Yesterday, I drove home to go see my mom, and she was hanging out with my seven-year-old brother, Alex, and I was just having such a bad day yesterday. And I crave a Diet Coke whenever I get upset. So if you want to make me feel better, just get me a Diet Coke from McDonald's, and I'll be fine. It may be an issue, but that's another problem.

McDonald's Cokes are the greatest Cokes ever. They really are. Yeah.

The first sip. I can't even describe the first sip of a McDonald's Coke.

It makes everything right.

It's magical. But I went home, saw my mom, and I didn't think that she was going to stop on the way home. So on my way from picking up my brother, Alex, I said to him, hey, I think we're going to go to McDonald's for dinner. And how old is Alex again? Seven. Seven. That's right. And he immediately goes, McDonald's! Yes! Best day ever! My mom can say no to me. But she can't say no to him And I may need to go to confession now

Oh my gosh, okay And so you guys went to McDonald's?

Did you just say McDonald's? I did It's acceptable We did not go to McDonald's But we did go to McDonald's And I got a Diet Coke Ended up getting a medium fry and a McChicken. And let me tell you, why does food taste so much better when your mom buys it? Like, if I were to pull up to a McDonald's and order a Big Mac or something, it would not taste as good as if my mom were to buy it with her credit card.

That is so true.

You know what else it is, I think? That is so true.

You feel guilty if you buy it.

Yes! You feel guilty. You're like, oh, it's a little treat.

But it still feels like a treat

if mom buys it. Yeah. It's an occasion when I go with my mom. I love that you say snacky snack. I said that, too.

There is something great about that. And honestly, there is also something great about mcdonald's when you go and you're not going because of any other reason then you're just trying to make yourself feel good and you just drive through the drive-thru and get a coke and a large fry and that's it and you walk out because you feel like you have committed less of a of a you know a weight sin by just having the fries and the coke

sometimes i feel a little shamed though i'm not gonna lie i love my mcdonald's you know this but I love the Happy Meal. I like either a cheeseburger Happy Meal or the four-nugget Happy Meal. And when I say I don't need a toy, and they're like, ma'am, girl or boy toy, I'm like, I really just don't want a toy.

But I don't want to say, it's for me. My mom is so upset because after, she wasn't upset. She wanted to. She knew she wanted to spend some quality time with her 24-year-old daughter. But afterwards, Alex opened up his Happy Meal and started putting... together this like origami microphone toy thing and it was bedtime and my mom was pissed she's like i'm not helping you i'm not doing origami at 9 p.m we're not even supposed to be eating

mcdonald's right now what was going on yesterday that was such a bad day for you um i came home

and oh i feel like a lot of people could relate to this that horrible beeping sound when your smoke detector is out it was actually my carbon monoxide detector and i thought battery was issue because it was reading in the laundry room that there was something going on and then I'd put it in another part of the house and it wasn't beeping. So I'm like, okay, maybe I should leave. And I called my dad and he ended up going over there and he was like, yeah, the batteries are dead. Of course, the batteries are dead. That is scary. But I immediately, it said, you know what? I just left, hoped the problem dissipated, went to my mom's, got McDonald's and came back. That's basically how everything works.

When you have a bad day like that, emotional eating is always the good thing. It's honestly the thing that you just got to go and do, and pulling through the drive-through is the great, because you're so emotionally upset about whatever the heck is going on, but then as soon as you say goodbye to them and they hand you that bag and stuff like that, and you put your hand over while you're driving and grab that first fry, all pain goes away at that time.

The worst part is, though, when you get home, it's all gone, because I can't wait. I've got to pull over.

And that beeping sound is still going off.

Yeah, the carbon monoxide is still going off. And your car smells like McDonald's.

Question for you guys. I'm going to throw this around the room real quick, and then we're going to do Am I the A-Hole. Question, what is your emotional eating destination? Because mine has changed in the last, like, few months or so. Like, mine has become Chick-fil-A more so than McDonald's. It used to be McDonald's. I'd go through a McDonald's, and I'd get a double quarter pounder with cheese, no bun because I got the gluten allergy, large fry, and a large Coke. But now I go through a Chick-A-Follet and I get myself just a shake.

What's your shake of choice?

Well, they just took away finally the peppermint Christmas one was my favorite. But honestly, I like just a pure vanilla shake. It's the best vanilla ice cream ever.

My old McDonald's go-to was the vanilla cone. Because I used to do princess parties and I would have such stressful weekends. My wig and everything You need to explain that It sounds like something kinky No it's not kinky I mean it could be But I used to dress up as different Like Disney characters And go to birthday parties I did that for five years During the summer Because

Well I could understand Being stressed after toddlers

Oh I would get the worst headache with the wonder woman wig and i remember i would rip that thing off of me as soon as i was done and mind you we're doing like cartwheels in 90 degree heat because everyone wants to do their princess parties outside like oh and we don't even have shade anyway uh and of course i had to eat the birthday cake so that was an awful summer you earned that vanilla cone yeah but i would go to mcdonald's afterwards and get a vanilla cone and be literally in a wig cap the bald in the drive through eating a sundae and spraying no child. I love you.

I was nine months pregnant, and I was driving. I had just eaten dinner with my husband, and I was going to the store, and I got two Big Macs and a large fry and a Coke, and I called my husband, and I had pulled over on a side street, and he was like, what's wrong? And I literally had a mop full of Big Macs, and I was like, I can't stop eating.

Again, tell us the order again.

So, it was two Big Macs, a large fry, and a Coke. You go, girlfriend? Wow, that's amazing. I couldn't stop. And he was like, it's okay, it's okay. He's like, I'm home. And I'm like, I can't drive. I can't see anything.
