Shannon, you, I don't know why I said it like that. Shannon, I'm like, we're laughing and stuff. I have no idea. I think it's because I was trying to catch my breath because I'm fat and I have a hard time catching my breath. Shannon, you and Smith went to go eat at Subino's, right? The pizza place down there.

00:02:43 - 00:02:47 | Speaker 3:

In Easter Market. It is so dang. I know they have another one in, I think, the New Center area.

00:02:48 - 00:02:50 | Speaker 6:

It is a cool-looking place.

00:02:50 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 3:

And they're opening one on, I just saw, they're opening one on Southfield in, I don't know if that's Southfield or Lathrop. I don't know what that is.

00:02:56 - 00:03:10 | Speaker 6:

They are, by the way, it's a really, it's packed during lunchtime, too. People go there, and it's crazy. I don't know how it was at night, but they need gluten-free pizza. Will you please tell them? They don't have it. They have nothing gluten-free except for salads in there, which is not bad, but it's, you know, it's a bummer.

00:03:10 - 00:03:12 | Speaker 7:

Is that the pizza we get for, like, our team meetings here?

00:03:12 - 00:03:13 | Speaker 6:

No.

00:03:13 - 00:03:19 | Speaker 7:

Oh, that's not that. I don't know what we get. We should get that. Oh, okay. Well, I don't think I've ever had them before. It's honestly, it looks amazing.

00:03:19 - 00:04:37 | Speaker 3:

Actually, Smith and I, we sat at the bar, which he thinks he's so cool, and we actually got meatballs. They have those big, like, good, big meatballs and salad. And anyway, so he and I are eating, and this was dinner. And so it's me, Smith, and then I notice on the other side of Smith, there's a guy. He's probably 25 years old, and he's there. You can tell he's there by himself. get his airpods in scrolling on his phone drinking a beer orders a pizza for himself totally fine understand except as i'm talking to smith i'm kind of watching how this guy is eating and i couldn't help it he was eating all of his pizza right up until the crust and then he was making a pile of the crust on his plate and i'm thinking to myself as an adult man yeah you cannot do that you cannot eat and the way he was doing it too he was eating the pizza and then it reminded me of that scene in big where tom hanks eats the little teeny tiny corns on the cob he would go like all the way around the cross and then put it on the plate and he'd eat the pizza and then go all the way around the crust and then put it in a pile on the plate and i'm thinking does your mommy cut the crust off your pb and j's at home too you cannot do that as an adult you gotta eat the crust

00:04:37 - 00:04:45 | Speaker 7:

Exactly. I don't know what age it is. It's like 13 or 14. But whatever you didn't do in terms of crust before that age, it's completely reversed.

00:04:45 - 00:04:47 | Speaker 3:

Either way, the best part of the pizza.

00:04:48 - 00:04:53 | Speaker 6:

Do you think that when he brings a sandwich from home, he cuts it in triangles? Oh, man.

00:04:53 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

It does taste better in triangles. But I'm thinking if this man goes out on a date.

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 1:

and he takes his date to subpoena. You're telling me he's going to eat his pizza like that and leave a pile full of crust.

00:05:05 - 00:06:03 | Speaker 3:

All right, let's talk about, let's do this. Let's talk about weird things that people do eating that remind you of like childhood eating. Like the, how about this? How about the person, and this is, you know that you've dated somebody like this that doesn't eat with a fork, but only uses a spoon. Have you ever gone on a date with a guy and he eats with a spoon? Like he's, and you ever notice that when they do it, they do it like this. They grab the spoon like this. Like a shovel They're like grabbing it with their fist Instead of doing it My favorite is We went for sushi Chelsea and I went for sushi And to see the guy Who was sitting at the table next to us Guaranteed on a date Cute girl, cute guy Good looking guy And he had the little kid chopsticks With the little piece of paper and the rubber band On the top She's using regular chopsticks, and he's got the kitty chopsticks. You know what I'm talking about? The beginners. Yeah, the beginner chopsticks.

00:06:04 - 00:06:31 | Speaker 2:

Do you judge me, and be honest. Yes, I do. I am this. Yeah, end of sentence. I'm the type of person, excuse me, if I go to, I don't know, any restaurant, it's not super fancy, but if they have, like, the coloring sheet of papers, or they have, like, the crossword puzzles or the word search, I have to do it, bro. I'm just saying. I have to finish it, but I've got to do it at least one time. I feel like that's kind of cute. You get a pass for that.

00:06:32 - 00:06:42 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. Some people actually are really more talented artists as adults than they are as little kids. Yeah. But that's kind of funny. Don't they have a restaurant that's like that where they have coloring books for you?

00:06:42 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 1:

I don't. They probably do. Full-on books?

00:06:44 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 3:

Yeah. I think they do have a coloring book place. 844-MOJO-LIVE. 844-665-6548. Amanda, what's going on? It's Mojo in the Morning. We're talking about Shannon witnessing a grown-ass man eating like a little child.

00:06:57 - 00:06:59 | Speaker 4:

Good morning, Mojo and crew. How are you guys?

00:07:00 - 00:07:01 | Speaker 3:

What's happening? We're doing great.

00:07:02 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

Not much. I just called in to tell you guys I eat my crust first. So that way the cheese on the corner of the pizza is the last piece I eat.

00:07:12 - 00:07:20 | Speaker 3:

Yes. I've never heard of that before. What is up with people that don't like crust? I think the crust is actually the best part of the pizza.

00:07:20 - 00:07:23 | Speaker 4:

I like the crust. I just like the cheese in the corner better.

00:07:23 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 2:

Have you ever known anybody that doesn't like her, where you start with the crust?

00:07:27 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 3:

No, you never start with the crust. Because that's hard to hold. Unless it's like a Jets pizza, like one of those corner pizzas where the crust is the best, or a Chicago-style deep dish pizza.

00:07:40 - 00:07:42 | Speaker 4:

Rob Dyrdek eats his pizza like I do. Rob?

00:07:43 - 00:07:49 | Speaker 3:

You're actually quoting, or you're using him as your reference point on this one. Ridiculousness. How do you know that he does that? Did you see it?

00:07:49 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 4:

I mentioned it on the show one night. I'm ready to listen to it.

00:07:51 - 00:08:03 | Speaker 3:

Oh, did he really? Okay. Cajun, butter, garlic. Best crust combination. Butter Parmesan. Is it like from Hungry Howie's? Are you talking about? Yes. But you can get it from Hungry Howie's too.

00:08:03 - 00:08:06 | Speaker 2:

Cajun, butter, and then garlic on the crust.

00:08:06 - 00:08:08 | Speaker 3:

Oh, I thought you were actually telling me to pick one.

00:08:08 - 00:08:11 | Speaker 2:

Oh, no, no. You can actually put all that on there. Hell, yeah. It's the combination of the gods.

00:08:13 - 00:08:31 | Speaker 3:

Hungry Howie's does have good. They have good crust. Yeah, their crust is good stuff. 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548 is our telephone number. I cannot believe how many people say that they throw their crust away. They don't eat crust.

00:08:31 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 1:

It was just funny how this guy was eating the pizza up to the crust and then making a tower of it.

00:08:36 - 00:08:36 | Speaker 3:

Yeah.

00:08:37 - 00:08:38 | Speaker 1:

It's like the whole situation.

00:08:39 - 00:08:53 | Speaker 3:

If you're on a date and you're going on a date and the person eats like a child, do you think they make love like a child? do you think that or do you think that they're like a child in uh in other ways in other ways

00:08:53 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 2:

yeah probably it's got to be a mental thing really feel like how you eat says a lot about you like more than other things i really really do i've heard people say that they think that i would

00:09:03 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 3:

be horrible in bed because of i chew with my mouth open and i eat fast they think that how does that translate they equate that to being fast in bed because you eat fast yes that i'm like a fast i'm like i will i i don't savor it where sex you would think like in which by the way they're absolutely right they aren't wrong have you ever thought about that think about

00:09:27 - 00:10:04 | Speaker 1:

the guys that you've been with okay so i said that's with such conviction because this is wes wes is the politest most well-mannered eater i have ever seen in my whole entire life and this is coming from a girl who had to go to etiquette school for like seven years but the way that he eats is so just like intentional and he eats slow and he uses he like butts up the food against his knife and then like turns the fork over to put it in his mouth it is just very methodical and that is how Wes is. That's his brain. Very methodical.

00:10:04 - 00:10:05 | Speaker 2:

And that's how it is in the bedroom, too?

00:10:06 - 00:10:11 | Speaker 1:

No. And he turns the fork around.

00:10:13 - 00:10:19 | Speaker 2:

Dustin, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning. Hi, Moj. How are you guys doing today? We're good. What's going on, buddy? I'm getting hungry.

00:10:20 - 00:10:34 | Speaker 5:

Not much. My coworker does that with pizza. He leaves the crust. He's like 34 years old. Oh, God. I don't understand it. It's just funny. I love the crust I agree with Mojo, the crust is one of the best parts

00:10:34 - 00:10:48 | Speaker 2:

He's a child Maybe he's not watching his carbs Have you ever seen somebody that Just eats the toppings off of a pizza Because they don't want Yeah, they don't want the carbohydrates What's going on? How you doing, Dalton?

00:10:49 - 00:11:04 | Speaker 5:

Hey, good What's up? Yeah, me and my friend Armando We went to a place called CeeCee's And it's like a pizza buffet Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was great. We had 118 pieces of pizza between the two of us.

00:11:05 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 2:

118?

00:11:06 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 5:

What did y'all smoke? 118 between the two of us, but we didn't eat the crust so we could keep track of how many we ate. Oh, my God. Wait, did they kick you out? It's a pizza buffet. Yeah. Are they still open? There used to be one next to the old radio station. No, no. They're closed down now. Because of people like you. They told us to leave. Yeah.

00:11:26 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 2:

uh tomatoes was the one by the station well we there was also a cc's right there yeah so the tomatoes pizza which was an all-you-can-eat buffet during the day they still have that and uh and bo and dom would go there during lunch and both them were big dudes but bo actually looks fabulous right now so uh bo's you can listen to him on omc but he is he's such a great guy but he and dom would go there during lunch i think with big boy so the three of these guys would pull their big old fat asses up to the buffet and they would eat like crazy and i would get calls the next day from the manager tomatoes going we don't want those guys don't come back yeah they would get mad they were like if you came it would push it even over the top what's up sal hi

00:12:12 - 00:12:22 | Speaker 4:

hi i can say that this is a long time but first time Oh, thank you.

00:12:22 - 00:12:23 | Speaker 2:

What's going on?

00:12:24 - 00:12:47 | Speaker 4:

So for me and my girlfriend, one of the ways that like I knew that I was like, kind of like meant to be. Like one of the little fun things about us is she hates pizza crust unless it's like an ultra flavored cheese to the very end. She does not like that. And I will eat her crust because I don't care. It's like a breadstick for me. Facts. So I do crust.

00:12:48 - 00:12:49 | Speaker 2:

You eat her crust?

00:12:50 - 00:12:50 | Unknown:

What?

00:12:50 - 00:12:53 | Speaker 4:

Yes. Let's be in. From the back?

00:12:54 - 00:12:55 | Speaker 2:

That's so good.

00:12:57 - 00:13:08 | Speaker 4:

What we do most of the time is I just have her rip it off of it, and then she just, so I don't actually have to, like, eat the part she's eating. We did that at the beginning. You guys.

00:13:09 - 00:13:16 | Speaker 2:

This is unbelievable. By the way, I don't know if we're allowed to talk about stuff like this on the radio, but. What was it like the first time you did it?

00:13:16 - 00:13:28 | Speaker 4:

Um, the first time she did it, I was like, I noticed, I'm also a very frugal person. So I try not like when we went out to eat for the first time, it was really stressful for me.

00:13:28 - 00:13:29 | Speaker 2:

Slow down, slow down when you say it.

00:13:30 - 00:13:50 | Speaker 4:

It was really stressful for me the first time we went out to eat and to specifically get pizza. Cause I'm such a frugal person that I'm like, what's the smallest thing we can get? And I was noticing she wasn't eating the crust. So I was like, do you not eat your crust? And she's like, no, I haven't since I was a child. None of my family does. Like, our entire family doesn't.

00:13:50 - 00:14:06 | Speaker 3:

And I was like, can I eat it? And she's like, fine, sure. I'm not going to eat. I'm just going to throw it away. I just started nibbling on it. Oh, my God. Wow. Oh, my God.

00:14:06 - 00:14:08 | Speaker 2:

When you started nibbling on it, what did she say?

00:14:10 - 00:14:21 | Speaker 3:

I was just like, this is kind of perfect. because I've never eaten crust in my entire life. And I mean, I was like, great. I've always eaten crust. So I guess I just get a little more pizza now.

00:14:22 - 00:14:40 | Speaker 2:

Wow. What a day. What a day this is. Poor girl. She is a lesbian. Was her crust better than yours? It was the same pizza.

00:14:40 - 00:14:41 | Speaker 3:

Okay.

00:14:41 - 00:14:46 | Speaker 2:

Well, Sal, thank you so much. I appreciate that. That was wonderful.
