Hey there, I'm Kat. I'm a college athlete. I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis, which caused back pain and stiffness every day. With Cosentix, I'm able to stay active.

All right, Mojo in the morning show. We got the pleasure of having a special person listening to the show right now. We're going to shout out Spike's sister, Patty, for listening to the show this morning. She's road tripping right now listening to the show. Is that right?

00:02:15 - 00:02:30 | Speaker 6:

She is driving to pick up her son at Penn State through a blizzard to get them home. A lot of parents picking up all their freshmen for the first break. and get to see if they failed their first semester or not in college.

00:02:30 - 00:02:44 | Speaker 5:

Now, for years, we've talked about Patty on the show, and we have heard the great stories of you two guys growing up. I always felt like you two guys were kind of like me and my brother Bill because you guys were probably closest in age, right, where you guys kind of bicker back and forth a little bit?

00:02:45 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 6:

We shared a room for the better part of the first 10 years of my life, I think. So we shared a bedroom.

00:02:52 - 00:02:54 | Speaker 5:

Would you say that was the best 10 years of your life?

00:02:54 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 6:

It's right up there for sure. Although, I'm not sure. I don't think they want me to visit. So I'm supposed to visit my parents and my sister for Christmas. Yeah. And remember when I went to Philly to visit my parents for Fourth of July vacation, and my sister's whole house had COVID, so I never got to see them? Yeah. Well, I'm going to Philly, and my sister's told me her whole house has COVID again. So I'm starting to think Are they really sick Or do they just not want me to come visit Wait a second This sounds very sus to me

00:03:30 - 00:03:35 | Speaker 5:

Do you think your sister would do that to you Do you think she would

00:03:35 - 00:03:44 | Speaker 6:

Well it's happening So I gotta find out Can we call her Please please please I'll let you call her after the holidays

00:03:44 - 00:03:46 | Speaker 5:

Why can't we not call her

00:03:46 - 00:03:49 | Speaker 6:

No I do not want to fuel this fire We can't catch COVID through the phone

00:03:49 - 00:03:54 | Speaker 5:

Now she obviously does not have COVID because she's going to pick up your nephew, right?

00:03:55 - 00:04:03 | Speaker 6:

Well, she says Friday was her day zero, so technically today is five days. Oh, okay, yeah, that's good. She's doing creative sister math.

00:04:03 - 00:04:06 | Speaker 5:

Well, no, that's right. That's actually more. That's more than...

00:04:06 - 00:04:07 | Speaker 3:

That's how they do it for school and stuff.

00:04:07 - 00:04:13 | Speaker 6:

But she didn't start to feel sick till Saturday, and she took the test and tested on Sunday.

00:04:13 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, but that would still be. That would still be. So Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, today being Friday, V5. I don't know. I'd give her that.

00:04:20 - 00:04:23 | Speaker 6:

Eh, I probably wouldn't get in a car either for two more days.

00:04:23 - 00:04:26 | Speaker 5:

But you are. But you are actually.

00:04:26 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 6:

Listen, one of the reasons you'll hear me get stressed is because I walk on eggshells every time I go home for the holidays. Because sometimes my sister's a very unique personality. I think I've told you stories before about how when we go out to dinner, she would look at the check. Because if we're going to split the bill and she didn't eat the appetizer. So if we're going to split it, she shouldn't have to include the Aussie loaded cheese fries. and like so take six dollars off and i'm just like everything gets very um particular i'm a very easygoing no stress kind of person i just want to relax on the holidays

00:05:00 - 00:05:05 | Speaker 3:

So that is why I'm not allowing you to call her. You want to talk after the holidays? I won't have to see her for a few months.

00:05:05 - 00:05:09 | Speaker 2:

Patty, 844-MOJO-LIVE, 844-665-6548.

00:05:09 - 00:05:11 | Speaker 3:

She's listening on the app, so she probably won't hear this for two minutes.

00:05:11 - 00:05:20 | Speaker 2:

Reese, I ask this question because you kind of are like Spike's new Patty. You're like his new sibling that he gets into disagreements with.

00:05:20 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

I never get in disagreements with Reese. I love Reese.

00:05:23 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 2:

Reese. You love to stroke. Do you think, let me ask you a question. Do you think Patty is the problem Or maybe Spike is the difficult one What are your thoughts

00:05:33 - 00:05:38 | Speaker 1:

I feel like they both probably have their things That they bring to the table That aren't the best

00:05:38 - 00:05:44 | Speaker 3:

Name something I've done to Reese I say nothing but nice things I help him around here I try and go out of my way

00:05:44 - 00:05:48 | Speaker 2:

Reese feels like you always look over his shoulder And do stuff like that

00:05:48 - 00:05:50 | Speaker 4:

Reese is like don't bring me into this

00:05:50 - 00:05:58 | Speaker 2:

Reese what if Spike has you as a secret Santa What if Spike has you as the Secret Santa Or what if you have Spike

