It's Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-Mojo-Live, 844-665-6548. Megan has cried two times already on the show. Yeah. We're going to make it the trifecta.

00:02:12 - 00:04:10 | Speaker 1:

No, no, no, no, no, no. And I really think the other one was just back-to-back bad times. That was just emotional. Can't do something serious after a B&E break. It's just Niagara Falls, Frankie Angel. um I did cry the other day though and it was very very bad and I'd like to set this up by acknowledging before I even tell you this whole story I understand I should not have cried that's actually the whole point of this story is the very small minuscule thing that just set you over the edge but I had a really long day a couple of days ago and I um was just you know doing things later than I expected you ever have an expectation of your time like at least I'll be home by like five o'clock, even if it's a long day and I can still get some dinner. And it was looking like I wasn't going to get home until 830 ish. And then I hit some really severe downtown Detroit traffic and a drive that would normally take me about four to five minutes took roughly an hour. And I was just stuck and really at the end of my rope. And I was sitting at a light and there are cops everywhere directing traffic because this congestion is so bad and i'm sitting in the middle of an intersection and there's nowhere for me to go there are people everywhere there are cars everywhere i cannot move forward and this cop walks up to my window which i'm like starting to roll down and he was like move your gd vehicle and i literally oh dead serious dead serious and i'm looking around and i'm like i think he's talking to me at this point i cannot move my vehicle and i would really like to be able to move my vehicle like there's nothing i want more in this moment than to be able to move sir what did he do he just walked we started yelling at other people he didn't even stop and like he sold you did not care he looked at me like that's a

00:04:10 - 00:04:14 | Speaker 4:

weird reaction to that and i was just it's one of those traffic cops huh like the guys that are in

00:04:14 - 00:04:34 | Speaker 1:

the middle of traffic yes just sitting in my car crying people are walking by my car looking at me like is she okay i don't really care we still gotta go we gotta place it to be nobody's having thankfully nobody is stopping but i can't move my car and i realize this cop just told me to move because there's a big traffic jam and it just i couldn't stop sobbing in my car this actually

00:04:34 - 00:05:29 | Speaker 4:

could be a very funny i think this could be a funny topic not a sad topic so we're not gonna make megan cry no no i wanted to be funny here's here's the topic what is the most like out of the the normal thing that made you cry what was it that made you cry like you're having one of those days and then finally something just set it off and for megan's case it was the cop just yelling at her to move and uh and she just had her had her point at that I love you.

00:05:00 - 00:05:07 | Speaker 3:

what was yours? 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. Lydia, can you go through phone lines and get

00:05:07 - 00:05:13 | Speaker 2:

some really funny ones for us? I can try. You can't do that to me, Lydia.

00:05:14 - 00:05:30 | Speaker 3:

Lydia, please. You okay, Lydia? I am stressed. Can you? What would make you cry, Lydia? Everything makes me cry. You know that. I know. But what would, like today, like if Tony Travato said to you, hey, Lydia, let's do three more wishes today.

00:05:30 - 00:05:34 | Speaker 1:

No, I'll throw up. That'll make you throw up. That's not even crying. That'll make me throw up.

00:05:34 - 00:05:36 | Speaker 3:

It's very stressful to put together these wishes.

00:05:37 - 00:06:22 | Speaker 1:

I had one the other day. You know those days that you just like, this is my to-do list for today. We all do this in the studio. We write these dang to-do lists. And after the show, we're so tired. And the only thing I want to do is take a nap. But I usually have a bunch of crap that I need to get done before the kids get home from school. and it was so stupid but the last thing on my list was to go to whole foods because my kids all four of them only like whole foods frozen pizza oh i go to whole foods and i stock up i usually get like four five six of them i go and there's only one kind they like the four cheese they have zero i literally could feel the frog frog in my throat for me and i go to the checkout out with my other crap i'm like i am literally about to cry over a 5.99 frozen pizza but that

00:06:22 - 00:06:27 | Speaker 3:

was my day if you just got a written i just if you just got another pizza no it's not they would

00:06:27 - 00:06:32 | Speaker 1:

not recognize it is not the same it is this one specific it's the yellow cardboard box

00:06:32 - 00:06:55 | Speaker 3:

the just cheese and that just did me in what is the craziest thing that made you cry the most emotional time of your life and if you missed any of megan crying earlier this morning it's going to be in promos you'll see it you'll hear it on the air she has a heart the woman has a maybe it's the holidays that's setting you up maybe that's what it is maybe i just um

00:06:55 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 1:

it's making you making you feel emotional people knowing that i have feelings i think it's

00:07:01 - 00:07:08 | Speaker 3:

wonderful you have a hate it we love your feelings bojo in the morning hi cindy hi hey cindy what

00:07:08 - 00:07:54 | Speaker 4:

was the craziest thing that made you cry i don't know it was uh i don't know if it's crazy on one of a sat tuesdays it's like six years ago but i was like six months pregnant and we were going to my friend's house to enjoy our poochki for the day and i was debating of what uh flavor i was going to have i told my husband well maybe i'll have custard or whatever and i said well maybe i'll have two one for me and one for the baby and that there turned into a whole discussion that that was like too much for the baby and i pulled myself together we got to our friend's house and And the husband Okay well what flavor do you want And I just broke down In a full on meltdown in tears And this poor guy had no idea The whole discussion had been had

00:07:54 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 3:

By the way you don't ever Let a pregnant woman Go without whatever she wants to eat Even if it's two poonskis Because she is feeding that baby And the worst is The worst is Cindy If you go to the bakery to go get them And the bakery goes we're all out of poonskis

00:08:11 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

Niagara Falls That would have been even worse probably And by the way, first time long time We love you, thanks Cindy I love you listening to you every morning I'm usually a podcast listener So I love catching you live

00:08:29 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 3:

Oh that's awesome, and then you get to participate like you just did Which is pretty cool, and tell your friends Giuseppe Okay Hello Giuseppe

00:08:38 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 5:

Hello. I want to start by saying first time in a long time as well.

00:08:43 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 2:

Giuseppe!

00:08:43 - 00:08:44 | Speaker 5:

Hello!

00:08:45 - 00:08:45 | Speaker 2:

Giuseppe!

00:08:47 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 3:

Giuseppe, what made you cry? What's the craziest thing? Go ahead.

00:08:50 - 00:09:12 | Speaker 5:

So I had a long day at work. Usually I start at 9 and end at 8 p.m. And, you know, they made me stay longer, and I had to drop off a customer at their house. And when I dropped them off, They just gave me, you know, two little, like, snacks, and it just, I don't know. Once they left, it was just tears.

00:09:12 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 3:

Wait, so you dropped off a customer, and they were, hey, we're going to feed this guy, and that nice gesture got you all balled up.

00:09:22 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, it was like happy tears, but, like, at the same time, I was like, I didn't want to stay long to drop this guy off.

00:09:29 - 00:09:46 | Speaker 3:

Oh, you didn't want to stay, so you were crying because you were upset. The guy was trying to give you something nice, a nice gesture, but you were like, oh, buddy, I got to get to my next call. Giuseppe, are you having phone? What service do you have? I don't even know. I don't want to say because they're probably an advertiser. Shauna, are you there?

00:09:47 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 4:

Hi, I'm here.

00:09:49 - 00:09:53 | Speaker 3:

Shauna, question for you. Is it alcohol related?

00:09:54 - 00:09:58 | Speaker 4:

It is alcohol related. I love it. This is going to be good.

00:09:58 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 3:

Alcohol makes me cry.

00:10:00 - 00:10:36 | Speaker 1:

oh well i wish i was drinking at the time but i wasn't drinking why was it um i had yesterday was my mom's birthday i had just got off work i put together a gift of all of her favorite things including a big bottle of rum a half gallon bottle and as i was walking to her house from my car all of a sudden the bag dropped the booze went everywhere all over like the raisinette that I got her and everything. And it was either the cake was going to fall or the bag. And yeah, the bag

00:10:36 - 00:10:39 | Speaker 3:

fell. So you lost, what was it that you lost? What was in the bag?

00:10:40 - 00:10:45 | Speaker 1:

It was a bottle of Bacardi in there, some raisinettes. Some raisinettes! No!

00:10:46 - 00:10:49 | Speaker 3:

Raisinettes used to go so hard. Oh my god, I love raisinettes.

00:10:50 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 1:

Lotion! All of that was all good. But like, yeah.

00:10:53 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 3:

You know what I would have done? I would have given up the cake for the Bacardi.

00:10:56 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 1:

Yeah.

00:10:57 - 00:11:06 | Speaker 3:

You know, everybody can even, they can, they can whip off the whipped cream off the side of the little plastic container that the cake was in. You would have been fine.

00:11:07 - 00:11:10 | Speaker 1:

I was a mess. And this was yesterday. Do me a favor.

00:11:10 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 3:

Go see my buddy Louie at the Brass Mug in Livonia and he'll get you a bottle of Bacardi on Mojo. I'll put it on my bill. Okay.

00:11:17 - 00:11:18 | Speaker 1:

All right.

00:11:18 - 00:11:31 | Speaker 3:

Thanks, Mojo. We love you. Love you. Take care of yourself. What's up, Tracy? How are you? You know what, Tracy? I'm doing good, but I got to be honest with you. The pausing that listeners have been giving me on the phone lines today are going to make me cry.

00:11:33 - 00:11:34 | Speaker 7:

That's annoying.

00:11:34 - 00:11:41 | Speaker 3:

There's a lot of people that when we're like, hey, how you doing? And they're like, five seconds, three, four, two, one. Oh, good. How you doing? I don't know if it's our...

00:11:41 - 00:11:43 | Speaker 7:

Well, I just really have to think about their answer.

00:11:43 - 00:11:46 | Speaker 3:

That could be. You know what? It's Monday. What's going on? What makes you cry?

00:11:48 - 00:12:28 | Speaker 7:

A few years ago, I left an appointment that was pretty emotional. and so I was driving to visit some family or friends and I was like all I want is to go to this fast food place I don't know if I'm allowed to say it sure um so what to talk about all I wanted was a breakfast contract like that's it and a Mountain Dew like I just want this to make me happy and they were no longer serving breakfast no no I feel that I started bawling and I had to Like, pull out of the line, because I couldn't even think of what else I could possibly order, because that was all I wanted. Oh, I can't believe they would do that to you.

00:12:28 - 00:12:35 | Speaker 4:

All the same places, it should be the same. All day, you should be able to get breakfast. Yeah, correct. It's all the same stuff anyway. I have tears.

00:12:36 - 00:12:37 | Speaker 7:

You can't make one? Come on.

00:12:38 - 00:12:46 | Speaker 3:

By the way, Taco Bell doesn't run out of anything, because you know why? Taco Bell has the same ingredients in all their stuff.

00:12:46 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 6:

Breakfast, lunch, or dinner, right? Yes, please call me on that one.

00:12:49 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 5:

Everything on the menu, just with the egg. Yeah. Come on. I want that tone to play every time I talk. Do you know we drove past a Taco Bell the other day, and my kids go, what is that place? I'm like, I am the worst mother ever. I've never taken my children to Taco Bell.

00:13:08 - 00:13:12 | Speaker 3:

You take your daughter for a seedy massage, but you don't take her to Taco Bell.

00:13:12 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 5:

It's not seedy. It was just a little different.

00:13:14 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 3:

You need to take her to Taco Bell. She'll love it.

00:13:17 - 00:13:17 | Speaker 5:

I know.

00:13:17 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 3:

Make her taste buds enjoy that. They'll get off of Whole Foods pizza. I'm telling you. It's healthier for her. There's a lot of protein in Taco Bell. What's going on?

00:13:26 - 00:13:26 | Speaker 1:

Hey, my canteen menu.

00:13:27 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 3:

What's going on, Jamie? Hi.

00:13:29 - 00:13:30 | Speaker 2:

Hi. Morning.

00:13:30 - 00:13:31 | Speaker 3:

What's happening?

00:13:31 - 00:13:48 | Speaker 2:

I think I could top the last caller, but when I was pregnant, I was looking for a refrigerator for a spatula and stayed on the kitchen floor for 20 minutes after I think that the spatula was in my left hand. Oh, no. I would lose it.

00:13:49 - 00:13:58 | Speaker 3:

i've done that before with my phone like i was holding my phone literally talking on the phone and like i lost my phone i can't wait and the person that's on the phone goes hey i think

00:13:58 - 00:14:12 | Speaker 2:

you're calling me on the phone that's my daily life okay yeah i love or they'll be like let me call your phone to help you find it and i'm like okay call it uh ronda what's going on ronda we're

00:14:12 - 00:14:17 | Speaker 3:

talking about how megan had a had a day from hell and the simplest thing made her cry what it makes

00:14:17 - 00:15:00 | Speaker 8:

you cry? It's Wanda, but it's okay. Oh no, you're going to get me. It's okay. I got two and a half hours sleep last night. Wanda, I apologize. Okay. She could care less. I'm Today, I get annoyed. My dog pees on my Christmas tree. That's son of a bitch. Every year, it's always, it's just the one little branch. And now I have, like, two dogs. So when one dog goes to pee,

00:15:00 - 00:15:06 | Speaker 1:

He'll go behind him and do the same thing. And I clean up. I hate it. I'm constantly cleaning up. I'm so tired.

00:15:06 - 00:15:19 | Speaker 4:

Chelsea yells at me because I yell at the dogs like they're my children. And she's like, they don't understand what you're saying. They do. Yes, they do. They look right at me as they're peeing right on the kitchen table.

00:15:19 - 00:15:20 | Speaker 7:

On the kitchen table.

00:15:20 - 00:15:30 | Speaker 4:

They pee on my kids. Or my kids. My kids pee on the kitchen table. My dogs, whatever the heck, the leg of the kitchen table. They like to pee.

00:15:30 - 00:15:32 | Speaker 3:

I thought you meant they got up on the kitchen table and peed.

00:15:32 - 00:15:44 | Speaker 4:

No, if they did that, if they did that, I would beat their ass. I would be like, get off of there. But yeah, Wanda, I get what you're saying. Thank you for calling in and letting us get it off your chest. Hopefully it worked, right?

00:15:45 - 00:15:48 | Speaker 6:

A little bit, yeah. Mojo, do you have the one about the horse?

00:15:49 - 00:15:51 | Speaker 4:

No, nobody on the phone lines.

00:15:51 - 00:15:59 | Speaker 6:

Okay, I got to tell you, my favorite text we got was, I'm pregnant, and I cried the other day because I saw a horse alone in a field, and it was raining, and I thought it was lonely.

00:15:59 - 00:16:07 | Speaker 4:

that person has to be like metamora or something i feel like that's where all the the horse people

00:16:07 - 00:16:13 | Speaker 6:

are that's metamora it was in 419 so somewhere in the tlito area okay well that's the boomies

00:16:13 - 00:16:20 | Speaker 4:

down there that's beautiful yeah hold on it's a good one shelby are you there hi i am first time

00:16:20 - 00:16:49 | Speaker 6:

last one on this one what made you cry okay so i'm very uncoordinated but despite that i really wanted to try going to a zumba class so i tried to have a good attitude i showed up and um i accidentally kicked someone in the leg but she had a prosthetic leg oh my god oh god oh my god I literally was so embarrassed, and I haven't done Zumba again.

00:16:52 - 00:16:57 | Speaker 4:

By the way, did the prosthetic come off, or did it feel like you hit a piece of wood or something?

00:16:58 - 00:17:01 | Speaker 6:

It felt really hard, and she ended up telling me after the class.

00:17:01 - 00:17:02 | Speaker 4:

Oh, no.

00:17:02 - 00:17:03 | Speaker 6:

I mean, the good news is it didn't hurt her, right?

00:17:03 - 00:17:04 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, that's right.

00:17:04 - 00:17:06 | Speaker 6:

Oh, my God. You know what? That is so true.

00:17:06 - 00:17:10 | Speaker 4:

Yeah, see? There's a bright spot to everything. Thank you for the call, Shelby.

00:17:11 - 00:17:37 | Speaker 2:
