mojo in the morning show after a long week you like to treat yourself to something that is comforting a food item that would make you feel good and i did this where i ended up after the show going to get a mod pizza Have you ever been to Mod Pizza or Blaze Pizza?

00:02:51 - 00:02:52 | Speaker 3:

You ever eat at those places? Yep.

00:02:52 - 00:03:28 | Speaker 5:

For some reason, I love those pizzas. I love the fact that they're cooking it right there in front, and they usually have pretty good pizza. And I have to be gluten-free, so they usually have good gluten-free options. So I decided that I was going to eat it, and then I realized, uh-oh, I got to get home because somebody had come over to my house. So what I was going to do was I was going to bring it home with me, but I realized I couldn't wait. So I started trying to eat it while I was driving. And let me just say this to you. Are these cameras on right now? Oh, yeah. How can you eat that right there?

00:03:28 - 00:03:30 | Speaker 3:

Oh, that's got a lot of stuff on it.

00:03:30 - 00:03:50 | Speaker 5:

How do you eat that? Let me show you what I got as far as toppings are concerned. I had sausage, mushroom. It looks like green peppers. Oh, my gosh. I think I even, did I put it? No, I didn't put onions on there. That was a one stray onion. It should not have been on there. I did not order the thing But I tried to eat this thing while I was driving

00:03:50 - 00:03:57 | Speaker 3:

And you have to say this about Mod pizza The crust isn't like super duper thick

00:03:57 - 00:04:12 | Speaker 5:

Do you know what I'm talking about? No it's a thin crust pizza Yeah it's not like But although I will say this to you That thicker crust pizza sometimes Is even more difficult to eat Because I have tried to eat Like a Jets pizza before

00:04:12 - 00:04:18 | Speaker 3:

I find that with Mod pizza I like to eat it like New York style where you've got to kind of fold it.

00:04:18 - 00:04:20 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah, like eat it like a sandwich? Yeah, like a sandwich.

00:04:21 - 00:04:22 | Speaker 3:

Yeah, like a taco. Yes.

00:04:23 - 00:04:48 | Speaker 5:

Are there certain foods that you just cannot eat while you're driving? I would like you to do us a favor. I'd like you to either call us or on our social media, share with us what food item almost got you into a car accident because I've listed the worst food items that you should not be eating while driving. Number one on the list You cannot have A Detroit Coney dog It just can't

00:04:48 - 00:04:49 | Speaker 4:

Why not

00:04:49 - 00:04:55 | Speaker 5:

It's too difficult It's too messy I can't even eat it At a table Of a restaurant Without spilling it On myself

00:04:55 - 00:04:59 | Speaker 3:

Yeah but you're not Eating a Coney While you're wearing Your nice glove Why not

00:05:00 - 00:05:01 | Speaker 1:

I don't know.

00:05:01 - 00:05:15 | Speaker 3:

It is a good go-to after a night out, and sometimes that night out is like a wedding or something. Right, but where's the next place you're going? Taco Bell. Bed. Yeah, no. You can get a coffee. I'm on a bender.

00:05:15 - 00:05:18 | Speaker 5:

Actually, the bathroom. A pony and then a cheesy gordita crunch.

00:05:18 - 00:05:22 | Speaker 3:

I'm going to say, damn, girl did it. By the way, cheesy gordita crunch.

00:05:22 - 00:05:25 | Speaker 5:

Another one. Oh, that's a bad one, too. Tacos in general.

00:05:25 - 00:05:33 | Speaker 3:

Now, y'all are not thinking about this properly. The only food you can't eat while driving is soup. Everything else is on the table. Really? Everything.

00:05:33 - 00:05:41 | Speaker 5:

So you can eat soup as long as you don't use a spoon for the soup. Like if you use, if you drink it like a cup of coffee, you can actually eat it.

00:05:41 - 00:05:42 | Speaker 2:

What about a salad?

00:05:43 - 00:06:02 | Speaker 4:

Salads are horrible to try to eat. So Allie got a, when we were driving to Florida, Allie got one of those Chipotle bowls. Yeah. And got us both those. I was like, go ahead, get whatever you want to get or whatever. And I tried to eat that while driving. It was the hardest thing in the entire, it went all over the cup. It went everywhere. Yeah, as the driver, she needs to feed you.

00:06:03 - 00:06:10 | Speaker 5:

It needs to be, like, fed to you like you're an old person that's sitting in a chair, and you need to actually have help.

00:06:10 - 00:06:16 | Speaker 2:

I always have an issue with Starbucks coffee. The lid always pops off. It's not even a food. I can't even drink it in the car because the lid gets everywhere.

