All right, it's Mojo in the Morning Show. Hung out with some friends. We were watching football. And you guys tell me if this is, I'll say this. It's a foul. Let's put it in. It's a personal foul. Unnecessary touching of anything in my house. uh but uh i had guys over to watch the uh the football games and we were hanging around and they were kind of boring anyway not the guys but the games and i have a system on my house it's called ecobee i believe it is and it's basically you know amazon's way that you can through your phone do your thermostat and stuff and it's nice to have because if i'm not home You know, I can, you know, check out my house and make sure everything's okay for the dogs and things like that. Well, these dogs, these guys that were there don't know that it sends me an alert when the temperature changes in the house, like when it's thermostat changed. Yeah. And so it gave me an alert. Your thermostat just changed to 72 degrees. And I'm like, how did that just happen? I get up and I walk over towards it. I see this guy, Dave, who's a friend. He's actually a dad of one of Luke's buddies, who's turned into one of my friends. I'm like, you son of a bitch. What are you doing there? And he goes, it's really cold in here. And I go, what do you mean it's really cold in here? Is it cold? I set my thermostat at 68 degrees. Is 68 degrees too cold?

Let me tell you. My thermostat is colder than yours. And if I have guests, yeah, that's way too cold. Is it? Turn that off. Yeah, if you have guests.

But if I have guests, the house is warmer because there's a lot of bodies in there. It don't work like that. Oh, yes, it does.

No, I do agree with that. If I'm going to have a lot of people over, I turn mine down a little bit. But 68 is chilly, especially when it's so cold outside. Really? Yeah.

Mine's set to 66 or 65.

Yeah, that is absolutely asinine.

I see. I think that, first off, DTE Energy tells me, DTE.com slash save energy. They tell me that you should always turn your thermostat down. that turning your thermostat down actually really is more consistent will warm the house to exactly

the level that you want it to warm to mine goes down by itself because i have like the nest or whatever so i can like put a schedule on my phone mine goes down at night to what so like when we all go to bed i think it does go down to 68 but that's when we're sleeping and nobody's down there so who cares yeah what the temperature is and then it goes back up at like 4 a.m when i wake up how

do you dress around your house uh so yesterday i was wearing uh a pair of uh joggers and i had

a michigan state sweatshirt on okay because i think some people walk around and they like the summer vibe so they walk around with a little t-shirt and like a thin pair of pants some people even wear shorts so they like their house a little hotter some people like their house a little cooler so they could bundle up with a nice hoodie and get all like that but if you got guests over It's about what your guests want. And I guarantee you, he was probably cold as hell for like a half an hour. I just couldn't take it anymore. I decided I'm going over there. I'm turning this up.

But I will say, like, your crazy temperature aside, I would never go to somebody's house and without asking just screw with their thermostat. Yeah, that's mine. Who does that? hi what's going on keep our house i keep our house at 68 during the day and then i actually at night it's 66 it's not on a schedule so do you ever go 69 69 guys always the way i look at it

you can always wear uh more you know but if it's a guest they didn't bring an extra hoodie to your

house here's the deal first off chelsea has like a a basket full of blankets that are sitting

there right by the bed blankets at somebody's house it's uncomfortable you should see these

blankets they're very fancy uh but i will say but i but even more reason not to touch them

adjusting a friend's thermostat's kind of uh a little insane too i mean i wouldn't just go into

the house and just thermostat without asking yes i would never honestly go into somebody's house and just open up their refrigerator without asking touching their thermostat is even worse You've got to specifically go in there And seek it out

If I'm comfortable enough to get on your couch And put my feet on your couch Then I'm comfortable enough to touch your thermostat But if you're the kind of house where I would never curl up And get comfy on the couch I'm not touching your thermostat

No, absolutely. Honestly, and growing up, too. So our house actually is set at 62. And growing up, too, my dad would hate when anyone. Yeah, 62. If it got above 63, you're lucky.

That's what mom used to always say. Put on more clothes. You know, like.

We grow not old. We don't have to live like that. Exactly. I pay the bills in this house. If I want to turn it up, turn it up.

It's not that bad. You get used to it after a while. And then honestly, when you go over to someone else's house or like, it's like, I'm like sweating. I'm like, it's so warm in here.

62 degrees seems rather cold to me. 68 degrees does not seem that bad. Like 62 degrees, I'd still probably wear shorts if it was like 62 degrees outside. But in my house where there's no sun shining in, you know what I mean?
