Mojo in the Morning Show. Phone number is 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548. The show is now on, obviously, all these great radio stations, Channel 955, 104.5 SNX, 92.5 KISS FM. We are on the iHeartRadio app on all of those stations, so you can listen to us and set a preset of all the radio stations and, of course, the Mojo in the Morning Show podcast that we have so that you can listen to the War of the Roses that you just had a chance to catch a cheater with. Shannon, yesterday you had to leave the show a little early because you had some sickness going on with Smith.

00:02:11 - 00:02:45 | Speaker 4:

Oh, man, you guys, wash your hands because everything's going around right now. Oh, no. I went to pick him up at school, which, by the way, I'm the mom that's like, you're good, you can go back to class, we can make it through the day because both of them call me all the time with the stomach ache, but this was, Mom, I threw up. And I'm like, oh, damn it. I went to pick him up. There were six other kids waiting in the office for their parents to come pick them up. Wow. I know. It's just that time of year. And I'm feeling kind of, verdict's out on me. So I'm hoping that we all don't go down.

00:02:46 - 00:02:51 | Speaker 7:

So, well, good that Wes is gone because he's not going to get it. Because, right, how long has he gone for?

00:02:52 - 00:02:56 | Speaker 4:

So he is supposed to come back tomorrow night, just depending on how all of the travel.

00:02:56 - 00:02:57 | Speaker 7:

Just in the nick of time.

00:02:57 - 00:03:58 | Speaker 4:

Well, it gets better. So he's supposed to come home tomorrow night at some point. And so I've got Smith hopefully on the up and up. When we went to bed last night, Lucy was like, Mama, I feel like I don't feel very good either. I'm like, oh, my God. He could potentially be coming home to two sick stepkids, a wife who's not feeling so hot. and my sister Jacqueline is out of the country and so my family is taking turns helping her with her two girls so I'm also going to have my two nieces both under the age of four so this poor guy is coming home probably just wanting to sleep after two weeks of very little sleep shower after two weeks of not living in the greatest conditions because he was on a mission trip he probably wants to like get into some cozy clothes have some sex instead he's coming home to four children two of which are sick and again me also not feel I'm like could it be could it be a worse situation

00:03:58 - 00:04:02 | Speaker 7:

to come home to would you be would you be upset if he calls and says my flight was delayed and you

00:04:02 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 4:

he knows what he knows the situation that he is potentially walking into and so I thought I will not be hurt if he decides to sleep in you know one of the open bedrooms uh-huh um i totally

00:04:18 - 00:04:24 | Speaker 7:

understand he left one mission trip to come to another one you know how like guys want to come

00:04:24 - 00:04:35 | Speaker 5:

home to a girl in a trench coat lingerie what if instead you hung a trench coat on your bedroom door and it's just like a bed yeah with like like those blackout curtains made and like a chocolate

00:04:35 - 00:05:00 | Speaker 4:

on the pillow and you just say for you yeah and just you i know kenyatta who is one of our favorite listeners of all time she i love her so much she's been checking in um for the past almost two weeks now since wes left and just like you know seeing how i'm doing and so last night she was like oh he's almost home get yourself a cute nightie and just make sure you're available for him i'm like yeah no that's not what it's gonna look like At all.

00:05:00 - 00:06:14 | Speaker 1:

whose house is crazier than shannon's right now with all this going on i mean i bet you there's some listeners that can relate to this where uh you got like everybody they're sick or you got you know somebody family now living with you or craziness i always love by the way what what you have to come home to and hearing our listeners tell us their nutty stuff that they've got because it it's so funny because that is the stuff that you you know it's not as relatable the i'm you know waiting for you in a trench coat it's more relatable i've got screaming kids 844 mojo live 844-665-6548 luke came home from school uh sick yesterday from uh east lansing he he called up and he said that he wasn't feeling good and then dr warner uh you know checked him out and so luke has got like a stomach flu or something is it noro because i know norovirus is going around like mad i don't know but can you imagine being sick and living in a fraternity house no with you got a room that's the party room with three guys that all live in that thing like that would not be you're sick with a guy named ass juice next year that's right so actually that he's now going to be called that too after last night actually it's funny you

00:06:14 - 00:06:46 | Speaker 5:

say that because when i was in college when i was going to butler i i was a theta i lived in the Kappa Alpha Theta House. And we all got sick. We all got the norovirus. And the Marion County Health Department had to come and slap something on our door saying we were all quarantined. It was on CNN. I remember that. It was like we were the talk of the nation, actually, because it was on national news. But it was so embarrassing that there were all these cameras outside of our sorority house because there were 72 of us stuck inside. We couldn't go to class for four days.

00:06:46 - 00:06:53 | Speaker 6:

Imagine being that cruise that got norovirus. and then they docked and wouldn't let them get off and everybody was getting sick of the hallway. It's projectile vomiting.

00:06:54 - 00:06:56 | Speaker 1:

Caitlin, what's up? It's Mojo in the Morning.

00:06:57 - 00:07:12 | Speaker 4:

My house has been extremely crazy too because Saturday, all three of my boys got the stomach bug and then Sunday, their dad got it and then Monday, my daughter got it. Tuesday, I got it and she's finally just now starting to feel better today.

00:07:12 - 00:07:13 | Speaker 1:

Oh, jeez.

00:07:13 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 5:

Oh my God. Sending you a hug through the radio. It's the worst. It is the worst.

00:07:17 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 4:

It's the worst. It's the absolute worst. I ended up having, I almost had to take my daughter to the hospital yesterday because she just could not hold anything down.

00:07:25 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 5:

You know what I brought out yesterday, Mojo? The bucket.

00:07:28 - 00:07:29 | Speaker 1:

The popcorn bucket?

00:07:29 - 00:07:35 | Speaker 5:

Nope, it's not the pop. It's actually like the cleaning bucket, the mop bucket. Brought it out, put it right next to the couch.

00:07:36 - 00:07:38 | Speaker 1:

My mom used to do it with the popcorn bucket, Megan.

00:07:38 - 00:07:39 | Speaker 5:

I don't understand popcorn bucket families.

00:07:39 - 00:07:41 | Speaker 6:

That's so gross.

00:07:41 - 00:07:57 | Speaker 1:

Yeah, it was a popcorn bucket slash every now and again if we were having a big salad. salad it was like it was like thanksgiving one year and we all looked at the it was like a silver thing it was like a big one uh like in i'm like hey isn't that the puke but don't say it nobody

00:07:57 - 00:08:17 | Speaker 2:

will eat salad uh what's up ali i have five children that are all teenagers who currently have the flu and they are all miserable they're babies and they've been down for two and a half weeks along with my grown man child husband oh no oh you poor thing who's the bigger baby when

00:08:17 - 00:08:43 | Speaker 1:

they're sick um probably my husband i was gonna say yeah it is so so funny moms chelsea i i feel so bad for chelsea because when chelsea got sick she couldn't do anything about it it was like nobody was giving her the sympathy i'm sick it is bad yeah and to top it off we had our two-year-old grandson for about a week oh christ oh my god send them home my teacher friend just texted me

00:08:43 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 5:

and said she has 14 kids out in her class yesterday in one class that's insane shut

00:08:50 - 00:08:59 | Speaker 1:

the school down yeah uh christina what's up it's mojo in the morning hey turn your radio down okay because you'll get confused by the delay

00:08:59 - 00:09:24 | Speaker 3:

sorry sorry well my sister i'm moving her she just bought a house three weeks ago they gave the day today to move um and so i have been sick so i just got over it but she has a broken leg so i have to move her house my daughter has coveted my husband has the flu and my mom has pneumonia oh my god geez so it has just been insane i don't know how to handle it but i'm

00:09:24 - 00:09:31 | Speaker 1:

gonna do it oh my god well we're sending you uh some blessings uh through the radio here uh jess What's going on?

00:09:31 - 00:09:38 | Speaker 2:

Yeah. So from all my kids, we put grocery bags inside of our puke buckets for easier cleanup.

00:09:38 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 1:

That's a smart idea.

00:09:39 - 00:09:41 | Speaker 2:

You just grab the bag and throw it away.

00:09:41 - 00:09:47 | Speaker 6:

I never understood why families didn't do it. My family did, which was just a trash can. Why are we doing buckets?

00:09:47 - 00:09:56 | Speaker 5:

Why are we having to wash dishes? It's because our moms did buckets and their moms did buckets. I think it's just a bucket tradition. But you can throw away trash bags. Yeah, no, you're right.

00:09:57 - 00:10:00 | Speaker 6:

And if you're kitchen trash bags, they're like water sealed too. Although I don't...

00:10:00 - 00:10:09 | Speaker 4:

feel like that's sturdy but here's the deal i don't know usually it's what's the first thing you can find and you can't find the the you don't want to take the garbage out if you're reaching

00:10:09 - 00:10:14 | Speaker 1:

for the popcorn bucket you're next to the trash can in the kitchen oh yeah it's there the best

00:10:14 - 00:10:26 | Speaker 4:

is the people that use the chili pot because then that chili pot pretty similar i hate the cold almost as much as the person who sneezed on me and got me sick this is mojo in the morning

Think about it. When it comes to your own food, you can walk into a restaurant, see what's being made, and know exactly what you're getting. But with dog food, most brands keep that completely hidden. Just Food for Dogs does the opposite. They've built their entire brand around open kitchens. You can actually walk in and watch them prepare your dog's meals with real human-grade ingredients like chicken, beef, carrots, and peas cooked right there in front of you. No mystery, no behind-the-scenes you're not allowed to see. That kind of transparency is rare in the pet food world. And it's a big reason they've become the number one vet-recommended fresh dog food, earning trust from pet parents who want to feel confident in what they're feeding. When a brand is willing to show you exactly how your dog's food is made, it says a lot about the care, quality, and standards behind every meal they produce. Nothing to hide, everything to love.