00:06:17 - 00:06:19 | Speaker 3:

See, I feel like the Starbucks lids are good. They did?

00:06:19 - 00:06:20 | Speaker 2:

They got better.

00:06:20 - 00:06:44 | Speaker 5:

The Tim Hortons lids are terrible. Look at this Starbucks lid. It's, like, impossible to take off. Yeah. They can't get those things off. Well, I have an issue. Here are some other items. Anything barbecue Can you imagine trying to eat like ribs While you're driving Has anybody tried to do that No but that freaks me out Chinese food How do you eat Chinese food while you're driving That's near impossible Unless it's just fried Unless it's like fried rice or something like that

00:06:44 - 00:06:58 | Speaker 3:

You've never used chopsticks while driving I have I've done sushi You have? I can barely use chopsticks right anyway You sent it on the passenger seat And then you just grab it

00:06:58 - 00:07:10 | Speaker 5:

Grocery store sushi is easy to eat As long as they don't have anything on top of it As long as it's like just California rolls But you don't use chopsticks when you're doing it You just grab them with your fingers, don't you?

00:07:11 - 00:07:18 | Speaker 3:

I mean, it depends if I'm at a red light And somebody cute is looking at me I'll pick up the chopsticks But if I'm just driving, meaty little bear paws

00:07:18 - 00:07:24 | Speaker 2:

I would be worried about impaling myself with the chopsticks Here's what I want to do

00:07:24 - 00:07:33 | Speaker 5:

I want us all to get into a car When can we get Mike and Megan in town And let's all get in the car And get all these items And let's all try to eat it while we're driving

00:07:33 - 00:07:36 | Speaker 2:

It's going to be in your Tahoe Done

00:07:36 - 00:07:48 | Speaker 5:

And then we'll go to the car wash We'll go to the Clean View Auto Wash Who gave us money for breaking and entering And we'll get it cleaned out But here's the reason why I do this I just want to see her meaty little bear claws That she has

00:07:48 - 00:07:50 | Speaker 3:

Her grubby little bear paws

00:07:50 - 00:07:51 | Speaker 5:

What's up Hannah?

00:07:51 - 00:08:34 | Speaker 7:

hannah how you doing good thank you it's hannah ah son of a gun i did it again what's got what's up hannah i just remember there was this one time i'm a student at wayne state and i commute so i had i was driving down woodward i had picked up some soup from trader joe's because it was a chilly day and that's what i was craving and i remember driving with my knee i do it frequently and someone had cut me off and so i had to slam on my brakes and right before class i had spilled an entire cup of soup all over my car my sweater my seat my cup holder it was a mess so soup is what i would say

00:08:34 - 00:08:42 | Speaker 5:

you can't eat while driving yeah that's what megan was saying too trying to eat soup is a tough one they should make it like in a mug or something like that i was gonna say the only soup you can

00:08:42 - 00:08:48 | Speaker 3:

really eat is wonton soup because you can just straight up drink it until the chunks come yeah

00:08:48 - 00:08:57 | Speaker 5:

Yeah, that comes towards the end. What's up, Mark? How you doing? Good. What is it that you can't eat while you're driving?

00:08:58 - 00:09:02 | Speaker 1:

Aside from the taco idea, Mexican bowls, like Udoba. Yeah.

00:09:02 - 00:09:03 | Speaker 4:

Yes.

00:09:03 - 00:09:09 | Speaker 5:

Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Yes. Which, by the way, why are you eating Udoba anyway? You should be Chipotle. Chipotle.

00:09:10 - 00:09:10 | Speaker 4:

All day.

00:09:11 - 00:09:15 | Speaker 5:

We're snobs when it comes to that. Jen, what's going on?

00:09:15 - 00:09:26 | Speaker 6:

Have y'all ever tried to eat them 7-Eleven buffalo wings And then like they have like them little sides of ranch Like the little cup Trying to dip and drive And it's horrible It gets everywhere

00:09:26 - 00:09:30 | Speaker 5:

You have to be 7-Eleven wings at all You have to be really hungry

00:09:30 - 00:09:39 | Speaker 6:

They're not actually that bad They're kind of meaty But it's like this big wing And then this small little ranch cup That you're trying to dip it in Without dripping ranch everywhere

00:09:39 - 00:09:42 | Speaker 2:

All I can think about is How sticky her steering wheel has to be

00:09:42 - 00:09:59 | Speaker 5:

Oh yeah You know what's actually good at 7-Eleven Do you ever try the cheeseburger dog? I don't know. This is basically the reason why I had open heart surgery. The cheeseburger dog is basically a cheeseburger in the shape of a hot dog. Have you ever seen it? Like, people think.

