Picture a nurse in scrubs. Got it? Okay. Now picture a nurse wearing a windbreaker and rain boots because those can be scrubs too. In a suit at a policy meeting. Also scrubs. A high-vis vest and a hard hat? Definitely scrubs. Sun hat and bug spray? Scrubs, Florida style. Jeans and a tee? You guessed it. Still scrubs. You might think you know what a nurse looks like, but it's not what they wear. It's how they care. For us, and for all of Florida, the Florida Center for Nursing, recognizing all our state's nurses.

Ladies and gentlemen, introducing Mojo in the Morning Showtime.

00:02:52 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 3:

We'll be right back. Good morning and welcome to the Mojo in the Morning Show. It is so good to have you guys here with us today. What's happening? It's Thursday. War of the Roses happening this morning on the show. And coming up in less than an hour, actually 7 o'clock, the normal time on Thursdays for War of the Roses, a wife suspecting that her husband is cheating because a secret that he had kept for over a year and a half and now that secret has come right up to the surface. It always does, doesn't it? I'm telling you, I've learned this, guys, in all the years that I've been on this planet, that you don't lie. And the reason why you don't lie is because it's hard to keep track of them.

00:04:14 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 4:

Right? It's just so much easier to tell the truth.

00:04:16 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's like, who did I tell that to? Don't have to remember all the lies. So I learned that pretty much in a good part of my life, and that was right at the part where it could cost us. All right, so if you would like to do War of the Roses and you think that your spouse is cheating on you, text CHEATER to 95500. We now do it twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, on the Mojo in the Morning Show. Man, oh, man, the one from Tuesday. And this is the hardest part of doing a couple of these. people start are going to start comparing but the one from tuesday might have been the most epic war of the roses ever i actually believe it or not got into a con

00:05:00 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

conversation yesterday with uh the archivers of the mojo in the morning show the people for the last 23 years actually a listener of ours who's been listening for 23 years who said that they thought that that war of the roses might have been the most scandalous of all the war of the roses it was a three-way if you haven't heard it yet you can go check it out on our podcast but i promise you you know every single one of them obviously has definitely uh a listenable feel to it so all right is uh mojo in the morning show uh i'm gonna say hello to everybody hello to shannon good morning hello to megan good morning hello to mike good morning hello to kp how are you i'm good hello to lydia good morning uh 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 mike was talking to us a little bit about uh going grocery shopping yesterday and noticing that there was a little bit of nostalgia in the grocery store and we all got into a debate of whether or not anybody is really that interested in that what did you see when you were at myra yesterday so yeah i'm packing up to

00:06:09 - 00:06:29 | Speaker 3:

to go on this this road trip next week well we're leaving tonight actually and we're we're getting groceries or whatever, they have now Chuck E. Cheese pepperoni pizza, but like in the frozen section. Stop it. Hell yeah. That you can buy and then on the back, you get 200 free tickets. What?

00:06:29 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 2:

Oh my God, I hope my kids don't see that. Although I will say, I actually like Chuck E. Cheese pizza. I thought it was so

00:06:36 - 00:06:38 | Speaker 3:

gross. I didn't think there was anything good about it.

00:06:38 - 00:06:39 | Speaker 2:

But I'm not buying it to bring home.

00:06:39 - 00:06:51 | Speaker 1:

Chuck E. Cheese pizza was so, people loved it so much, Mike, that they had to make a possibility for you to be able to order it and take it out. Remember that was the big thing?

00:06:51 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 2:

Was that just during the pandemic, though?

00:06:52 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 1:

I don't know if it was during just the pandemic, but I do remember this. I remember that there was a lot of people that, there was all kinds of things with Chuck E. Cheese pizza. I mean, we all remember, right? Remember the-

00:07:02 - 00:07:03 | Speaker 6:

Shane Dawson documentary.

00:07:03 - 00:07:28 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, where he talked about how they re-served the pizza. They just re-established the pieces. But then there was the Chuck E. Cheese pizza's so good, people would like bring a kid with them that wasn't even their kid to go into a Chuck E. Cheese go in and then get a pizza and then leave and people were like why is that happening and then they decided okay we got to figure this out and then you're right the pandemic they decided that they were going to do DoorDash or something like that

00:07:28 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 5:

but you guys hear me out this is the best case scenario because it's exactly the same pizza that they serve inside the restaurant

00:07:36 - 00:07:37 | Speaker 2:

well yeah

00:07:37 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 1:

they're all frozen

00:07:39 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 4:

they're not freshly made you guys

00:07:41 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 1:

I was like, what's going on? Oh, I never knew that. They don't actually have somebody back there that's just sitting there putting the cheese on it?

00:07:47 - 00:07:52 | Speaker 6:

Absolutely no way that those are freshly made. I will. No. Absolutely not.

