It's a mojo in the morning. So I went to Nordstrom's and after the show, I had to go and uh, pick up a couple of things. I, I've been doing this thing now where I do the Nordstrom's order and then you pick it up. I, uh, kind of like it because you can do the curbside thing or you can go inside and I ended up going inside and just picking it up at like their service counter. So I'm walking into the store and there are two people coming from the parking lot. It was kind of like this guy that looked kind of like Chaldean-ish, you know, he was like a dark complected kind of an older dude like maybe like I'm guessing like 40 something and this much younger very attractive I don't know they looked like they could have been uh Kardashians or something I don't know you know what I mean like they were good looking people and I held the door open for them or kept the door there holding it open and they walked up to the door and the guy grabbed the door but wouldn't let the girl go through the door with me holding it and he wouldn't go through the door with me holding it and i was like this is kind of weird so i was like stood there for no reason at all so i'm holding the door to hold it open for them and he was like no and he kind of like grabbed it and he goes you go ahead and i go oh no i want to hold he goes no go ahead the guy was like offended that i was going to hold the door open for him and he was i think was more offended i was going to hold the door open for her yeah and i don't know if he thought Like, when they were walking in, I was going to, like, check her ass out or something like that. But is it, can I throw this out there? And, Lydia, maybe you can help me with this thing. Because I don't think they were, actually, I don't think the guy was Chaldean. I think the guy might have been, like, of Latin descent or something like that. I never know. I think everybody's Italian. When I first moved to Detroit years ago, I thought that every person that was, that had, like, a dark-complected look was an Eastside Italian person or something. I don't know. You've been in Arizona too long. Well, in Arizona, we didn't have Chaldeans. In Arizona, all we had, there was cultures that we didn't have out there when I lived there. But that has nothing to do with the story. I don't know why I digress. Kevin, you and I are going to have an air check session later. I just pulled a Kevin there on that one. I'm like over explaining my story on this whole deal. uh we'll sit down at the end of the show with dennis clark and do a check on this um is it like uh i don't know is it bad to hold the door open for people like why and has anybody ever had this happen to them where they held the door open and a person wouldn't even go through the

00:04:27 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 2:

door sometimes those situations are just like a big massive confusion though and i wonder if like playing devil's advocate a little bit if he just felt bad that you had he had seen that you had holding the door for a minute so he was like no no i gotta go ahead but you really think it was like tailored to the fact that this his girlfriend or wife or whatever was walking through shannon he

00:04:48 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 5:

like it almost kind of looked like he was angry or annoyed yeah like it looked like i was i i got myself involved in like a domestic or something you know this is a guy thing for sure

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 4:

I think it's territorial, and I hate to say that, but it's almost like this is my woman.

00:05:05 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 5:

Yeah.

00:05:06 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 4:

I have to hold the door open for her because either if you do it, I don't look like the man that I'm, quote, unquote, supposed to be. Yeah. Or it makes me feel less of a man to have another man hold the door open for my girl. Really? I've had this exact same situation where you can just tell on his face. And I don't want to say I'm assuming a position that someone is taking and maybe they aren't because I like when you play the devil's advocate, even though you don't need no advocate. I like that perspective, but it's territorial for sure.

00:05:33 - 00:05:57 | Speaker 5:

I felt like I was in bed with these guys or something. You know what I mean? Like I got caught. Like I felt like it was like, you know, one of those situations where you're in, you know, you hear these people all the time. I caught my man in bed. Like I felt like this guy was going to beat my ass or something. It was weird. It was just a weird situation. And I hate, can I say this too? I hate when you hold the door open for a person and they know you're holding the door open specifically for them

00:05:57 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 8:

and they won't go through your door they'll go through another door another door what's up amy

00:06:03 - 00:06:11 | Speaker 5:

hi hi i don't think it was you what do you think it was her bodyguard oh come on what did she need

00:06:11 - 00:06:17 | Speaker 3:

a bodyguard maybe you said she looked like a kardashian well no she was what i meant is she

00:06:17 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 5:

was she was like a beautiful you know uh had long flowing hair uh was they were dressed really nice I mean, they both were. This guy had more gold on his frickin' arm. He was also a bracelet guy. What's up with bracelet guys? I love it.

00:06:33 - 00:06:36 | Speaker 7:

You do? I do. A guy who wears jewelry is so hot.

00:06:37 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 4:

Is there a limit to how many bracelets to be a bracelet guy?

