Hey, guys, Bobby Bones here, host of The Bobby Bones Show. I'm always tired because I wake up at 3 o'clock in the morning, but it's all worth it because I get to hang out with all my friends and my studio. We share our lives. We look for as much good in the world as we possibly can with Tell Me Something Good, and we talk through the biggest news stories of the day, and also your biggest and favorite country artists are always stopping by. On the Gulf Coast, check us out on 95KSJ and lock us in as a preset on the free iHeartRadio app today.

00:01:29 - 00:01:40 | Speaker 3:

All right, it's Mojo in the morning show. Drunk on the job. Kev, you had a guy that came to help you, and you say, swear, this guy was drunk on the job?

00:01:40 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 4:

There's no ifs, ands, or buts about it, no way around it. He was drunk. So after the podcast, first off, I had to Uber to the podcast because I got a flat tire. So leaving the podcast, I'm checking my phone because I had a schedule for a guy to come out and come into my parking lot and check the tire out to make sure, whatever, whatever, whatever. So I get home. He luckily waited for me. So thank God he waited because he could have left and went home and I could have been screwed to the next day. So he comes and I let him in the garage and he comes over to my car. He's an older gentleman. He's like, man, you'll never guess my age. My $10 is your $20. You won't get in between five years. I'm like, okay, well, he must be older. I'm like 63. He's like, nah. he laughing he kind of move a little slow he's 73 years old come on first off he's an older gentleman 73 years old you're ass crack a mile long there's no way this man had draws on i'm not talking about just like you don't like the top of the ass that's kind of like uh the cap of a pin like they just have a little bit showing it wasn't that at all it was like a full pin like it was it was long crack yeah so he's doing all of that he brings out the little cranker thing what do you call it the jack the jack of the car by the way you know that you don't know how to

00:02:50 - 00:02:55 | Speaker 3:

change the tire when you call it the cranker thing he cranking that and you're a 30 year old

00:02:55 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 4:

guy that has a 73 year old man changing that's his life so he cranking it up with the jack he's like oh man i'll tell you man i'm drunk i'm like how's my tire about to fall off the car when i get out of here he like listen promise me one day young man i'm like yeah don't drink none of these mango margarita he went in the car got the can no brought the can out and showed me the can is empty like he jiggled a little bit so you can hear like this like a little swish swash of the last like a little spit that's in there yeah mango margarita what finished the whole can is like yeah man this is my last time on his way to your house like while he's doing on his way to my house drinking a mango margarita i got a jam margarita who wants a margarita tire man oh my god and he's

00:03:44 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 3:

00:04:16 - 00:04:19 | Speaker 3:

the job is there any listeners that drink on the job if you're if you're one of these listeners

00:04:19 - 00:04:25 | Speaker 4:

we call us up look at all we are all hypocrites i know we do i know for him i will not every day

00:04:25 - 00:04:44 | Speaker 3:

it has to be a special occasion yeah for sure we we all drink on the job but we don't we also don't drive we don't require like yeah safety stuff right we're not dealing with heavy machinery Right. In other people's lives. This guy, by the way, let's go back also to something. Let's go back to the fact that you are 30-something years old.

00:04:44 - 00:04:46 | Speaker 4:

Do you know how to change a tire? Absolutely.

00:04:46 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 5:

Oh, let's talk about this, actually. He does. He does to the point where he did it himself, and it required surgery afterward. On his arm, actually.

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Let's go to Erica, our caller here. I'm bitch, you do. Shut it.

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 5:

She just stole my thunder.

00:05:01 - 00:05:10 | Speaker 6:

That was my comment. Mojo, you did. Get off my phone, Eric. Get off my phone, Eric. Because you busted your shoulder trying to change one, Mojo.

00:05:10 - 00:05:32 | Speaker 2:

No, I tore a bicep muscle, Erica. What's the difference? That's right, Erica. You tell him. And it was because we were doing a race to see who could change the tire the fastest, and I got a little too carried away. I'm a mess, Eric. He's a bunch of them. Do you think Kevin, though, should be embarrassed and ashamed of himself that he made a 73-year-old man change his tire.

00:05:33 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 1:

No. I didn't order a 73-year-old man. I just ordered somebody to come off. A 73-year-old drunk man.

00:05:42 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 2:

Hey, Sarah, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. Hey, we were talking about people that drink on the job. Good morning.

00:05:49 - 00:05:55 | Speaker 5:

Thank you, Erica. Yeah, I only drink on Taco Tuesdays. What do you do?

00:05:55 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 2:

um i work in the office really she's so careful with what she's saying are they okay with you

00:06:04 - 00:06:24 | Speaker 5:

drinking at work um i'm a professional she got that stanley cup what do you put your alcohol in is that it yeah and i mean i keep my red bull with me you know stay focused but uh other than that i don't i don't overindulge though

00:06:24 - 00:06:25 | Speaker 2:

Taco Tuesday.

00:06:26 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 6:

That's actually funny because if you put something in your Stanley and carry it around like it's water, nobody would have any idea.

00:06:32 - 00:06:49 | Speaker 2:

Chelsea and all the moms of Luke's sports teams would all drink and put them in their Yetis, you know, and they would show up at these things and they had cocktails upon cocktails until one time we were at a game and an umpire goes, I smell vodka. And I'm like, you can't smell vodka. Vodka doesn't have a smell to it.

00:06:49 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

He's like, I smell vodka. I feel like my sixth grade teacher, Ms. Ree, used to be drinking sometimes. Oh, my God. Ain't no way she wasn't drunk.

00:06:56 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 2:

Find out. Hey, see if any teachers will call us up and tell us if they've ever gone for, like, a drink at lunch and come back to the classroom. Carson, are you there? It's Mojo in the morning. Hi. We'll voice this guy. Yeah. Yeah, what's up?

00:07:09 - 00:07:11 | Speaker 4:

First time on time. Hey, buddy. Hi.

00:07:11 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 5:

What's up on the phone?

00:07:15 - 00:07:44 | Speaker 4:

But, yeah, I used to work as a package handler at FedEx, and it was the night shift. So me and my girlfriend, we had actually worked there together. We would like to have a few drinks before we went in. And one time, I guess we had too many shots of Hennessy. And when we got there, I was still a little drunk. And my manager actually made me move one of the box trucks. So I had to move that with him in the truck, which was pretty good.

00:07:45 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 2:

Could you move it? I couldn't drive that thing sober.

00:07:48 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 4:

it was my first time doing it too because I was in the process of getting trained to be a trainer so I have a friend

00:07:58 - 00:08:12 | Speaker 2:

of mine that works in a company where they have like forklifts and stuff and a guy drove a forklift into the wall they make you take a drug test right at that moment the they take your gun go get a drug test and they make you go get it

00:08:12 - 00:08:14 | Speaker 1:

shots of Hennessy is crazy

00:08:14 - 00:08:15 | Speaker 2:

Ashley what's up

00:08:15 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 3:

hi so i am a um high school teacher and one of my co-workers was very drunk on a field trip to the point where he was stumbling and even all of the students knew oh no really the students the students were like oh my god is your co-worker drunk and you know we're kind of like laughing it off and meet myself and another co-worker we're laughing it off and we're like no why would you think that and they're like well look at him he can't even stand up straight oh my gosh he can't even he can't even talk to us he was learning his words it was really bad so wait a second so this

00:08:51 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 2:

is pretty crazy so they got drunk on the field trip where where was the field trip to well the

00:08:57 - 00:09:05 | Speaker 3:

field trip was a field trip to out of state yeah and so okay i did what i i did on the way there

00:09:05 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

Oh, wow. Ashley, I did a, I chaperoned a field trip to New York, you know, one of those like eighth grade field trips. And they told us that we couldn't drink because we were the chaperones. And the last night we all had, we're like, we can't do this. We went to this Italian restaurant and I'll never forget. All they had were beer and wine. I think we bought like 12 bottles of wine. We told the principal and the teachers were like, we're having this stuff. What's up, Nikki? How you doing? Good. How are you guys? Good. We're talking about people that drink on the job. What's going on?

00:09:39 - 00:09:48 | Speaker 6:

So my coworker had showed up drunk and sitting at the front desk, passed out in front of customers.

00:09:48 - 00:09:51 | Speaker 1:

Oh, my gosh. What kind of business is it?

00:09:52 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 6:

It's in the medical field. Were people just ringing that bill? Like, dang.

00:10:00 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, and we let her, like, sleep it off for a little bit, and she got up and, like, just took off. She's too embarrassed.

00:10:08 - 00:10:12 | Speaker 6:

Did you at least wheel her away from the front desk so people couldn't see her?

00:10:12 - 00:10:13 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, we did.

00:10:14 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 4:

Oh, my gosh. David, worse than drinking on the job, what happened?

00:10:21 - 00:10:41 | Speaker 3:

All right, so me and a couple buddies went to electricity on a Friday night, and we took some acid, and I accidentally took four hits instead of two. And the next morning I had to drive a company truck three hours to Ohio to pick up a semi-trailer and drive the back.

00:10:42 - 00:10:54 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no. By the way, for those who don't know, electricity is a club, like a club in the Detroit area here in Pontiac. That's not safe. That's not safe, David. No.

00:10:55 - 00:10:57 | Speaker 3:

It was not a very good day.

00:10:57 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 4:

You're not with that company anymore, or are you?

00:11:01 - 00:11:02 | Speaker 3:

No, no, not that company.

00:11:03 - 00:11:25 | Speaker 4:

Wouldn't it be crazy if David's like, yeah, and then I went to my ambulance job the next day? He's dropping acid. All right, thank you for the call. We appreciate it. Unreal, the amount of text messages, too, we're getting from people that tell us that they drink on the job. I get a lot of people smoke. I would almost guess that a lot of people with weed being legal.
