Yeah, this is a problem because on the way in the bar, this lovely girl named Haley said, where's Meg? We want to meet Meg. And I said, she's coming to the bar today. She said, we don't get enough of Meg on the air. I said, that's by design, because I don't want her to tell her side of the story. I want to be able to lie on the air and get away with it.

And actually, it's funny, because St. Patrick's Day is a day, because you guys, St. Patrick's Day has history with you guys, right? And being able to, like, know, because you, did you come out to a broadcast or something like that way back when? Many years ago. You came out to a broadcast way back when, when you were married, you were married, and all that stuff, and you were hanging out with a friend.

We didn't know each other, and we didn't meet. It was 12 years ago, and once we started dating, we were talking stories, and she said, you know, I just realized I came to one of your broadcasts once. She came to Rochester 12 years ago.

That is crazy.

So we looked through her girlfriend's pictures, and she's in the background of one of our photos, but we didn't know each other, we didn't meet, it was just she happened to be there.

Were you like the rest of these people, Meg, that are in here right now that are looking at us going, who are those people? I listen to serious satellite radio or podcasting. I'm just wondering about that. So what's the story, what's the topic that you're bringing up?

Well, Meg's saying that you shouldn't send your guy on an errand. And we had a little incident last night where we were all hanging out with friends. We ordered takeout, and it ended up with all the girlfriends mad at their boyfriend. So I'll turn it over to Meg, and she can explain why she was mad at us.

He's going to yell at you if you don't get closer to that microphone. Yeah, you've got to, like, eat it, basically. You've got to get right. Hey, now.

Yeah, my friend Tracy wanted the girls to go. She said it makes more sense, and I thought, that's going to be trouble. We're never going to make it back. Send the boys. They're responsible. They'll pick up the food. They'll be right back. These kids are hungry. 45 minutes later, the pickup was five minutes up the road. 45 minutes later, they're still not back.

45 minutes. Wait, was this at that restaurant that you were trying to pick up an order at before? I won't say the name because I know you got in trouble for that. No. No.

And Alan, the bartender, is like, well, you're going to have a drink? So we said, well.

Adam, jokingly, we said, say hi to Adam, the bartender. And they said hi to Adam for an hour.

No, no. Tracy and I had the kids. So we were holding down the fort.

he shouldn't have been doing and it's happened before I go to pick up Chinese and it's in the same strip mall as Home Depot I'm gonna run in for something real quick and then I start browsing you know it's just you lose track of time but in this situation I put my phone in my pocket I've been trying to be more present at the bar yeah so when i finally went to you know get our food and i looked at my phone and realized oh my gosh meg texted me like 18 times the kids are starving where are you

I think the problem was not you, Spike. The problem was who chose the place that they were ordering from. Because it's all about the place. Well, I found out. So my friend Tracy picked the place, and she had a diabolical plan that the girls would go get the food, and I botched it. Oh, man. What a terrible friend you are. I mess up.

So that's really where this anger is coming from. It was really not that we were so long. It was that she wanted to be there with a glass of wine.

So the idea of you guys just staying home having drinks meant these guys were going to go and not drinking, and look what happened. It bit you right in the ass. Sure did. Can I ask you a question a little bit? Because I want to know something about your man. Have you guys, you guys have been together for less than, what, a couple years or something? Have you guys had any knockdown, drag-out fights at all? Has it gotten to a point where you have not talked to him for even a five-minute period of time? Like, have you guys gotten, no?

I mean, of course, there's little arguments and tips and stuff like that. But, no, we're not.

What are they about? What do you argue about?

My cleaning supplies. Oh, we've heard about this. Yeah, he's talked about that. Cleaning supplies. Timing, you know. If I say dinner's ready, you've got to be ready, man.

And his timing is a little slow?

Timing's a little off.

Yeah.

It's not off. She's got a weird clock. She'll say dinner's in 20 minutes. And then in three minutes, she goes, dinner's ready. And I just start. I'm like, wait, you said 20 minutes. It's only been three minutes.

What's his worst habit, though, that drives you crazy? Is there something that just drives you absolutely?

I've dreamed of the day that I could talk about this on the radio, and I forgot. What's your worst habit? Probably it's your internal clock is off.

So I had my dad and his wife over for my birthday one year, and they were supposed to go pick up pizza for me and the family and my kids. And they left with my boyfriend and it was like hours later. They never returned and we were trying to get a hold of them and the whole time they ended up being at a bar and they didn't show up until like three or four hours later.

Oh my God. But you know what? He's smart. Can I tell you that? Your boyfriend is wise. Because if Spike went to go pick up, what is it again? Amici's or is that what it is? If he went to pick up a meat cheese with Meg's dad, Meg can't get angry at Spike like you can't get angry at your guy, Jessica. Because guess what? It's dad that was there, too. You could throw dad under the bus, couldn't you?

Well, and by design, I invited Meg's dad. He's joining us at my next broadcast, Vintage House, where I'm going from noon to four after this. And you can join us, too, because Meg's dad will keep us out of trouble. We can drink as much as we want and not get yelled at.

Actually, there's truth to that because Chelsea's dad Joe and I have gotten ourselves into trouble before and for some reason if I did that same thing with like, I don't know, my buddies, you know, like Will or Steve or whatever, I would get my ass chewed out. But because Chelsea's dad is there. It's quality time. Yeah. Meg, does your dad like this guy? He loves him. Does he? Yep. Yep.

Does he like the shirt that he's wearing? By the way, will you do me a favor? This shirt should never come out ever again. This is a one and done. Honestly, will you seriously? I love that shirt. I like it, too.