00:06:40 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 5:

One. You should only have one.

00:06:42 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 8:

A bracelet and a watch is okay.

00:06:44 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 5:

I don't like the guys that wear like 20 bracelets on one arm where it's going all the way up. I feel like you can't trust them. What's up, Christina? Hi.

00:06:53 - 00:07:09 | Speaker 1:

hi i was holding the door open for an older man with a walker and he went through the door and said i'm not saying thank you wait why i i don't know that's so rude

00:07:09 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 5:

that's nuts you should have kicked his walker out from it it does drive me crazy though when

00:07:18 - 00:07:30 | Speaker 8:

somebody is right in front of you and doesn't hold the door and i i get very passive aggressive and i will say thank you yeah by the way when they don't it's so rude that they don't hold the door

00:07:30 - 00:07:55 | Speaker 5:

though the other thing too is i don't know how many people do i have to hold the door for i've talked about this before on the air where i've held the door zach am i tiring you here are you a little tired over there you can give me another yawn or sorry i didn't have that was an audible um i i hate i hate when i don't know exactly how many to hold the door for like where there's like five or six people that keep walking through and i'm at a point going i'd like to go in

00:07:55 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 3:

olivia what's up hi hey you know i'm hispanic right yes that man was my people that was definitely like uh you can't even look at my girl thing like hispanic man look at the man's property A, I will never date one because I'm nobody's property. But it's a culture thing.

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Really?

00:08:15 - 00:08:21 | Speaker 3:

And I don't know if it's like, it is. It just is. I'll never understand that. Maybe that's why I left in 1998.

00:08:23 - 00:08:24 | Speaker 5:

That's interesting.

00:08:25 - 00:08:28 | Speaker 3:

If you even look at it, they think all the men want their woman.

00:08:29 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 2:

Yeah.

00:08:29 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 3:

They think all the Latino women want them. It's very interesting. It's so funny. It's definitely that.

00:08:36 - 00:08:56 | Speaker 5:

You know, my dad's Cuban. I know that I don't sound it or even look it, but my dad was never really like that. My dad, you know, he was just a respectful guy. But I could kind of see that. I think it is a cultural thing, though. I definitely, that's what I kind of felt was that it was one of those things where you shouldn't be, you know, touching my door.

00:08:56 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 3:

100%. Keldean men for sure. That's not everybody, okay? That's our desolation, you know, the stereotype.

00:09:02 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 5:

Hey, Lydia, what would your old man do if another man held the door open for your mom?

00:09:09 - 00:09:11 | Speaker 6:

My dad will totally let that fly.

00:09:12 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

He's okay with it?

00:09:12 - 00:09:17 | Speaker 6:

He's like, please, go ahead. Take her. Take her home with you. George. He's like, I'm busy.

00:09:17 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 5:

Take her home with you. Is your dad romantic with your mom?

00:09:21 - 00:09:22 | Speaker 7:

Not even a little bit.

00:09:23 - 00:09:23 | Speaker 5:

Really?

00:09:23 - 00:09:28 | Speaker 7:

No. I don't see that. And if I ever find out that they have sex, I'll be sick. Oh, my God.

00:09:28 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 4:

They're in the bed right now. They can't wait until you leave in the morning to come here.

00:09:31 - 00:09:32 | Speaker 7:

Do you want me to go home sick?

00:09:32 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 5:

Do you think that when you leave, because what time? You leave at like 4 or 15 or something like that for work? Do you think that your mom and dad just like go crazy?

00:09:40 - 00:09:44 | Speaker 7:

Oh, my God. Ew. Let's call Zyane and ask her.

00:09:44 - 00:09:45 | Speaker 5:

Yeah. Can we call?

00:09:45 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 7:

She'll say that they haven't had sex in like 10 years. I guarantee it if I call her.

00:09:49 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 5:

Really?

00:09:50 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 7:

Oh, yeah. Let's ask her. Hold on.

00:09:51 - 00:09:55 | Speaker 5:

Let me call her. Really? There's no way that they haven't had sex in 10 years.

00:09:55 - 00:09:57 | Speaker 7:

That's disgusting. Do we have to keep talking about it? I'll call her.

00:09:57 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

There's no way that you're.

00:10:00 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 9:

dad is not like having some fun i also think mojo you should call her because i think she's gonna say oh my mom's not picking up how weird yeah let me call here put her up there and then

00:10:11 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 7:
