00:01:25 - 00:01:31 | Speaker 4:

place have you guys ever seen i'm naive have you ever actually seen a drug deal happen yeah okay

00:01:31 - 00:01:37 | Speaker 7:

have you what is your what is your thought of like what a drug deal looks like honestly

00:01:37 - 00:01:53 | Speaker 6:

money exchanging hands and you know what i mean just like very close to each other like i watch chicago pd yeah and usually it's somebody throwing a dime bag which i always love is a dime bag actually a dime does that cost you a dime ten dollars i mean back in the day y'all talking

00:01:53 - 00:01:58 | Speaker 7:

I'm like old school prices though. Where were you around a drug deal?

00:01:58 - 00:03:42 | Speaker 4:

This happened while somebody was working. And that's why I think my mind is blown a little bit because it was a drug deal on the job. So Wes and I are kind of just loosely looking at houses. I've talked about this before. So we went to look at a house and the realtor who was the seller, like representing the seller, had said that we were the last showing of the day, which was awesome because we could take our time. We didn't have to rush. And towards the end of our appointment, Wes said, hey, I have to duck out. I have to take a team's call for work in my car. And we had driven separately anyway, so it was fine. So he ended up sitting in his truck that was parked on the street for about, I don't know, half hour, 25 minutes after me and my realtor left. And as I was leaving the street, and this is one of those streets that does not have a lot of houses on it. So I see this, I'm going to say, interesting car and driver come down the street and they're like looking at the house and I can see them look at Wes and look at me. And it was just like one of those situations where I knew in my gut that something was off. So it kept going past past me, but I definitely noticed it. And so when Wes got home, he said, hey, did you see that car that went by as you left? And I said, yeah, well, apparently that car, the driver circled, came back a few different times. And finally went up the long driveway to the house. The other realtor who represented the seller came out, chatted with the person in the car. Something was exchanged. And then the person in the car left. And Wes was like, I think I saw a drug deal happening in the driveway of this house while like he was, you know, doing a showing. It was just a very interesting situation.

00:03:42 - 00:03:43 | Speaker 6:

Who was the drug dealer?

00:03:44 - 00:04:11 | Speaker 4:

Well, I don't know who the dealer was if it was the realtor, the person in the car. okay so but something was definitely exchanged and it was very interesting how it happened because the car kept circling i think probably waiting for west to leave is how i'm thinking about it in my head and west didn't leave he was sitting there on a call and he didn't want to be driving while on the call so he just sat there so the person in the car was finally like okay screw it i'm just gonna go and do whatever i need to do it's interesting or i'm making up a story in my

00:04:11 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 6:

head yeah it's it's funny that how your your head automatically goes best stories it goes to that that level where you start thinking yourself like what is going on around here? Like I always, you, you, you write the script for whatever that situation is.

00:04:26 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 4:

But it kind of matches what I think happened.

00:04:28 - 00:04:28 | Speaker 6:

Yeah.

00:04:29 - 00:04:29 | Speaker 4:

You know,

00:04:29 - 00:04:38 | Speaker 7:

drugs on the job. You think the real weed before from a dude who was working at a sneaker store in Northland, he had the weed in the back. Really?

00:04:38 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 6:

So really. And, and I couldn't believe what happens if the customer, by the way, how did you know?

00:04:44 - 00:04:56 | Speaker 7:

By the way, Because he said, meet us, meet me at Blank Blank in Northland. This is so many years ago. Meet me at Blank Blank, came to Blank Blank in Northland, and he was selling shoes to somebody else, and he was selling weed to me.

00:04:57 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Is it weird buying weed from a guy that looks like a referee?

00:05:00 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 4:

it wasn't full locker though because he was in regular clothes okay but it was weird though excuse me he's sizing me up right now you know you know what's funny uh about this about the whole thing happening shannon is right whenever i see i i profile situations yes bad yeah yep but i see situations where i think to myself i'm like it's got to be right there's got to be like something going on like that you know and you instantly start thinking there's some kind of a legal thing happening immediately that's your first thought yeah are you moving into the

00:05:34 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 6:

are you getting another realtor this was not my realtor's a friend of mine but even she saw this happening she's like something was going down it's it's funny because there's not a lot of

00:05:48 - 00:06:40 | Speaker 4:

houses on the market maybe he's got to like look for extra stuff out there to make money i don't know did i don't know did i tell you guys about the house that was that there's a house that was that's by my house that was for sale and i said to chelsea i go this house would be a great house to like move into you know because it's cool looking house and stuff from the outside but it probably needs a lot of work and i was asking questions of why it wasn't selling because all the homes are selling so fast oh yeah and a neighbor friend of ours i saw him out at a restaurant by our house and i said to him i go isn't it surprising that that house is not selling And he said to me, he goes, did you hear about it? And he said, you walk inside and it smells and reeks of some kind of drugs. And I guess the walls all had coloring, discoloring on it. That they were doing something. Making drugs there. There was like nothing or something going on. God, that show was so good. Shelly, what's up? How you doing?

00:06:41 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good morning, everybody. Happy Friday. Happy Friday. Hey.

00:06:45 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 4:

What's going on, Shelly?

00:06:47 - 00:07:07 | Speaker 5:

That was definitely a drug deal, and the realtor is using the houses to hide suspicion very poorly. Really? But yeah, that was definitely a drug deal, keeping the traffic away from their own house, not looking shady. People are supposed to roll up to this place and not their own home. Yeah, good eye. That was shady as heck. Definitely a drug deal.

00:07:07 - 00:07:15 | Speaker 4:

Do you think Shannon should call that real estate agent and say, give me this house for a lower price or I'm turning your ass in?

00:07:16 - 00:07:25 | Speaker 5:

You know, that's kind of a good thought, except now that you know a bunch of shady people who do drugs or sell drugs and know that location, so I would be looking somewhere else.

00:07:25 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 4:

Yeah. It's funny because you wonder if you bought that house, you'd have the knock, knock, knock on the door late at night, people going, hey.

00:07:33 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 5:

He's not here anymore. That's right. I promise you. Exactly. Like, hey, it's not the realtor. I bought this baby. Yeah, yeah.

00:07:39 - 00:08:04 | Speaker 4:

Hey, Shelly, what do you think the odds are that the real estate agent wasn't doing anything wrong, but was looking at Wes in his car thinking he was doing something like our sweet little Wes would never do such a thing. I'm telling you, he was thinking Wes is sitting in front of the house and he's got some illegal thing happening in his life. You know, I was.

00:08:04 - 00:08:09 | Speaker 5:

No, Wes looks entirely too together for anybody to think such things of him.

00:08:09 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 4:

I always think when I'm making a phone call and I'm sitting in a parking lot somewhere making a phone call. You look shady. People think I'm watching porn masturbating, you know?
