It is a tad bit of a crossover. So much fun last night at Jingle Ball, but unfortunately, Mojo got sick, and he's my dad, so he did what dads do best, and he forcibly said, you have to go in and do my job.

So you're already familiar with the whole morning routine. but you thought you were going to have today off you thought today was going to be vacation day after the concert you guys all went out super late and you were going to have a day here to travel and get back home to tampa but instead you had duty called you had to be in here and and now

i'm getting heat from my producer speaking of the whole travel day because yes we were we were going to sleep in and then jed was trying to get us to go to the airport at 10 a.m which i think is an absolute psycho move depends when is your flight our flight is at 2 p.m oh whoa now here's

if he's fueling it up actually maybe what's crazy though is and i'm in a really bad predicament right now because i've got the the worst of both worlds with me because ashley and then i love them both but ashley gets to the airport as they are checking in she likes to show up she looks at Whenever Delta or whatever airline she's flying says check-in time, like for us, is at 1.30. She wants to get there at 1.

You can't show up a half hour before your flight. Yeah, you can. It's going to take you that long to check in? No, it's not. Getting through the TSA line alone is that. I love the rush, the thrill of it. Because who wants to sit at the airport and wait?

So she made it. But like, Jed, why show up five, six, seven hours before? What if the airport is so amazing?

There's certain restaurants at the airport where you just have to bask in, and then you also have to get drunk enough to numb the plane ride. Okay, so you actually have strategy here. Yeah, I do. What restaurant are we visiting today at DTW? Honestly, I haven't flown out of here in so long.

I was going to say, what are you going to go to, P.F. Chang's? It's a great restaurant, but we can go down the street.

It's not Andiamo. They have some kind of bar that you can go to.

Oh, yeah. They have Leo's. They have Popeye's. They have everything that you can get anywhere outside of the airport where we can comfortably be hanging out.

You've got a few good locals in there now. They've done a great job of rehabbing that airport in the North Terminal. You can get an Atwater Brewery now. You can get some good local. Plum Market, like Shannon said, is really good. Still not a five-hour.

Well, I used to be more on the Ashley side. I'd get there an hour before just to, you know, I always cut it close. Drive him insane. But now I, now dating my girlfriend is like super early for everything. She's changed my lifestyle. And you know what? I'm less stressed now. She makes me get there two or three hours early and usually two hours early, but she has completely opened my eyes to the airport beer.

It wasn't even his game plan. I think it was mom saying, oh, no. Chelsea was like, I hate his driving, especially when he's late. Let's get down there next four because then there's no rush. He has to drive like a human being.

Yeah. Although he is kind of like the Jed now, too, at the airports. He still gets like there way too. I think, in my opinion, Spike may be the only father who is comfortable with getting to the airport. Two hours is good. I thought most dads, four, five, six, seven.

But your dad likes to go through every store, like, let's see the latest headphones and let's go. He does. The guy collects the headphones at the airport. I know. Whenever we travel with your dad, Mojo always wants to go in every store in the airport. I like it, though. You can buy all this stuff on Amazon or in your own neighborhood, but he wants to buy it for eight times the price at the airport.

Has anyone in here ever gotten a massage at the airport?

I've always wanted to.

My girlfriend, and I don't know if it's open since the pandemic, but my girlfriend would always make herself an appointment at the spa, and she would get a manicure pedicure as she was waiting for her flight. That's actually genius. So she would get there early, but she would have an appointment, and she would get a manicure pedicure at the airport. I don't know anybody who's ever done that except for her. Do you know what I'm talking about? That little spa there you can get neck massages and stuff, too?

I didn't know that they do manicures and pedicures. They do. You can get Botox there, too. That's going to be the new thing.