00:05:58 - 00:06:04 | Speaker 3:

I'm sorry, Reese, he's doing this to you He's not happy I won't do conflict with my sister on the air Right before Christmas

00:06:04 - 00:06:09 | Speaker 1:

I feel like Spike could get some good gifts Last time, last birthday, he got me some beer So if he got me for Secret Santa

00:06:09 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 3:

This is not Christmas if everybody isn't fighting I don't like this Hold on a second

00:06:19 - 00:06:23 | Speaker 2:

Hold on Texters are texting in right now That they're all searching for Patty

00:06:23 - 00:06:45 | Speaker 3:

The whole thing about my sister, it only became a big thing because the one day I asked Mojo not to bring it up on the air, and he did. And that's how she found out every year that I was sharing the Christmas newsletter with everybody. It wasn't me. Yes. There was a morning where I said, don't talk about it today. And you went on the air and you said it, and my nephew heard it.

00:06:45 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 2:

It was the listeners that told your sister. Because, you know, what's the problem is, it used to be back in the day when we used to read your sister's Christmas letter. Nobody knew about it because social media wasn't as popular as it is right now. And the iHeartRadio app wasn't even invented yet. So now we are, you know, worldwide, international, you know. So what ends up happening is anything you bring up on the air gets brought up on the air and it gets out there.

00:07:10 - 00:07:17 | Speaker 3:

Don't say anything you brought up on the air because I told you that morning not to bring it up on the air. And you outed it. Don't try and remove yourself from the formula.

00:07:17 - 00:07:21 | Speaker 2:

Notice I get along with all of my siblings right now. Notice all of them loving it.

00:07:21 - 00:07:27 | Speaker 3:

Right now. I get along with all my siblings That's why I'm trying to keep it that way

00:07:27 - 00:07:47 | Speaker 2:

Alright so here's my question I want to know who is the sibling That you are least excited To see this holiday Sibling or this holiday season Or relative that you're least excited To see this holiday season That you know you'll end up getting into a fight with You have to call us up 844-MOJO-LIVE 844-665-6548 Who's your Patty?

00:07:48 - 00:07:58 | Speaker 4:

My brother because right now he has the manfluenza And if I have to put up with his whiny little bratty ass One more day I will probably murder him

00:07:58 - 00:08:02 | Speaker 2:

I think that you and your brother never fight with each other This is like the love that you guys have with each other

00:08:02 - 00:08:13 | Speaker 4:

That's so funny Because I couldn't tell you how many times I've been working with you guys How old is Smith? Almost six Five and a half Okay, so five and a half years There was six months where my brother and I didn't even speak to each other

00:08:13 - 00:08:22 | Speaker 2:

Oh my gosh It was bad for a minute there It was the nicest six months he's had in a long time It was very quiet That's for sure. What's up, Blair?

00:08:23 - 00:08:29 | Speaker 4:

So in our family, we have to remind each other to deck the halls and not each other for the holidays.

00:08:29 - 00:08:30 | Speaker 3:

And not deck each other.

00:08:32 - 00:08:35 | Speaker 4:

I need that on, like, a wreath for the front door.

00:08:35 - 00:08:50 | Speaker 2:

I will never forget when I was probably, I think it was 18 or so, my brother Bill throwing the turkey knife across the room and literally having to duck from the butcher-sized knife that was being thrown across the room.

00:08:50 - 00:08:51 | Speaker 1:

That's amazing

00:08:51 - 00:09:00 | Speaker 2:

Isn't that what families are for And by the end of the night We went to midnight mass together That was the craziest part of the whole thing And we all sat in a pew And they did the whole

00:09:00 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 4:

And held a candle They did the whole Our Father

00:09:02 - 00:09:07 | Speaker 2:

And then you had You know how you do it at some churches And then they Right when you get to the end of it They make you raise your hand

00:09:07 - 00:09:21 | Speaker 4:

Peace be with you And also with you It's not like that anymore It's different And with your spirit And with your spirit I'm such an old Catholic now If I went back I would be like What's going on I still say And also with you That's the OG.

00:09:21 - 00:09:27 | Speaker 2:

So, Will, do you think that you'll see your sister? Because you guys got, you're not going, like, now to go there.

00:09:27 - 00:09:29 | Speaker 3:

I'm spending all Christmas Day at her house.

00:09:29 - 00:09:33 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so by that time, every COVID will be out of that house. You don't think that, right?

00:09:33 - 00:09:35 | Speaker 3:

No, by then it'll be fine. Yeah, yeah.

00:09:35 - 00:09:40 | Speaker 2:

Okay, so she's definitely not trying to see you, or she's not using that as an excuse to not see you.

00:09:40 - 00:09:49 | Speaker 3:

Will you mysteriously come down with COVID? If it gets me a week off of this show, I might. I might when I get back.

00:09:49 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 1:
