little potential advertisers went to visit them after work yesterday and what do you think do you think that uh they'll advertise they're very nice people i hope they will well we advertise with us we need money yeah we laid it all out to them i mean we give them the exposure no other

platform can give them isn't it nice by the way i will say this salespeople are smart when they do bring us on these things because we are like non-threatening you know what i mean like we'll go out well hey hey how you doing what's going on and oh my god i listen to you guys that's great but we'll steal their wallets just like the sales people well you know the sales people

are coming with numbers and spreadsheets we're just there to smile and look pretty and and get the check um but it was fun because while they were giving me a tour of their office i kind of got a topic out of it too because uh as they were taking me around introduced me to a lot of their employees some were listeners saying hi some were real excited um others didn't give a crap who i was which i always loved that too and uh there was one person and as we were walking away from the guy they said that's our creed and i said our creed they said you know creed from the office and it made me laugh because remember creed from the office like there's always that one person in every office nobody knows anything about their life what they do at the office even if they have a family like we know nothing about anything they do after they clock out and go home yeah and i was thinking man there's always one at every office like you they keep their private life completely private but sometimes you're not even sure what do they do in the office like i know they've sat at that same desk for years i'm not sure exactly what their job is we've had people that have been

sitting in those little like oh there's so many and i have no idea right at all what they do i

think every few years we always pull a fast one on mojo and bring some people in the studio and say oh yeah who's this and like they've worked here nine years my favorite is when you see them

when you're going to the bathroom and you're like hey how you doing what's going on and you're like finally i introduced myself to one of the people that was here and they were the guy it was a guy do you remember that guy that used to work here he was i think he was from uh um he might have from ukraine but he was he was the guy that was like the business manager guy he was real tall guy if you say so you don't know but he actually had an office office and i would walk by him all the time and i'm going wait a second should i know who this guy is but he was the guy that would like make sure people paid their bills yeah and he would do all the auditing and i think or something

like that mojo sent me on a street scam once where i walked into an office with a briefcase just sat found an empty cubicle, sat down, started chatting with people.

How long could I stay there before they realized I didn't work there? Because in a lot of these offices, people are too embarrassed to go up and say that they don't know you because they might have met you 10 times. Now I can't do that anymore. Security is a little different in these offices nowadays. But I thought this could be a great topic if anyone has any of those little strange coworkers that keep their private life completely private. You know nothing about them. Or is it strange? Maybe it's not strange. Maybe.

Who's the person in your office that you have no idea anything about? and it would, you know, it would or would not surprise you to find out that on the weekends they, you know, I don't know, they, they, they go to swingers conventions or something

like that. You know what I mean? I always go back to, we had that guy.

Yeah. Yeah. Remember? Yeah. There was a guy that was, uh, his wife. That's why. Yeah. But do you, do you, do you guys know like half of what some of even the salespeople do in their private time? I don't like there's some sales.

It's a little different now if you start following people and in social media and you

start to learn that way like oh they have kids yeah they like to vacation here whatever what's

that one guy's name cole right yeah yeah so cole is a really nice guy his wife's a model and i

really oh which i didn't know until my kids did a fashion show a couple of months ago and she was the one who walked them down the runway and then he came to me a couple literally just a couple of weeks ago and said you guys your kids did this did you know that that was my wife and i had no

Hey, so I was working on a construction site, and there was this older guy that nobody really knew, and he was doing cleanup. And we were in a job meeting one day, and somebody had asked which company he worked for. And he was there for literally four months cleaning the job site up every single day, and he didn't work for anybody.

You're kidding.

He was just some guy showing up? Just some guy showing up, and we ended up talking to him. He just said he was bored.

Oh, my gosh.

And he had something to do. So that contractor got four months of free labor. You guys should hire the guy.

You should have hired him, yeah.

Yeah, so I don't know what happened with that, but yeah.

That's weird, though, that he would just constantly show up. Didn't that happen in the office also? Didn't they have some? No, The Office, the TV show. Or am I thinking of another show where a person just showed up every single day and wasn't even on the payroll? I would watch The Office on and off again. I was never like a religious office watcher. But I almost wonder if we should have people call us up and tell us who the creed is in their office. And then we call that person to find out more about them. We'll help you. Well, it's not necessarily that the creeds are the jerks of the office. It's almost kind of like they just aren't real communicating.

Our engineer, Mark, is that way. He wants to keep life work and private life private. But he doesn't like to mingle. He doesn't like to go out after work. He's just like, leave me alone, fly under the radar, get the job done, and go home.

But you know what's funny is? If you catch Mark on a talkative day, you get amazing conversation with the guy.

For 10 years, he wouldn't open up. I didn't know much about him. And then for the last 10 years, I found out, dude, we should be hanging out. We just drink crappy beer and watch Red Wings.

Oh, my God. Actually, I truly think that if I didn't work with Mark, our engineer, and maybe this is the case. with you, Becky, I feel like I would be friends with them. Like I would have no, you know, no problem sitting around and hanging out. Cause we kind of share the same likes and stuff. And then when I found out that Mark, uh, he raised his, his nephew, I was like, my heart is such an awesome guy. That's the other thing too, is you don't know what people's problems are at home. Like you have people in the office that have struggles or you have people in the office that have extenuating circumstances in their family and they come in every single day.

Yep. We're the ones that keep to ourselves because work is our escape. So we just go to work, do our job, and then we have to go home and see.

That's a great point, yeah. But, man, if you ask Mark, like, hey, you going to happy hour? Hey, you going to jingle ball? He's like, F no, I'm going home. We don't fraternize after 5 p.m.