00:10:00 - 00:10:06 | Speaker 8:

that it's an old hot dog that's on that spindle. It's not. It's actually a cheeseburger dog. Try it. Delicious.

00:10:07 - 00:10:08 | Speaker 10:

I don't believe you.

00:10:10 - 00:10:16 | Speaker 8:

Yeah, I love that. Get that in a Slurpee and you got yourself a good Monday. What's going on, Rob?

00:10:17 - 00:10:25 | Speaker 9:

Morning, everybody. Megan would know what one I'm talking about is the Tony Paco hot dog.

00:10:26 - 00:10:29 | Speaker 7:

That's a tough one. They've had Paco's. They've had Paco's. Yes.

00:10:29 - 00:10:53 | Speaker 8:

Matter of fact, we've had it multiple times because we have trade there. The sauerkraut in mustard makes it very messy, Rob. Yes. I have left Toledo and driven up 275 with mustard stains all over my shirts. Yep. It's a bad one. But they are good. Actually, I haven't had one in a long time. I do miss one.

00:10:54 - 00:10:56 | Speaker 7:

Yeah, we love a good Hungarian hot dog.

00:10:56 - 00:11:00 | Speaker 8:

Sean, hi What is it that you cannot eat while you're driving?

00:11:02 - 00:11:05 | Speaker 1:

McDonald's Big breakfast with hot cake Oh, yeah

00:11:05 - 00:11:16 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely you can Let me tell you a little secret here You take the sausage, put it on the hot cake Roll it up like a little burrito Slather that bad boy down You are a pro I am so impressed

00:11:16 - 00:11:19 | Speaker 1:

Just drink the syrup afterwards

00:11:19 - 00:11:23 | Speaker 7:

Absolutely Clog those arteries

00:11:23 - 00:11:26 | Speaker 8:

Wait, Megan, isn't that called like a pigs in a blanket or something?

00:11:26 - 00:11:37 | Speaker 7:

You guys are just thinking small That's what this is You're not putting your mind to it Little I think I can mentality Is what we need around here

00:11:37 - 00:11:49 | Speaker 8:

Yeah I think honestly that there's a way to eat any of this stuff As long as you think it through When I was driving with that mod pizza All I kept thinking to myself the whole time was I need to go to like AutoZone And see if they have a TV tray

00:11:49 - 00:11:51 | Speaker 6:

That will sit there right in front of my story wheel

00:11:51 - 00:11:55 | Speaker 8:

They probably do If I could put a TV tray right there It would be the greatest thing ever

00:11:55 - 00:12:12 | Speaker 6:

They probably do. You know how you're, what's that brand you love that you like oogle over? That Weather Guard? Weather Guard, yes. Weather Tech. Don't they have like a cup holder thing that holds your phone? Yeah. See, they need one that has a tray attached to it. So it's right there.

00:12:12 - 00:12:20 | Speaker 8:

My birthday's coming up. My birthday is on the way. You guys, anything you want to get me for my birthday, get me one of those if they have one.

00:12:20 - 00:12:21 | Speaker 6:

Which one? The phone thing or the tray thing?

00:12:22 - 00:12:24 | Speaker 8:

No, I don't need the phone thing. I want the tray thing.

00:12:24 - 00:12:25 | Speaker 6:

Man, I'm looking right now. No, no, no.

00:12:25 - 00:12:29 | Speaker 7:

Please let me buy this for him for his birthday. Okay, okay, okay.

00:12:31 - 00:12:33 | Speaker 8:

Democritus, we haven't heard from you in a while. What's up?

00:12:34 - 00:12:36 | Speaker 10:

What's going on, Mojo?

00:12:36 - 00:12:39 | Speaker 8:

How you doing? What is it that you like to eat while you're driving?

00:12:40 - 00:13:06 | Speaker 10:

Fried rice. I can't stop eating it while driving, but I've had a bad experience once. I tried making the right turn, and my whole entire plate just fell right in the middle between my seats. All between my middle con show and everything, it was horrible. All the peas, all the carrots and everything was all over the side of my pants.

00:13:07 - 00:13:13 | Speaker 2:

You ever so hungry, though, that you still kind of just pick it off there and eat some of it? Like, even though it just spilled on your floor, you still kind of pick it and eat it?

00:13:14 - 00:13:18 | Speaker 10:

No, I'm not doing that. I'm in it. I'm in it. Drop away.
