Mojo in the Morning. I just told a very funny story about why people should not name their dogs what they name their dogs.

So I was on my way into a coffee shop and I hear this lady yelling, Mason Mason I look over and she looks distraught she's like Mason and I thought oh my god there's a lost kid in this parking lot and it's on a very busy four-lane road right by the road you know and I'm like I run over like I'm gonna help her and within a second I realize she's holding a leash and she was walking her dog and somehow the dog got loose she's looking for her dog well as soon as she yells as soon as i get over there the dog comes running up to her and i'm like for a second i had a heart attack like oh my god help this woman mason and then i realized it's a dog and i'm like you can't name a dog a human name that is not a dog name mason is a little kid's name no no i was oh of course megan's gonna say that i'm very offended i feel personally attacked

Megan named Coraline, Coraline.

I can't believe you remembered.

Although, why do you always seem so amazed when I know the name of your dog or brother? I don't know. Do I have dementia or something like that? Are you worried about it?

No, I never say my brother's name. And then you had a hard time remembering my dog's name for a very, very long time. That's right. Yeah, but my dog's name is Coraline.

Actually, the first time I heard you say Coraline, I thought to myself, I'm like, is that somebody in the studio with her? But Mason, I will say this, Spike. I'm going to agree with Spike on this one because there are certain names that Mason is a little kid's name. You can't name a dog Mason.

I panicked, and I was like, no, no, no, no, don't do that. No one should Aside from this whole emergency situation Nobody should name their dog A name that's clearly your child's name

She was probably Thought you were very sweet for doing that Because you should equally Want to help a person Whose child or dog is missing

No and it's funny because I would have Probably been even just as excited to help Find a dog that was loose But in the mindset for a second I panicked like call the cops Oh my god, I'm going to run in traffic and stop traffic And then I don't know why I thought, well obviously I would still be Just as concerned about a missing dog But at that moment I was annoyed at her for fooling me

I will say this though That the part that I think is weird about People that name their dogs After like relatives of theirs Like I knew somebody that one time Named their dog after their Uncle who had passed And I have to tell you that I think that's very nice that you're thinking of your uncle But don't you think your uncle deserves more than just getting a dog's name?

Right. I know. And remember, I believe we got a call once, and I don't know if that listener is still calling because I don't remember her name. But they stole – she was about to have a baby, and her sister got a dog and named the dog what she was going to name her child. No. I can't remember what that girl's name was. But I would have been so pissed at my sister for that.

How about some of these ones here? All four of my dogs are human names Max, Madeline, Riley And Emma That does sound like a kindergarten class Nowadays doesn't it

Are we listing them as dependents on our IRS forms

So Joe is here, and Joe is my son. He doesn't call them our dogs. What do you call them?

Well, I always remembered Lily, who was the greatest human dog ever to walk the earth. I know Mojo's dog's name. Lily was a dog. Lily, you don't ever talk about these dogs

except to call them little s words that's true lily by the way you would look into lily's eyes and you would see lily's soul because lily was a human yeah what are our dog's names

Henry and Louie and good boy Henry and Louie how do you not know Henry and Louie I remembered

Henry I couldn't remember Louie actually the funniest is uh so Henry is spelled h-e-n-r-i Henri Louie is spelled Louie But people call Louie Lewis So Marissa who dog sits For Louie and Henry Calls Henry and Lewis And I never correct her But it sounds so smart They sound like smart dogs And your dog is Dublin Which Dublin is a great name But that's a perfect name for a dog Because you're naming Dublin after Your favorite city

Yeah, there's no confusion. I don't think anyone's going to think I'm talking to a toddler. Although I have seen trendy baby names now where they are naming after cities. And then there's Ashley, who hates dogs, right? Cats all day, baby.

She named her dog D-O-G, and it took me like a full year to realize what it was actually spelling out, which is D-O-G, dog.

Wait. Oh, my gosh. How does she spell it?

D-O-G. Like, it's spelled D-O-G, and her name was D-O-G.

So when you say it, it's D, the letter D-O-G, not D-E-E, and then O-G. Like, it's actually spelled D-O-G.

But she's also named D-O-G.

Can you call, like, can you have a dog that's name is just Dog? Like, doesn't that look like you kidnapped the dog?

I don't know. I thought it was pretty weird myself. Like, I spent a full year just not getting it, and everyone was laughing every time, like, I would bring it up. And I'm like, I don't understand.

Question for you. How much weed do you guys partake in?
