with the Minnesota Vikings and the Rams game. It's set to be on Monday night right now. So they're not making a decision on that yet, but they obviously know that a number of people in L.A. and L.A.'s resources are being probably used for this fire. The other thing that did happen was the SAG Award nominations were supposed to be announced today. They have postponed those nominations because they thought it would be in poor taste for them to do it. And also, obviously, everybody's talking what's going on. They're not focused on that.

Off the top of your mind, or Shannon and Megan, from what you all have heard, how does this compare to the biggest fire in L.A. history? Is this up there? Is it trending in that direction?

So they said 29,000 acres already burned. It is 0% contained. At least that's what it was when I came in this morning. It's pretty big.

I think the devastation from this thing and the worry is obviously loss of life. I mean, more so than loss of things. A lot of people worry this could be worse than any of the biggest earthquakes that California has ever seen.