00:07:53 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 1:

All right. So this is interesting. So they got Chuck E. Cheese pizza. But the story that's out this morning is about another place that's now putting their stuff in grocery stores. Did you see that Wendy's is now doing Wendy's canned chili that will be at grocery stores?

00:08:09 - 00:08:10 | Speaker 6:

Is that what we're looking for, though?

00:08:10 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 3:

So when you think Wendy's, that's what you want to be sold in a grocery store is the chili? I mean, that is a popular item there.

00:08:18 - 00:08:19 | Speaker 6:

Is it for real?

00:08:19 - 00:08:20 | Speaker 2:

It's very, yeah.

00:08:20 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 6:

I don't think I've ever gone to a Wendy's and thought, mmm, chili. Yeah. You've never been to a walleye game because, man, they give out free chili like there's no tomorrow.

00:08:28 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 1:

Oh, is that what the thing is? Do you score certain goals? Free chili!

00:08:32 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 4:

That's what I do. I love it.

00:08:35 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 1:

So this is wild. It says, Wendy's founder Dave Thomas created a delicious menu item that stood the test of time when they were trying to figure out how they could not throw away any unused meat that they had that wasn't sold or hadn't been cooked. So they decided to add a chili item to the menu, and that chili item on the menu actually turned out to be a big win for them.

00:09:03 - 00:09:13 | Speaker 2:

An ex-boyfriend of mine worked for Wendy's for the longest time, and he said that was his job at the end of the night, was to chop up all the unused meat so that they could throw it in a chili for the next day.

00:09:13 - 00:09:37 | Speaker 1:

Okay, so we got that. I know that they sell White Castle burgers, too, in the frozen section, which, by the way, we have White Castle here, so it doesn't make a difference. But people who don't live in a place with a White Castle, like I know when I lived in Arizona, White Castle sliders were the big thing that everybody wanted. People would go to the store and buy that stuff And they loved it And they would have that as their dinner

00:09:37 - 00:09:43 | Speaker 4:

I feel so judged because all of these items Except for the Chuck E. Cheese pizza I'm in

00:09:43 - 00:09:50 | Speaker 2:

Don't you have a hack with the White Castle sliders? Me? I feel like you had a secret recipe You add something to it or something

00:09:50 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, you just throw as many into the microwave As makes you physically ill And then you eat them all in question You know what I wish they would put in the groceries?

00:10:00 - 00:10:17 | Speaker 4:

store is the bacon gouda sandwich from starbucks that's my favorite and and costco claims to have like a dupe of it it is not good it is not good at all it tastes like the wrapper that and the egg bites are awful i don't mind the egg bites actually but the the bacon gouda they sell the

00:10:17 - 00:10:37 | Speaker 2:

egg bites at the store uh they do they sell them well they don't sell the starbucks egg bites they sell uh if you go to a store you can find egg bites they're just not the same i don't think we have the appropriate way to heat them up, you know, put them in a microwave kind of makes them gross. The other one is, what about McDonald's French fries? Like, you can get Orida fries or whatever it is, and you can heat them up.

00:10:38 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 6:

You can get Rally's fries. Or Rally's fries are good.

00:10:40 - 00:10:52 | Speaker 3:

But that makes sense. Those make sense. The chili does not. The cheese pizza or the pepperoni pizza from Chuck E. Cheese doesn't make sense. Why not do Frosty's or French fries?

00:10:53 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 2:

Well, Frosty's is another one. Why would they go right to the chili and not do a Frosty, which to me is their item?

00:11:00 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 4:

Remember when TGI Fridays released the line of all of their alcoholic or their cocktail mixers, like the mudslides and all that stuff? I don't think you can buy that stuff anymore. But we need to do something like that, like where you can make it in your blender or something.

00:11:16 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 2:

What needs to be carried in stores? I know that they do have Chick-fil-A sauce, right? You can go buy the bottle of the Chick-fil-A sauce.

00:11:23 - 00:11:30 | Speaker 6:

You can buy a bottle of Taco Bell hot sauces because, you know, I've really sat in a drive-thru before and thought, I need an entire pint of this.

00:11:31 - 00:11:36 | Speaker 2:

They actually sell that? I didn't know that. Taco Bell will sell the—they bottle the sauces.

00:11:36 - 00:11:38 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, and Panda Express bottles all of their sauces, too.

00:11:38 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 2:

Interesting, because I know that they do have the Taco Bell shells, and they'll have the Taco Bell seasoning and all the rest of that.

00:11:43 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 3:

You know what I saw McDonald's is doing now, too? The Big Mac sauce. Oh, man. The Dipping Sauce, the Big Mac Dipping Sauce.

00:11:50 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 6:

It's also just called Thousand Island.

00:11:51 - 00:11:56 | Speaker 4:

their sweet and sour taste different than anything else i wish they would sell that

00:11:56 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 2:

um kyle what's going on buddy hey good morning i want you guys to meet kyle kyle is a huge mojo in the morning listener and yesterday as we're talking about food and what food you want to have there both kyle and i were sitting in a waiting room at michigan medicine u of m hospital in the cardiology department because both of us had have like heart issues what's going on kyle How are you?

00:12:21 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 1:

00:12:29 - 00:12:42 | Speaker 2:

This guy was so cute with his kids. He brought his kids with him because he had an appointment, and his kids were so good. Like, they behaved themselves better than any kid. Your kids behave themselves better than these guys do here. So I just want you to know that.

00:12:43 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 1:

Thank you. Thank you. I was raised the correct way. My mom didn't really allow us to run around too much like out in public, so I give a lot of credit to that.

00:12:53 - 00:13:09 | Speaker 2:

That's awesome. Hey, quick question for you, and don't tell your doctor we're talking about this, but Chuck E. Cheese Pizza, Wendy's Chili, or we'll go Chick-fil-A sauce. Out of the three, which one would be in your cart at a grocery store?

00:13:09 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 1:

um i'm really big on the uh can stuff so i'm i'm kind of excited for the chili honestly yeah i like the i like the denny more beach stews and uh oh yes yeah i'm a hormel chili girl but i'm kind of

00:13:26 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 2:

like the sand i'm sorry yeah kyle did your doctor not talk to you about sodium and how you had to

00:13:30 - 00:13:37 | Speaker 1:

keep your sodium down yes that's uh that's one of my failures that in the water intake yeah well

00:13:37 - 00:13:40 | Speaker 2:

It was great meeting you yesterday, buddy. You're awesome.

00:13:40 - 00:13:49 | Speaker 1:

It was very wonderful. Thank you for the picture. I'm a celebrity and a hero to my kids for that because I listen every day.

00:13:49 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 2:

I love it. Go green.

00:13:51 - 00:13:53 | Speaker 1:

Yes, of course. Go white, always.

00:13:53 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 2:

Big Michigan State fan, too. It was good to get a chance to meet him. Yesterday was the first time I've gone into Michigan, University of Michigan Hospital, without a mask on. And I realized how great it is to not have a mask on because then people start coming up to you and say hey yeah listen to you yeah what's going on before when you would wear the mask i just look like a fat guy with a mask uh what's going on now i'm just a fat guy without

00:14:17 - 00:14:33 | Speaker 5:

a mask what's up jackie how you doing oh i was just calling in i figured uh megan would be excited not only does taco bell sell their sauces you can get rb sauce and the rb3 pepper sauce at a store, too, now. Hell, yeah. Hell, yeah.

00:14:34 - 00:14:42 | Speaker 2:

Do they sell everything else to make, like, a sandwich? Like, do they sell the curly fries? Because I love the curly fries. I love them, too. Ooh, I think they do.

00:14:42 - 00:14:47 | Speaker 5:

I don't know if they do the curly fries. I know they have the checkers fries, which are the curly fries. Yeah. Almost good.

00:14:48 - 00:14:56 | Speaker 2:

The other thing, too, at Arby's that's great is the shakes. Their Ghirardelli chocolate shake and their Jamocha shakes are, like, the best.

00:14:56 - 00:14:59 | Speaker 4:

I haven't had an Arby's shake in forever. They're so freaking good. I know.

00:14:59 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 2:

What's up, Brian?

00:15:00 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 6:

Ryan, how you doing?

00:15:01 - 00:15:02 | Speaker 4:

Pretty good. How about you?

00:15:03 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 6:

Good. This shows you how good Wendy's Chili is. Ryan, what's your story?

00:15:08 - 00:15:24 | Speaker 4:

So, one day I entered a chili cook-off, and me and the boys went and got a little too tipsy the night before. I forgot to get anything for the chili cook-off. So, I went and bought $40 worth of chili and put it in a crock pot.

00:15:24 - 00:15:25 | Speaker 2:

No.

00:15:25 - 00:15:47 | Speaker 4:

And entered into a chili cook-off and won it. No. Oh, that's funny. So my wife and my mother-in-law both entered into a chili cook-off, and somehow they was wondering how I won it because my wife was like, would you cook? I said, pick a recipe.

00:15:47 - 00:16:16 | Speaker 6:

That's awesome. That is such a great story. Listen to this. Listeners are texting in with their things that they love the most. And Annie's Pretzels. So if they carry those in stores, I don't think that they do. I don't know. Jimmy John's Ranch. I've never actually noticed that the ranch at Jimmy John's was good. I'll have to try that next time. They say that they sell Buffalo Wild Wings sauces in stores. I know they sell it in their own stores. I don't know if it's in the grocery stores. And then if you're an Olive Garden fan, Amy, what is it?

00:16:17 - 00:16:21 | Speaker 5:

We need their breadsticks in the frozen section. Oh, that's a great idea.

00:16:21 - 00:16:28 | Speaker 6:

I'm surprised that it's not At least like a Costco Or Sam's Club you know

00:16:28 - 00:16:38 | Speaker 5:

It would be the best idea ever We've gotten them as carry out And like bake them at home before from the restaurant So they need to jump on this idea They would make so much money

00:16:38 - 00:16:50 | Speaker 6:

Do you ever notice that You could get them as you know To go put them in your to go box And days later they still Have a little bit of softness to them Which makes me wonder what's inside of those breadsticks

00:16:51 - 00:16:54 | Speaker 5:

Well, at this point, nothing is good for you to eat. Correct. Yeah.

00:16:55 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 6:

And people are calling out Megan right now. Why are you not saying anything from Raising Cane's? Because you're such a fan.

00:17:02 - 00:17:05 | Speaker 3:

I didn't think they sold Raising Cane's sauce.

00:17:05 - 00:17:07 | Speaker 6:

Do they have the Raising Cane's sauce?

00:17:07 - 00:17:20 | Speaker 3:

Well, there was a disgruntled employee once who posted the recipe online. Let me tell you, it is the actual recipe if you find it. Oh, so you could just make it homemade. Yeah. It's real easy.

00:17:20 - 00:17:23 | Speaker 6:

Zaline, they do have Arby's French fries at stores?

00:17:23 - 00:17:27 | Speaker 5:

They do. What? They do. They're so good, too.

00:17:27 - 00:17:29 | Speaker 6:

That's wild. Let's check that out in the frozen food station. What store?

00:17:30 - 00:17:30 | Speaker 4:

Where have you seen them?

00:17:32 - 00:17:33 | Speaker 5:

I've seen them at...

00:17:33 - 00:17:34 | Speaker 6:

Not Trader Joe's.

00:17:35 - 00:17:38 | Speaker 5:

I've seen them at Meyers, too. Okay. Really?

00:17:38 - 00:17:44 | Speaker 6:

Wow. That's where you got to go. You got to go to the big box stores. They always get it first. And then this one might be the best one. David?

00:17:46 - 00:17:48 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. Good morning, everybody. Good morning, man.

00:17:48 - 00:17:51 | Speaker 6:

We're getting hungry talking about all this stuff

00:17:51 - 00:17:59 | Speaker 4:

Oh, I am too I just got off of work They should have red lobster biscuits In the frozen aisle I thought they do

00:17:59 - 00:18:03 | Speaker 6:

Do they? Yeah, you can make them, I think You can make them?

00:18:04 - 00:18:07 | Speaker 3:

They're like in the frozen section, you bake them Really? Yeah

00:18:07 - 00:18:09 | Speaker 6:

I did not know that

00:18:09 - 00:18:12 | Speaker 4:

I'm going to have to check it out next time Oh, they sure do

00:18:12 - 00:18:15 | Speaker 3:

Walmart, Walmart, Meijer Have them

00:18:15 - 00:18:20 | Speaker 6:

That and T says Texas Roadhouse bread, right?

00:18:21 - 00:18:27 | Speaker 5:

Yes. They have the best bread ever with their butter, their honey butter.

00:18:27 - 00:18:29 | Speaker 6:

Is it just as good when you do it at home?

00:18:30 - 00:18:35 | Speaker 5:

It is, but you have to do it the right way. You have to put it in either the air fryer or the oven.

00:18:35 - 00:18:41 | Speaker 6:

The air fryer has made everything so much better that you heat up or bring home.

00:18:41 - 00:18:42 | Speaker 3:

I love that air fryer.

00:18:42 - 00:18:43 | Speaker 6:

I want one so bad.

00:18:43 - 00:18:47 | Speaker 3:

I use mine like every day. I do, too. I cannot believe I waited so long to buy one.

00:18:47 - 00:18:51 | Speaker 6:

And Ari, this is a great one for dessert. What is it?

00:18:51 - 00:18:55 | Speaker 5:

I need that Cinnabon cream cheese icing in the store.

00:18:56 - 00:18:57 | Speaker 6:

I just want it, honestly.

00:18:57 - 00:18:59 | Speaker 3:

Wait, we need to order Cinnabon.

00:18:59 - 00:19:03 | Speaker 6:

I want Cinnabon icing just as soup. Wait, can we DoorDash Cinnabon?

00:19:03 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 3:

I don't know, but now it's in my head. I hate that you guys have a Cinnabon.

00:19:08 - 00:19:08 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:19:09 - 00:19:09 | Speaker 3:

You must be so jealous.

00:19:10 - 00:19:14 | Speaker 6:

Next time everybody's here, we'll do a Cinnabon day. Well, I'll just go to the food court and go hang out.

00:19:15 - 00:19:45 | Speaker 1:
