I did something that probably was not wise, and my lovely wife, Chelsea, was really upset about it. Now, I talk about times that I make Chelsea upset a lot. I know that. That's kind of like my cliche topic, so to speak. But I will tell you, this was a funny story, and I'm going to tell you anyway. So we were having dinner, and we decided that we were going to order appetizers. we decided we were going to order buffalo wings. Okay. And I'm the type of person that when I'm out at a restaurant, I end up talking to the tables by us. You know, I end up having conversations with people. So I turn around and I look at these guys that are there sitting at the table. And I said, hey, what's going on, fellas? And the one guy goes, everything's good. Hey, how are the wings here? And I said, you know what? You want one?

00:02:21 - 00:02:22 | Speaker 5:

Is this so you?

00:02:22 - 00:03:11 | Speaker 3:

The guy says yes. It's a random, right? Oh, I'm shocked. It's a rando. Don't hang out with this guy. Not a, okay. So I go, okay, I grab, I've never usually had somebody take me up on it. But I'm thinking, okay, I don't know if this guy's calling my bluff or what. I grab the bowl full of wings, which, by the way, had a tong with it, okay? Very important. And I grab it, and I hand it right over to the guy. He doesn't use the tong. Use his fingers. He grabbed one with his fingers, but I noticed where he grabbed. He was not grabbing others. Here's where the problem goes. Hold on a second. My wife is on the phone, so let me grab her real quick. Chelsea, are you there? Here's where the problem goes. Maybe Chelsea, you'd like to describe what the guy did with the wing in his hand.

00:03:13 - 00:03:51 | Speaker 5:

So then he took the wing that he grabbed with his fingers out of the bowl and reached over me and dipped it in my ranch you have got to be kidding me and as his arm went over me and dipped in the ranch i literally looked at him and said what the f the word because gross and he just looked at me like how could you speak like that and then um ate the wing and then ensued the silent treatment for the rest of the evening and i'm assuming you

00:03:51 - 00:04:16 | Speaker 3:

did not then finish said bowl of wings she she didn't touch one more yeah i ate them all i was like going going crazy i i but here's the thing though chel so chelsea then we then we get into a a little bit of a discussion because Chelsea you have the belief that I don't when I'm when you're out with me give you my undivided attention because of not just my phone I talk to other

00:04:16 - 00:04:33 | Speaker 5:

people before I talk right right yeah right right yeah yeah so it was ignoring me and going over to another table taking a bowl of wings and giving them the ball it was the whole thing the part

00:04:33 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 3:

that where it got really and it was bad i i will say this to you it is amazing that we have i think i'm still married no no no it is we do have moments where there are moments where i go god tom that was a really stupid thing this was one of those moments like i realized okay she's right like that was dumb you know i gotta stop being so so you know friendly and stuff like that um the rest of the dinner here.

00:05:00 - 00:05:08 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea, you ordered like a steak and a baked potato or something, didn't you? The rest of the dinner, Chelsea's like, do you want to give him some of this?

00:05:10 - 00:05:37 | Speaker 3:

Did he send over a drink or anything? No. See, no, that's what you meant. So look, I'm not mad that you offered the guy a wing. I'm not mad that he grabbed it. I'm a little mad, but as long as you only touch the one that you're about to eat and your knuckle doesn't scrape, you don't got hairy-ass knuckles that scrape, none of that stuff, I'm good. Do not dip your wing in our ranch. Don't do that. That's too far. And then you don't send a drink over afterwards is even crazier.

00:05:37 - 00:05:39 | Speaker 2:

The wing in the ranch thing I did not expect.

00:05:39 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 3:

That is crazy. Nobody expected that.

00:05:42 - 00:05:47 | Speaker 2:

I was like, this son of a bitch doesn't know who he's messing with. Have you ever heard Chelsea?

00:05:47 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 1:

Well, you could have taken a wing and put it on a plate and give it to him. Or napkin.

00:05:52 - 00:05:52 | Speaker 3:

True.

00:05:53 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 2:

Like made him a plate like a mom does for her child. Make him a little plate.

00:05:57 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 1:

Well, yes. You are a child and we should have done that. Threw it to him like a sea lion.

00:06:03 - 00:06:18 | Speaker 2:

My question to ask is, was I being friendly or did I totally cross the line by offering a stranger food off of our plate? I think you were good. Thank you, Kevin. See, Chelsea, Kevin agrees with me. And Kevin's single, so.

00:06:18 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 3:

No, listen, I would have done this if I was 30 or 40 years deep like y'all are. I don't know.

00:06:24 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 1:

I feel like Wes always does this when we're out. somebody else will get food at the table next to us and he'll interrupt them and be like, excuse me, what did you order? Like, what is that? I would never expect anybody to be like, want a bite? Like, want to try it? Which is what this man did, essentially.

00:06:41 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 2:

Do you think people think that it's rude? Because I do that with, like, Wes does. I always will ask them questions about their food.

00:06:46 - 00:06:52 | Speaker 1:

I just, I always tell him, I'm like, why don't you just ask the waiter? Ask the waiter what it is. Like, point to that table. I like to get, like,

00:06:52 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 2:

the real review. You know what I mean? I like to have the honest answer.

00:06:59 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 3:

I'm good with a little conversation between tables.

00:07:02 - 00:07:02 | Speaker 2:

That's cool.

00:07:03 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 3:

Dipping in the ranch. Hey, bro, is that good? And people are typically extremely friendly. Yeah. Like, they'll respond and give you the real.

00:07:09 - 00:07:19 | Speaker 2:

My favorite is, and Chelsea and I laughed about this, Scott Conrad, our friend Scott Conrad, will you tell everybody what he does with strangers' foods?

00:07:20 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

Well, with mine, he always finishes my food. He'll say, was that good? I'm like, yeah. Can I have the rest? Absolutely. What do I care? If Scott Conrad is... Oh, and I'm done. Yeah.

00:07:30 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 2:

If he's at the same restaurant that we're at and he's eating dinner with his family or coming in as we're getting ready to leave, he will literally eat the remains off of Chelsea's plate.

00:07:45 - 00:07:46 | Speaker 1:

Well, I order well.

00:07:49 - 00:07:53 | Speaker 2:

See, if it was Scott Conrad grabbing a wing, Chelsea knows where his fingers have been.

00:07:53 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

I know, Scott. That's so different.

00:07:57 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 2:

You didn't know this guy. Hold on, Miranda. No, neither did you. Miranda, what did you want to say? Hi.

00:08:04 - 00:08:07 | Speaker 1:

Hi. I am on Chelsea's side 100%.

00:08:07 - 00:08:18 | Speaker 2:

Everybody is. Believe me. Seriously. If it was a jury of my peers, they would be Chelsea's peers, and I would get found guilty instantly. Miranda.

00:08:19 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 1:

Yes, put me on the jury. Yeah.

00:08:21 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 2:

Miranda, do you like buffalo wings? Because I'll let you try some of ours next time.

00:08:28 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 3:

All right.

00:08:30 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 2:

Talk to you later. No, I'm good, but thanks. I love it. The funny thing was after that, like after Chels got really upset with me, like it was one of those things where I'm like, oh, she is definitely like really pissed. Like this is not acting pissed. I did look over at the guy and I'm thinking, should I give him one of the wet wipes? Oh, my gosh. Is there something that I could do? All right. I love you, Chelsea. I'll talk to you later. Okay.

00:08:53 - 00:08:54 | Speaker 1:

I love you. Bye.

00:08:54 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

By the way, is it okay for me to go outside and play today, or do I have to stay inside of the house and not-

00:09:00 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 1:

No, we have to stay inside if it's bad. Nope.

00:09:02 - 00:09:04 | Speaker 2:

No. Okay. All right. Thank you.

00:09:05 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 3:

Everybody agreed with her on that, too. Everybody. No, she was true about shit. You're just taking L's. She's looking out, bro.

00:09:09 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 2:

By tonight, it will be clean. It will be good.

00:09:11 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

I don't think so. I think tomorrow, we're still going to have a little haze, too. You think so? Yeah. I think it's just magazines not going to go out. I mean, I have an event tomorrow. Let's see if they cancel it. Wait, where's your event? Plug it. I don't know. Next commercial, I'll do it.

00:09:24 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 2:

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 6:

And then do this. Pick up the phone if you get a call from an out-of-area number. That's how we'll tell you that you won. This is the first of $13,000 that we'll give away today.

00:10:10 - 00:10:40 | Speaker 5:

iHeartRadio and Mojo in the morning. All right, where are you at, Kev? Yeah, so I'll be in Palmer Park tomorrow from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. It is Detroit's Public Safety Fun Day. So this is something for the family. It'll go until 5 p.m., but we'll have bounce houses, tons of family activities, giveaways, free hot dogs. You can come get a glizzy if you want. What's a glizzy? A hot dog. A hot dog. Is that what they call it, a hot dog? Mm-hmm. A glizzy. Yeah. Why is that it? Some glizzy gobblers out there.

00:10:41 - 00:10:47 | Speaker 6:

It was National Hot Dog Day the other day, and we didn't do anything on our show about it. We should have had a hot dog.

00:10:47 - 00:10:50 | Speaker 5:

We should have had a hot dog eating contest. No.

00:10:50 - 00:10:58 | Speaker 6:

Yeah, he's got our chestnut on. We don't need a contest for everything. We just need... There's only one... It's all between us.

00:10:58 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 5:

It could have been like a social thing. I like it.

00:11:00 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 6:

All right, so again, Palmer. I never thought you would turn down an opportunity to eat. I can't do the food. I'm on a GLP-1. I'm on a weight loss shop. That's true. So the problem is if I gear up for something like this, I want to win. Because I know I'm not really athletic, but I know food.

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 5:

Have you ever had a food contest or eating competition?

00:11:20 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 6:

I did a hot dog contest once back in Tucson at KRQ. and I think I did a wings contest in downtown Pontiac.

00:11:31 - 00:11:33 | Speaker 5:

Wings would be fire. Yeah. How did you do in the hot dog contest?

00:11:34 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 6:

I didn't do good because the bread, but the wings contest, it was, oh gosh, I'm trying to think of who it was. It was one of the TV people that I might have been. Something against? Yeah, it might have been Dina Santafonte or something like that.

00:11:50 - 00:11:50 | Speaker 2:

She did the contest?

00:11:51 - 00:11:58 | Speaker 6:

Yes, there was like people from other TV stations, radio stations and stuff like that. if I'm not mistaken.

00:11:58 - 00:12:03 | Speaker 1:

A wing contest would be hard to judge because how do you judge if it's properly eaten enough? Unless it's boneless, I guess.

00:12:03 - 00:12:06 | Speaker 6:

It was bones. Yeah, how many bones you had on the plate. You're right, though.

00:12:06 - 00:12:09 | Speaker 5:

Everybody don't eat chicken the same. Yeah. Palmer Park. Ammon.

00:12:10 - 00:12:10 | Speaker 6:

Tomorrow.

00:12:12 - 00:12:27 | Speaker 4:
