All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. So we are going out of town this weekend. My niece Madeline is getting married. My sister Tracy and my brother-in-law Scott's oldest daughter. We're so proud. This is actually the first of any of my siblings and our kids getting married. So that scares me because then that means that puts it on the table for Joe, Jacob, and Luke, you know, that there is a possibility. I still think, like, they're way too young to get married, but Madeline and Joe are, like, the same age. Well, we're leaving town, and we needed to send the dogs off to Marissa, who is our friend that will watch Henry and Louis, our two dogs. So yesterday I was dropping them off so that we can leave the show, go right to the airport, get on an airplane, and go down to Florida where they're getting married. I get a phone call from my friend Paul, and he and his wife were very upset when they found out that we weren't letting them watch Henry and Louie. They always have wanted to watch them because when they come over to our house, they always feel like the dogs love them. And the dogs, honestly, they love anybody that will pet them, right? Yeah, give them attention. But they do love these guys. I cannot let them watch them. And here's the reason why. About a year ago, they were watching a dog for a friend of Paul's that was at work or whatever. And they were watching a dog while this friend and his family were going on a cruise. And the dog died while they were pet sitting. How? The dog got sick. And you know how it is? Have you ever had a dog?

This dog was not doing well, and it happened really, really fast, and it was nothing that anybody could do other than it was some genetic thing. Well, long story short, Paul and his wife Beth did not call those guys. They let them finish their entire vacation And then waited until they got home To tell them that the dog died And I think That was freaking horrible I don't know about you Yes I think that that's like A bad idea and I don't know Why they wouldn't Pick up the phone Even though they're on a cruise Send them a text and say hey

But if I'm on a vacation, I'm there to enjoy myself. I'm with my family. The last thing I want to know is that an extension of my family is dead. And there's literally nothing I can do. I'm on a cruise in the middle of the-

There's a lot of good stuff you can do. You have to figure out where the dog goes. The trip is ruined. The dog. I don't know. Life still is happening while you're on vacation, unfortunately.

Here's the thing for us. Our dogs obviously don't mean as much to me as they mean to Chelsea and the boys. But it's like their family to them, they're an expense to me. And to me, I'd be fine with it. But my wife and my kids would be so upset.

So here's the thing. I feel like I don't take vacations that often, and I love my animals, but it's not like a family member where you have to get to a funeral. You keep that bad booing in the cooler. You let them enjoy the $5,000 that they spent to get out there. You can't do anything anyway. You're just going to ruin their time, and then you deal with it when they get back.

Why is it that that doesn't surprise me, that that would be your reasoning behind why you would not want to be called?

Listen, if you're going on a cruise, the probability of you having any internet or service is very, very low. So if on day two you told me that my dog died and I can't get home and there's nothing I can do, and I just spent $5,000 to be sad on a boat, no thank you. We're no longer friends. A real friend would hide my dog's death for me.

They asked me to watch their house. I walk in their house every couple days, you know, feed the fish, feed the cat. I walk in one day, and I'm like, wow, it smells kind of fishy in here. They go over to the fish tank, every fish, including the sucker fish, dead.
