It's Mojo on The Morning Show. It's good to have everybody here with us today. Megan, and I'm hoping that I'm not one of these ones, but do guys judge us for what we eat is the topic that we're going to do right now.

00:01:45 - 00:02:19 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, and I'm looking for blatant honesty on this one from men because, you know what, I give my unsolicited opinion all the time. I need this back because I want to know if this is true. I don't want sugarcoating here. When you see a woman eating at a restaurant, are you judging her for what she's eating? Because I had a guy eye my plate when I went to dinner the other night. And he was looking. I had ordered a steak and Brussels sprouts. I was treating myself. And he looked at my steak, right? And he said, wow, that whole thing for you?

00:02:20 - 00:02:21 | Speaker 7:

Wow.

00:02:21 - 00:03:00 | Speaker 4:

and i actually said it or you thought his eyes said it no actually said it oh you don't say that that actually came up to me and said that whole thing for you and i was genuinely so hungry it was my first meal of the day yeah and i by the way okay not to get too specific but i'm actually really mad about this it was an eight ounce steak that's not a huge no it's not and it wasn't like he was being funny like small steak like all of that is for you i can't believe you got such a big thing and it was a small meal he genuinely meant it because the side of brussels sprouts that i got was supposed to be like a shareable appetizer but i didn't want potatoes i wanted

00:03:00 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 7:

vegetables and that was the only option what kind of steak what what cut was it was a filet oh she wanted to have a piece of my meat so it's even smaller right because there's no like a bone

00:03:11 - 00:03:16 | Speaker 4:

to make it look no and there was like a plate of brussels sprouts and said all that for you

00:03:16 - 00:03:27 | Speaker 7:

and then kind of walked away like who says that well that was okay that guy was a jerk was he saying it to be mean or saying it to be flirty like sometimes originally that's what i thought

00:03:27 - 00:03:32 | Speaker 6:

she can handle her meat like is that the direction he was going same which is why i laughed yeah and

00:03:32 - 00:03:59 | Speaker 4:

talked back to him and then he walked away to go talk to his buddies oh so like you didn't flirt you just said something rude and walked away and then i sat there and was like well you ruined my meal yeah you still eat the whole thing because then i kept going well is everybody else going like looking at my food and going is this a lot of food for one person because i was sitting by myself at the bar so i was like oh everybody here is now looking at what i'm eating wow that's when

00:03:59 - 00:04:04 | Speaker 5:

i feel like i get smart assy and i'm like yes and i'm actually gonna order dessert too yeah right

00:04:04 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 7:

yeah i got so uncomfortable um do when you guys go on dates and you're with you know you're with a date. Do you order differently if you're with somebody that you're worried is going to be

00:04:16 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 4:

judging you? Well, yeah, because of stuff like this. Like, normally, I hate getting a salad on a first date because everybody's like, oh, you got a salad on your first date? Are you worried about what they're going to think? Yes, because stuff like this

00:04:28 - 00:04:32 | Speaker 7:

happens. Yeah, I don't like a salad on the first date because it's messy. Like, I think that

00:04:32 - 00:04:40 | Speaker 6:

I mean, honestly, because I've been on a few dates where girls only order salads and you just look hungry. Like, you look pitiful over there. Like, I know you want more than just

00:04:40 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 4:

salad yes and no if i get a chicken caesar that's my meal if i'm getting like a light like mary

00:04:45 - 00:05:03 | Speaker 7:

salad no i'm hungry by the way when i have have uh been out i always think that when you have a chicken caesar salad that you're not going to be kissing that night because that chicken that caesar dressing does make your breath smell fish yeah I was all about to say, look, bro, kiss me.

00:05:03 - 00:05:21 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you're okay with it? I don't care what's going on. As long as you give me a taste of your salad. Yeah, I mean, we got, whoa. If you know what I mean. I didn't really mean it that way. Can you believe that, Madison, that a guy would say that to Megan?

00:05:22 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

Yeah, I had a guy this past week where we had a convo about our concerns And if we wanted to continue dating, it'd be a relationship. And my concern with him was like political differences. His concern with me was that I occasionally ate girl dinners. So it was like random bits of meals, like a handful of grapes or bread or ice cream and had that for dinner.

00:05:43 - 00:05:54 | Speaker 6:

You're kidding me. So he didn't, he didn't, you're okay. So you guys politically didn't agree on things. That was kind of your thing that you got with this guy's only thing he could pick out was that you were somebody that eats girl dinners.

00:05:55 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:05:56 - 00:05:56 | Speaker 6:

Okay.

00:05:56 - 00:06:01 | Speaker 5:

See, this is why I now feel more uncomfortable eating around men.

00:06:01 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 7:

That couldn't be it, though. Like, unless he's some type of doctor or a personal trainer, that was an excuse. It had to be. Does he have any kind of career like that? No.

00:06:11 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 6:

No. I don't believe it. Although, I got to be honest with you. I'm not one that likes girl dinners. And, like, if that was going to be my future where all we were going to eat were girl dinners, I don't know if I'm going to be enjoying that that much.

00:06:22 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 5:

I don't know, bro. Make your own meal, then.

00:06:24 - 00:06:35 | Speaker 6:

Well, I agree. But then here's the thing, though, when you guys do girl dinners, you guys do girl dinners, then it's like we can never agree upon, hey, where do you want to go or what do you want to do? Like, that's always a hard thing.

00:06:35 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 5:

No, girl dinners specifically, we're picking out the random foods that are left over. Slice cucumber, sweet fish crackers.

00:06:40 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 6:

No, I get that. But I don't enjoy it. So it's like, what am I going to do? I have to fend for myself every single night.

00:06:46 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 5:

You say that as a man who doesn't DoorDash five days a week. Believe me. I understand.

00:06:51 - 00:06:54 | Speaker 6:

But I'd like to eat together. But Rob, what's going on, Rob?

00:06:54 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 4:

Not too much. If a lady's eating healthy, eating steak, eating Brussels sprouts, everything like that, she's one for me. She's got a healthy appetite.

00:07:03 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:07:03 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 5:

Oh, see, you said healthy appetite, and that, to me, says oink, oink, girl.

00:07:08 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 6:

Yeah. At first, I thought Rob was meaning healthy, that she's got protein and vegetables. Healthy appetite might not be the thing to say at the end, though, Rob. Oink, oink. What's up, Haley? Hi.

00:07:22 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 3:

Hi. I'm a long-time listener. First-time caller. Hey there. Oh, turn your radio down.

00:07:29 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 6:

Turn your radio down. You can still hear the last caller. I don't want to confuse you. Haley, what do you think about this, about the guy just randomly walking up to Megan and talking about her eating a big piece of meat and vegetables?

00:07:42 - 00:08:05 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, so I think it's really weird. I personally would feel uncomfortable finishing, like, eating my food. but when i am on a first date i prefer like i wouldn't eat a burger or something along those lines because i feel i do i feel weird about it and then my but my boyfriend now like we've been together for a year and some change and he tells me all the time how sexy he thinks it is that

00:08:05 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 5:

i eat whatever i want okay but what is it about a first date where you're like i'm not allowed to use fingers for my eating or like no like seems so like unattractive what do you guys order on

00:08:18 - 00:08:41 | Speaker 3:

first dates what's your first date go to like okay personally i would order a steak i could care less like yeah i don't know i want a steak but i wouldn't order like a burger or something like i would do like a chicken caesar wrap just something that's not too messy yeah i guess i get it because the burger could be all over your face i have to do a fork and knife food yeah okay

00:08:41 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 4:

yeah exactly yes what was terrifying was when wes and i went out on our like first actual date where we ate because the first time we met we went out for coffee but the first date where we had food we decided to share a few things the anxiety of going i don't want to be the one who eats more

00:08:57 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 5:

of a certain something than him yes yes it's that was for real so uncomfortable but i'm more of like

00:09:04 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 6:

a salmon rice vegetable okay that's like a great first date yeah i always loved taking girls to uh olive garden that's where chelsea and i went on our very first date and we would do all you can eat breadsticks and salad and then they had all you can eat pasta on like Tuesdays and honestly that's when I said to myself I'm like I'm marrying this Italian girl you know any girl knows how to put her pasta together but I don't think you should ever worry about that I don't think you should ever but you should never walk up to a random stranger and do that you know and then not flirt

00:09:37 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 7:

he thought he was funny that's why he went back to his boys let me tell you what I did

00:09:43 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 1:
